Sun Princess & Snow Prince

Sun Princess & Snow Prince
Episode 41 - Like Uncle, Like Niece

~ Uncle and Nephew three pennies. Both are bitter-mouthed, but both fall in the clutches of Ave (Avelia) ~

Ave sings cheerfully while waiting for the elevator to return to the office, after seeing Papa. It turned out that Papa only wanted to meet for a while before leaving for Hong Kong with Ajie. With the reason he had to work again, Ave asked Papa to leave immediately. Although it looks heavy, but eventually Papa returned.

In front of the elevator he meets Hazmi.

"Where are you going, Mom?" ave asked looking at Zaid's assistant who looked hurriedly.

"Ah, you happen to be here... There's Mr. Zaid's brother coming, Ve. You can go home and greet him first? Mr. Zaid still has a meeting and I don't know when," Hazmi's pinta hastily.

Quickly, Avelia nodded. "Please, Mom! But Ave asked for permission to take a message to Mr. Bambang."

Hazmi nodded quickly. After that, the two separated. In a hurry, Ave immediately ordered a taxi online.

Arriving at Zaid's house, Ave breathed a sigh of relief when he saw no one in the front yard. Smiling casually, he opened the door. Slowly she shifted the door and...

"YESY!" yelled someone from inside.

"YES!!" ave screams until he retreats and falls.

The cry plus seeing a face with red eyes bulging, a long tongue sticking out and feathers filling the face, managed to surprise Ave. The girl's eyes nearly jumped out in shock and fear, before closing their eyes with her trembling hands.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Laughter loudly blared from the front door, making Ave ventured to open his eyes which he closed with his hands.

A little girl between the ages of 14-15 years old was standing while holding a creepy mask. He laughed chuckling. Still in shock, Ave could only silently not understand. A woman appeared from inside.

"Oh, O God, Laylaaa!! You're so bad!" exclaimed the woman glared at the little girl while helping Ave stand up. "I'm sorry my slave, yes! Forgive my slave!"

Ave smiled bitterly, "Grandfather, Brother! No papa, Brother... This is Mas Zaid's brother?"

The woman in front of Ave nodded with a smile. "This lizard... "

"I'm Mas Zaid's employee. Also the cook here," said Ave introduced himself. His hand shone on the woman's hand. Fortunately he remembered that Zaid's brother was a Malaysian citizen.

"Call my ja with Brother Zahra. And that's that naughty thing, pound the Zaid. My slave. Layla's name," said Zahra with a distinctive Malay accent that is very thick.

Ave smiled sweetly. "Welcome, Brother Zahra and Layla."

Zahra's hand waved in front of her face while pulling Ave's hand. "Already, already. Don't be formal. Please come in, we say inside."

Ave and Zahra entered together, followed by Layla who stepped behind them. Ave notices Zahra who looks very different from Zaid. Zaid's body was towering, much different from his older brother who was only as tall as Ave. If Zaid's dark black eyes were like bottomless wells, then Zahra's eyes were much brighter, more brownish and more hospitable. Zahra's skin is also darker, the texture of his face is ovoid and more like Malay in general. Very different from the lighter-skinned Zaid with a firm face texture and sharp chin. Are they really related to blood?

Zahra took Ave to the kitchen. It turns out that woman cooked. There is vegetable soup, sambal, potato stir-fry and fried chicken on the kitchen table.

"When Layla was hungry, I checked into the fridge and saw a lot of material. All ingredients are ready to cook, so it's easy. Sorry to interrupt your work."

Ave's hurry shook her head. "No papa, brother. Actually Ave was happy because this was supposed to be Ave's job. Brother wants to eat? Comeing! Ave help nyiapin ya."

The two of them prepared lunch together, chatting. As he was about to call Layla, Zahra held back Ave's steps.

"Watch is coming the moon huh, Ve?" ask Zahra suddenly.

For a moment Ave did not know what to answer to the sudden question. But he nodded.

Zahra clapped. "Ouch! I should have cooked spinach. *huff*h!" he cried with sparkling eyes.

For some reason, Ave felt an awkwardness behind the question, but he dismissed the feeling and immediately called out to Layla.

"When did you start working here, Ve?" zahra asked again as they sat down for lunch. Although he had met Papa, but Ave had no time to eat.

"About three months ago, brother. When I applied at The Crown."

"Why then can you be a cook here?"

"Sir Zaid is looking for a cook, and I have nowhere to stay."

Zahra nodded. "It must be hard for you, Ve. Zaid's a bad-tempered guy, right?"

"What is it, man? Uncle Zaid is the kindest and most handsome. He's second to none. People should be grateful for Uncle's cooperation," cried the little girl next to Ave fiercely. He stared in annoyance at Ave. His Indonesian language is much more fluent than Zahra which is still very Malay.

Wews... Apparently Zaid worshippers!

Ave grimacing. He chose to put rice in his mouth instead of having to answer that absurd question. On the side of Zaid's devotee, he did not dare to impale him.

"Waah the rice is over. For a moment, Brother get it!" Zahra stood towards the kitchen.

At that time, Layla sounded softly but reached Ave's ear, "Uncle is not lucky if you become his wife. It's ugly, cowardly, stupid anyway!"

What the...

"Watch to go again, Ve?" ask Zahra who had returned again before Ave had time to reply to the statement of the teenager judges.

Grunts had to appear on Ave's face. "Ooh, lest, Brother! Ave is full."

"Then, after you eat, accompany Layla to catch up, Brother there needs to be a moment. I'd like to meet up with my friend outside. Can I?" zahra asked with a sweet smile.

"May, may, may, Brother!" exciting Ave. Suddenly he felt like one of the voice actors in the series Upin and Ipin.

