Sun Princess & Snow Prince
Episode 5 - The Little Cat's Roar

~ When a cat tries to roar in front of a tiger... ~

"Who said? You mean the director of this company?" ask the man. Ah, apparently he doesn't believe it. Ave had expected it and he already had an answer.

"Who else? Aren't they looking for a new employee to help out with the executive secretary? Did you see that, right? All the staff in his room were almost all men, well that was it. because he was. well that's it," said Ave with a look at his main face - me-las-kasih-tau-loh.

As soon as he finished, the man's gaze seemed to be piercing sharply towards Ave. Ave understood, he must have been shocked and unsure of the information. Ave's feet knocked on the floor repeatedly while waiting for the man to digest her words.

He had to do it. From his appearance alone, Ave already knew he could lose easily. This man could be his arch-rival to be accepted for a job here. Ave was too tired and lazy to repeat the process of finding complicated work. He should get a job soon. The current cost of living was too great for an unemployed person like himself. Moreover, Papa has blocked the opportunities of so many companies from him.

"Said my friend, so afraid of the men in this office, no one dared to work on this floor. So, in order to get a new victim, the director is always looking for new male employees who do not know about.. mmm!" whispered Ave. He stood up, sighing, "But it's up to you to believe it or not. I'm just giving you this important information." Then he shrugged his shoulders and left the young man with that shock-looking face.

Of course, being subordinate to a man with such a different life must have scared him and worried half to death. Where is there a comfortable job if done in a state of always fear and worry at all times? No matter how big the salary, no matter what the conditions.

Ave casually sat back in his chair, picked up his own phone and started reading the status-states that were milling around alternately on his sosmed account. But the tail of his eyes occasionally glanced at the man earlier. The man had already left, not knowing when because Ave had not seen him pass in front of him earlier. The chair is empty. Ave smiled with satisfaction. One heavy rival was already eliminated.

"Ave!" The call made Ave soar in shock. He almost fell down as he ran towards Eza who was standing near the elevator. He had stopped for a while to the GE building, and because the time was narrow, Ave asked Eza for help to take him on a motorcycle.

"Sister Eza why climb up here? Ave said go home!" Ave pulls Eza's hand and drags her back to the elevator.

"Ave haven't eaten anything since morning, here I bring. I was waiting downstairs, but you didn't come down, so I just went up."

"Sir, Brother. No one knows about Ave. Anyway Ave is still full. Ave used to eat late. Take him down again. Where can I eat here. Already, already bring it down there again."

"But Avelia..."

Ave doesn't care. He pushed the elevator button in a hurry. Glance at the wall clock which is still less than five minutes from the number 1. As soon as the elevator door opened, and it was empty, her breathing felt overwhelming relief. He quickly pushed the young man. He put his hands together, apologizing before the elevator doors closed. Ave was very worried that someone would recognize Eza because there was a GE logo on the jacket that the young man was wearing. As soon as the elevator door closed, Ave breathed in relief. Mercifully...

"How could you tell everyone about it, huh?" The voice behind him made Ave turn around. It turned out to be that guy. He hasn't left yet. Even this time, his clothes were already so neat. His shirt sleeves were no longer folded up to the elbows, and his shirt buttons were well pinned. His messy hair looked a little wet, now it was neatly combed. Ave complained inwardly. He began to feel his heart weaken each time he saw this man. Too. He was too handsome to be tricked by the genius goddess Ave.

"No, that guy just got the wrong floor. He wants to deliver the goods. But since I'm not an employee here, so I told you to go back to the ground floor. To the receptionist." Ave approached the man, looked at him for a while before continuing, "Mas himself? Want to keep trying?"

The man looked back at him, he pressed his lips together to form a straight line, "You alone? Not scared?"

Ave chuckles. "And I'm a girl, Mas. I am glad I have such a boss. Ayaaaa." Ave's hands waved in front of his chest.

"Is that so? So you're applying for a job here, too?" hisses. His tone of voice pressed the word applying for a job like making sure of something.

Ave nods. "I choose here precisely because I do not have to worry later there will be a love scandal that is not-no with the boss. I want to work well and comfortably."

That's when the elevator doors opened. It looks like some people in it, including women who have been calling prospective employees. The girl came out with the others. The handsome man got into the elevator. The gazes the two men met, the man threw a gaze and the woman lowered her head slightly.

Ave doesn't care. He looked at the elevator door that was starting to close while smiling with satisfaction. The handsome man finally left as well. That means the opportunity is getting bigger. He believes he has managed to get rid of his toughest rival.

After that Ave rushed to the female-only toilet. He improved his appearance to look better. He came out just as he heard his name called. The woman who was looking at him in front of the elevator called out to Ave. Ave hurriedly approached and was about to move towards the interview room when the woman stopped, holding back Ave's steps.

"Oh, you're the one who talked to Mr. Zaid, right?" ask the woman suddenly.

"I'm sorry?" Ave raised his eyebrows, confused.

"Yes, you were the one who spoke to Mr. Zaid, right? That's the guy who got into the elevator after I got out."

"Zayd?" repeat Ave wonder. What does that blue-shirt mean?

"Yes, who was wearing the blue shirt," said the woman as if reading the contents of Ave's head. Ave immediately nodded half unconscious.

"Say you've passed the first selection. So he will interview you directly for the second selection. Go straight there... " The woman pointed to the corner of the room where two tables lined up with two busy people in front of a pile of files. "... Take your file and later with Mr. Rizal, you will be escorted to meet Mr. Zaid for the next interview."

Ave gulped.

Escaped it? Just like... After everything he said to the man in blue. Doesn't this sound like a cat being ushered into a tiger enclosure? Who is that guy, actually?

"Tung..wait a minute! I'm sorry Ma'am, who is Mr Zaid?" ave started to panic. Cold sweat started flooding his back.

The woman looked at Ave. "You don't know? He's the director of this company. Zabir Zaid Abdullah." Then he turned around to leave Ave and went back to calling the other job applicants.

Suddenly Ave remembered the change in color of the man's face earlier. It seems, now he is the one who experienced it. Ave could feel his blood bubbling, heat running all over his face, before turning cold spread all over his body until his hair goosebumps and slowly Ave could feel his face as numb. Numbed. No more blood flowing there. The color now must be white, deathly pale. Exhausted from being sucked in by an overwhelming panic.

My God, Avelia Shamsiah Al Farizi! What have you done?!?
