~ Something that cannot be hidden is the scent of love ~
The silence was felt all the way because Ave was completely exhausted. Zaid wants to take her to dinner, but the girl's eyes are closed. Finally he drove the car home.
Ave is not sleeping. The girl was just thinking. His mind was filled with questions. He wants to understand his own feelings. To his dreams, to his family, and to the man next to him.
Why was his heart so easily touched just by seeing Zaid waiting for him for hours in the hospital? Why was her heart trembling with eyes holding back tears seeing the happy smile that was seen on her brother's face which was usually very rarely emotional? And why would that tiny baby, who had only been around for a few hours, be able to make Ave want her own baby?
Where did his dreams and dreams shift from his heart? Why is he no longer sure? Why is it that now in her brain she remembers Zaid's short and cold words when she said she wanted to marry him? He could remember that statement well. I started to want to say the opposite answer from before. He wants to say....
"YESYAH!!! NO!" peeking Ave unconscious while shaking his head.
Zaid jumped in shock and almost turned the wheel just like that. In a hurry he controlled himself.
"Astaghfirullah, Ve! Wh why? You dream?" ask Zaid. He didn't stop the car, just reduced his speed while glancing at Ave.
Ave glanced in annoyance, her mouth pouting before replying, "YES! Dream Father! Hmh!"
The twitch on the corner of Zaid's lips lifted slightly. But his eyes were clearly laughing at Ave. "It was good to dream of me. How's it? What are our dreams again? A kiss? Sleeping together? Shower.. hahaha!"
Can't stand teasing Ave, Zaid laughed.
"Don't, you slob! Ave tell ya... No, not at all!" Ave's mouth was getting taper, he even folded both hands in front of his chest. Sulks.
Zaid's laughter subsided. He replaced his gel face with a smile. "Is my dream that bad until you're upset like this?"
"No really... "
"So what's the dream?"
"That's.. about.. baby," murmured Ave bluntly. Almost without a second thought.
Zaid's hand almost took off the wheel again. He looked quickly, before remembering that he was driving. "Geez Ve, we're married yet, you've dreamed of a baby that looks like me!"
"FATHER!" peekik Ave upset again. This time Ave purposely closed his eyes again. Better to sleep than constantly tempted by the boss who is now more clever to reply.
Zaid laughed again. Wider. Longer. No longer care about the girl next to him back sulking, and throwing his face away. He knew there was progress he had made to win this girl's heart.
But fatigue turned out to make Ave really fall asleep. Zaid chose to carry her in, Ave squirmed and her eyes opened slightly.
"Sleep!" whispered Zaid quietly while releasing the safety belt.
"Hmmm... " Then Ave casually put his hand to Zaid's neck and continued his sleep. He was surrounded by loving men and loved to pamper him from small in the family. This kind of attention was only one part in her sweet memories.
Zaid took Ave to his room. He did not bring Ave to his pavilion, because it must be locked and Zaid did not want to reach into the girl's bag to look for a key carelessly. It is better for him who succumbs to sleep on the sofa or in the workspace. After all, the last time he glanced at the pavilion room, Ave managed to turn that minimalist room design into a high-level art of a broken ship.
After laying Ave down, Zaid went to the bathroom. He needs to take a shower. The shower is very cold. Being in touch with Ave is really a test of inner birth. Zaid had to make the sleeping woman in his bed to be his wife. Very soon before he froze to death every night to dampen the desire.
When he came out of the bathroom and changed into a shirt and loose trousers, Zaid was amazed to look at Ave.
Ave's sleeping style is unique. He slept like a turtle. His legs and hands flapped like wings. The blanket that Zaid had worn to warm his body was already rolled up on his feet and some of his hands. The pillow on Ave's head was pressed to the corner and the girl's head was no longer on the pillow.
Even in his sleep, the girl could not remain silent.
Holding back a laugh, Zaid fixed the girl's sleep. Then he fixed the blankets and pillows on Ave's head. This time he slipped a blanket under Ave's body, so that the girl would not easily remove the blanket again. Lastly, he gently swept the child's hair that covered Ave's face before deciding to sit down for a while, enjoying the peaceful face that fell asleep. Unknowingly, Zaid stroked Ave's cheek slowly.