After driving Zahra to the door, Ave goes around looking for Layla. He looked into Zaid's room, the guest bedroom that Zahra and Layla would use, Zaid's study room even returned to the kitchen. But the spicy-mouthed teenager was invisible.

Having not changed clothes, Ave immediately went to his room to change clothes. And there he finds Layla, looking at and checking the small table where Ave used to work.

"Hey! Why are you here?" ave asked in shock as he walked quickly snatched away Layla's agenda book.

"Ck, tsk, tsk, tsk... You don't deserve to be an aunty. You slob! This broken ship cam room. It's yummy!"

Although Ave didn't quite understand the point, but the harassing expression on Layla's face irritated her. He struggled with his emotions, now everything exploded uncontrollably.

"God! Listen yes, om you. Mr. Snowy Devil bin Galak is chasing me! Understand not? Hp, I'm loved by you, too" said Ave, wiggling his new phone in front of Layla.

Layla's expression turned even colder. "That's because he's like you. You don't differ from a beggar! Stay free, dirty room."

"Beggar? Helllooo... Clearly Mama you called you what did you try? The slave! Slave... You know what the meaning of that is? Slave in English."

"The stupid wak! I don't understand Malay!"

"Let's be stupid, Wew! The proof is that you love me!" Ave loosened her tongue and she could feel the rays of hostility in Layla's eyes.

Ave pushes Layla's body out of the room. "There, sana... Out there! Here the territorial area of the original Indonesian citizens. Malaysians, Malays or anyone else cannot enter. Anyway NKRI! You're out there!"

Why did you come call you try? thought Ave. But his hand kept pushing Layla out. Her face alone was beautiful, it turned out that this little teenager looked more like a little wolf. It's no different than Zaid. Like uncle, like niece.

Layla still wanted to talk again, but then the little girl walked away from the pavilion and went back into the main house.

Ave heaved a sigh of relief seeing the boy leave. In a hurry, he began to clean up his room which was indeed a mess. It's not that Ave doesn't want to, but he doesn't have much time. But now, Ave would be embarrassed to be seen by Zahra. Layla's response was like that. Embarrassing.

After a few minutes, Ave decided to take a bath and change clothes, before he returned to the main house. In the main house, Ave looks for Layla.

The teenager was sitting watching in the living room which was also a family room. The actual room is rarely used by Zaid or Ave. Seeing the girl seem fun watching a Korean reality show, Ave felt Layla was just an ordinary girl.

As an adult, Ave felt that he was a little bit outrageous. So as a sign of truce, Ave intends to make him an afternoon snack. Moreover, he saw that there was nothing on the table in front of the girl.

With a sumringah face, Ave carried a tray containing a piece of strawberry tart, a fruit pudding and two glasses of chocolate milk.

"Peace up! Peace, Ok? Eat it first!"

Layla looked at Ave in annoyance, but her eyes clearly sparkled as she looked at the contents of the tray. Unabashedly, he picked up one of the glasses as soon as Ave put it on the coffee table.

"Say thank you first, Non!" said Ave smiling happily, while sitting next to Layla.

"Thank you!" layla said with her mouth still on the end of the glass.

Ave rubbed the girl's head which Layla hurriedly avoided. But Ave seemed unconcerned, he pointed to the tray. "Do you eat tarts or pudding?"

Layla lowered her glass. He looked at both. "I want everything!"

"Yes, please! You need to eat a lot of sweet things. I don't need to." Ave leaned back on the sofa, staring at the television, started watching.

Meanwhile, Layla had replaced her glass with a plate filled with tarts and started scooping into her mouth. "Khenapah akhu should mhakan the mhanis?"

Ave. "So you are very ugly, so let me make a little cake, gih eat a lot of sweet yaaaaa. I am so sweet, so beautiful. So no need to eat anymore" replied Ave with a grin.

"Ohuk!" Layla gagging. He glared at Ave.

Laughter Ave. But lovingly, he stroked Layla's back. "Slowly eat, Non! Don't be angry!"

Despite being annoyed at Ave who always managed to turn her words around, Layla spent all the dishes Ave gave. After that, the two watched television and laughed together.

After the show ended, Ave was about to clear the tray. That was when Layla's hand stopped her movement.

"Why, Lay?" ask Ave gently. He didn't want to fight this little girl. Layla is Zaid's niece. He should have a good relationship with her.

Layla's eyes seemed to be trying to read Ave's eyes, before she finally asked, "Did Aunty really love Uncle Layla?"

He has replaced 'awak' with 'Aunty'. Also mentioned his name compared to 'me'. It's a far difference. Looks like this girl is starting to accept Ave.

Ave sat down again. Smile with sincerity. This little girl was testing him, ever since he came this afternoon. Zaid must be his most precious uncle, so the girl checked Ave's room, tested Ave's patience and even asked him to argue.

"Hi, little girl! Do you know that you are similar to your Uncle? She's like you. Always say nothing like your heart. It's not easy to like people like you two. But once you're liked, then it must be unforgettable" Ave said as he touched Layla's soft nose tip.

"So Aunty likes me, or loves Uncle?" ask Layla plain.

Ave laughed a little. "Surely you are both quo. Love and love."

Layla smiles. Then he tilted his head a little. "Uncle, can you hear me? Aunty loves Uncle!" he exclaimed cheerfully as he jumped down from the sofa, welcoming someone in front of the door. Hugged... Zayd.

Ave's smile disappeared instantly and turned around. In front of the entrance, Zaid hugged his favorite nephew with a big laugh. As Zaid's eyes met with Ave who was still shocked, there was a clear gentleness in the eyes that usually looked sharp and cold. Behind Layla's back, Zaid looked at Ave meaningfully.

Thanks for liking me, Ve!