For years, Zaid never imagined that one day after more than 30 years, he would want someone to be next to him. In the past, he thought no one could understand him. He even thought of living alone. A safe choice rather than making himself hurt, or maybe hurting someone else.
But now, he wanted to understand this girl lying on his bed. He wanted to know what Ave liked and hated. He wanted to be present in every second of this girl's life. He wanted to make sure a happy smile and laughter were always on Ave's face. He wanted to feel the girl's hardships and sorrows. He wants to be a part of his life.
Zaid took a deep breath before turning off the lights and exiting the room, carrying a pillow and blanket. The sofa in the living room is the best choice tonight. He knew he would have trouble closing his eyes. But it was not because he was thinking about trouble, precisely because his heart was too warm filled with various pleasant tastes.
Ave woke up a few hours later. It was almost midnight and a little confused to see the surroundings were pitch dark. Ave hastily swept the nightstand, and he was lucky to find the lamp. After fumbling around, he found a small switch button. As soon as the table lamp was lit, he could breathe a sigh of relief.
Someone who turns off all the lights must not know that he cannot sleep in complete darkness. Even in the apartment when saving electricity first, Ave did not dare to sleep as dark as that. Whether it's candles, desk lamps or cell phone lights, Ave has to see the light when he wakes up or he won't be able to breathe.
It took a few minutes before Ave really woke up and realized that he was not in his own room. This.. Zaid's room!
Soon Ave's head turned to the side of the bed, but there was no one there. He breathed again. But his body was hard to move, apparently rolled up by a blanket. He could not take off this blanket. It must be Zaid rolling it like an omelet roll like this.
Where is Zaid going? Ave got up and turned on the room lights. Checking the room. Blank. There was only himself in that big room. While opening his blazer, Ave started exploring the contents of the cold-faced man's room.
There are not many decorations or displays in the room that is dominated by gray, black and white. Almost like a regular hotel room. The difference is, there are many books arranged on one of the shelves. But for that part, Ave was too lazy to read. That kind of book is sleeping pills for her. Read in line, his eyes will be puffed up by the ballast. Read a sheet, he'll fall asleep. So it's better not to.
Accidentally, Ave passed through a long mirror near the wardrobe and his eyes almost jumped out looking at his messy look. Hurry up to the bathroom. Intend to wash your face.
But when he saw the big white tub in the bathroom, Ave's longing for his house began to peak. Without a second thought, his intention to wash his face turned into a soak until he was satisfied. Indulge his body that is getting used to poverty.
Only, Ave forgot that the owner of the bathroom was a man. Of course all the masculine scents he chose. But Ave doesn't care. As long as he can feel the comfort of a luxury, about the masculine fragrance he can still accept. Its okay.
However, when Ave got into the bathtub and started to sink his body between the masculine-scented soap scum, his mind was filled with the owner's shadow. The smell of this soap is really perfect reminiscent of his figure. Moreover, even though he had fallen asleep a bit earlier, Ave could smell the same scent on the man's chest while carrying him earlier.
Still unable to remove the shadow, Ave came out of the bathtub. Choosing to end his desire to soak. He prefers to sleep now. Hoping that tomorrow morning, he managed to bring out the shadow of the cold-faced man from his head. But before that he had to remove any traces of that soap.
Casually, Ave retrieves one of Zaid's t-shirts from the wardrobe. Having an older brother, made Ave accustomed to wearing a male outfit. No problem, it can be washed. He was too reluctant to move into his pavilion. Zaid's comfortable room was too tempting.
Ave woke up when she heard a sound from the bathroom. Someone is taking a shower. Ave's hurry up. Without waiting until Zaid came out of the bathroom, he came out of the room carrying all his clothes and bags.
After getting ready in his own room, Ave rushed into the kitchen and Zaid was already sitting at the dining table sipping coffee. He checked his iPad as usual. But what's unusual is that there's another cup of coffee near Zaid. There was also a plate containing sandwich bread neatly lined up on the side of the cup.
Ave just wanted to ask, when Zaid turned to her. "Eat your breakfast! I had breakfast earlier. Here's toyou. I made a sandwich."
Ave flabbergasted. Looking at me in disbelief. Loh, isn't making breakfast his job? But. ah already. Today Ave's bad luck, he also has to go to the office immediately. Yesterday he left the office just like that, while there were some projects that his team handled. Not only that, he still had to go to the hospital. There is no reason to reject Zaid's kindness.
"Eat it don't be quick. Later on," Zaid scolded softly as he saw Ave sitting down and eating in a hurry.
Ave swallows before answering, "Did you go to the office or to the studio?"
Zaid looked confused.
Looking at the question in Zaid's eyes, Ave connected again. "Today Maya is filming again, sir. Usually if he's filming, you're going to the studio."
Zaid. "No! There's a team there. Unless you need to get there, I'll drop you off."
A thin smile is visible. "No, sir. Ave's going to the office. Ave's work is more."
Then Ave continued breakfast while Zaid began to busy checking emails while finishing his coffee. When they finished, they went out.
"Wait on! Wait, Sir!" hold Ave with a crimped forehead.
Zayd turned behind him. "What else is it? Is anyone missing?"
"Sir, are you mourning?" ave almost whispered.
Zaid. "Shaman? Whatchu mean?"
"That's. Father's soap. That's a pellet, right? That's what attracts girls, right?" accuse Ave of getting more intense.
"Huh? Soap?" Zaid was confused. More and more don't understand.
"Suffering isn't good, sir. The idol! Not really that. Good thing last night Ave threw away all of Dad's soap. If not, the sins of the Father are getting bigger. The father is handsome, do not need to use magic as well have many who like it," said Ave while stepping again.
The soap? Oh this girl who threw it away? This morning the big bottle was empty. Apparently this little girl did it. But what magic does this girl mean?
Zaid could only follow Ave's steps in confusion.
"Pantesan aja Mbak Maya until his side chasing the Father. Ave no wonder now. Surely because of the magic soap, right?" Even after being in the car, Ave still kept talking about it.
Zaid, who had been trying to understand Ave's intentions, began to successfully connect his mind. "Wait the minute, Ve! You mean... I use that magic-loved soap?" ask before starting the engine.
"Yes!"
"To... interesting... girls?" ask Zaid in doubt.
Ave nodded with confidence. "Yes!"
Zaid's shoulders trembled, getting stronger and stronger and he could no longer help but laugh. Scream with laughter. Astaghfirullah, this one antique girl!
Seeing Zaid laughing amusedly for the first time made Ave stunned. His eyes were in disbelief. The Snow Prince had now changed his appearance. Totally different.
Zaid laughed for a long time, before finally subsiding and his hand was busy starting the car engine. His laughter remained as he said, "You know what, Ve? Because of your weird fantasies, this morning I took a shower without soap for the first time in my life."
"Diiiih, you sloven!" hatch Ave fast.
"Some of you throw people's soap, but not willing instead," said Zaid. His eyes stared straight ahead, driving at moderate speed.
"Sorry, Sir. Ave forgot! In the afternoon we stopped by to buy ya," promised Ave.
"But I'm really curious. You have a strange thought if I use soap that is given magic from where?" ask Zaid curiously.
Ave's open mouth was preparing to answer. But then he knew it wasn't the right answer. Zaid would have teased him if he had known that he thought that way because he had trouble removing the shadow of the man after smelling his scent. Right now, he can't expose his disguise, by telling his feelings. Later. At the time he could explain everything freely.
Ave shakes. "There's a!" answer before looking at the car window. Hiding his face that was beginning to blush.
Zaid was silent, starting to guess. It's just, he doesn't want to laugh. Not all just her guess. Ave is not a predictable girl. The girl behaved very uniquely. In the dream Zaid could never imagine anyone who thought he was grieving just to attract the attention of women.
A smile rose again on Zaid's face as he remembered Ave's previous sentence. Once again holding the tickle in his heart. Surprisingly, he felt very happy.
