Sun Princess & Snow Prince

Sun Princess & Snow Prince
Episode 6 - The Cruel Interview

~ Warring and being interviewed for the job makes almost no difference [Lily & Ave Quote] ~

Now Avelia knows what it's like to lose before war.

Before entering the room on the 8th floor, Ave already knew that he was not looking to be interviewed. But facing the angel of death.

Fucking bucket mouth! Brain shrimp!

A swearing oath was milling on Ave's head while following Mr. Rizal into the elevator, towards the 8th floor. The whole plan was destroyed before it was executed. All he thought about then was counting down the days to find another job opportunity. Not impossible, the hope to be able to collect money in a year is only hope. But Ave didn't want to give up. Not to the point of blood loss. This office offers the highest salary compared to others, Ave must try hard to get it.

On the 8th floor, Mr. Rizal moved towards the brown double door and opened it. He signals Ave to follow him. Ave has prepared all his 'weapons. As they walked into the large room, Zaid was sitting in his chair. Ave's eyes squinted slightly when faced with a large window that displayed an awesome view of the city, right behind the man's back.

"Good day, Mr. Zaid! This is the employee you called. Avelia Shamsiah," said Mr. Rizal opened the introduction.

The man was staring at one of the two 14-inch monitor screens on the table, while his fingers were busy typing something. There was no welcome or words coming out of the man's lips as he glanced at them for a while and then returned to the monitor screen. His eyes were so focused on the monitor. It was as if he did not care about their arrival.

There was no answer, no response at all. The man named Zaid was still staring at the monitor screen and kept typing. Only the sound of the air-conditioning buzz right into Ave's face. Ave could feel his face getting colder and colder, plus the silence of the Director, he felt like he was suffering from hypothermia. His hair had been goosebumps since passing through the door of this room and got worse when he met Zaid's cold gaze.

Mr. Rizal can also feel the cold atmosphere until finally decided to say goodbye. "Then... "

"You can get out first, Mr. Rizal. I'd like to talk to .." cut Zaid, without turning his head and just threw a careless glance at Ave.

"Ave... Avelia, Sir! Call me Avelia," replied Ave hurriedly.

Like getting a lottery, Mr. Rizal immediately nodded and passed. Ave could see both of Mr. Rizal's legs as if they didn't touch the floor. He flew, half running out of the room as cold as the morgue. Ave looked at Mr. Rizal's back disappearing behind the door that was covered with a bit of hurry.

"Why? Scared?"

The cynical question made Ave turn around. Unlike earlier, now Zaid was sitting quietly leaning back in his chair, looking at Ave with a half-mockery look. Apparently he had finished typing a letter or whatever earlier, because the sound of a printer machine that was printing.

"Don't you want to work for someone like me who is, well that's how it is" he said, repeating Ave's style when he gave him information.

Ave ****! Ave *****!

Ave put on a smile as sweet as possible. I decided to use her name to make her look more beautiful. "Oh means that the story is not true, sir? Oh, I'm so sorry, sir. Ave also got that information while waiting. Ave thinks you are also a prospective employee, so Ave informs. Did you see that Ave was alone? Well, Ave thought Ave had to convey that information to fellow prospective employees to be balanced. But only Mr. doang. Ave doesn't talk to anyone anymore. The suwer!"

It's not Ave's name if you can't turn things around. Communication graduates seem to have learned a lot of ways to talk and read a lot of novels and plays that make it always ready with all kinds of surprises like soap operas.

The man's eyebrows shot up a little. The corner of his right lip also lifted. A faint smile was seen as he straightened his back and muttered, "so like that? Okay..."

Iuduk Ave goosebumps. Somehow he felt that there was something behind the thin smile on the man's face. Zaid's hand signals for Ave to hand over his CV.

Ave started to feel uncomfortable, so he hurriedly handed over his CV and sat in the front seat of Zaid's work desk. The man began to lower his gaze, read the CV, then looked up again, and asked, "Avelia Shamsiah, are you ready?"

Ave straightened her back to sit more upright and nodded her head earnestly.

"Well, I'll start asking now." He lifted his face and looked at Ave. "Avelia, please explain in detail what were your experiences before coming to this company?" ask with a formal tone.

"Experience? Detailed huh?" repeat Ave while trying to think about the experience he had before coming to the company.

"Before coming here, Ave finished breakfast around eight in the morning. Then Ave took the bus and stopped by Ave's friend's office about half an hour later. After an hour there, Ave got out of his office and happened to meet one of Ave's other friends so Ave hitched a ride to the company building. It took Ave about ten minutes to get here, and after waiting for about an hour and forty minutes, then had to wait again for lunch for an hour, finally, Ave just got in here. In addition, Ave had a look around... "

"Hm... " That calm face seemed to darken and cut Ave's words firmly. Then he began to mutter as he wrote, "Not having experience and not being independent."

Jem!

Ave stared in annoyance. How could this person call him inexperienced and not independent just because he told me not all of his experiences? He hasn't even finished explaining!

Finished noting, Zaid looked up again, ignored Ave's protesting gaze, then smiled gracefully and said, "Now, we continue to the following question."

Good thing he's handsome... That smile of hers could erase Ave's slight annoyance. Never mind, obviously this first question is quite a lesson. Don't talk too much, say everything in detail quickly. This man is not a patient man.

This time, Zaid looked back at CV Ave and slowly began to ask, "Avelia, can you explain to me this part of CV that you are most proud of?"

Part of the CV?  thought Ave. He remembered again. Then nod with complete confidence.

"Border, Sir. Ave made the design of the CV periphery about two hours," said Ave while standing a little and pointing to the CV sheet with a purple pink fringe was full of enthusiasm. Of course, the ability to design is one of the talents that counts, right?

Unexpectedly, as soon as Ave finished talking and returned to his seat, the corner of Zaid's lips began twitching before putting his hand held to cover his mouth. He stared at Ave for a long time. Then after looking normal again, he looked back at CV Ave and said, "Two hours for a design that can be done in ten minutes?" While talking, he took notes again. "There is nothing to be proud of and not at all efficient."

Jem! Jem!

Whataa? What's wrong now? Avelia. Staring at Zaid in disbelief. He really wants to cry now. His first interview was a complete failure. It turns out applying for a job is not as easy as the shadow.

"The next question." The handsome director smiled again. But now, not the feeling of awe that appeared in Ave's heart, instead he had goosebumps looking at her.

Zaid raised his eyebrows slightly and again asked, "If you are accepted in this company, what personal characteristics do you expect from your leadership?"

It's chance!

After what Ave said at lunch, he was thinking of a way to ask the handsome Director for understanding. He can't waste.

"Ave doesn't have many conditions except, Ave wants a tolerant leader, willing to forgive and not soaking. Not only that, he will not repay those who accidentally hurt him, and is also generous to remain empathetic and treat them better so that anyone who works with him will not... "

Not to mention Ave finished talking, the man had already muttered and taken notes again. "Hffl... I really like to hope for the impossible."

Jem! Jem! Jem!

Finish already! With just three questions, Ave knew he had failed miserably. With such an evaluation, Ave would never be accepted into any company now. His shoulders were completely helpless.

Ave could see the satisfaction on Zaid's face when she saw him unable to hide his sad and disappointed expression. He looks very happy and satisfied. As if to complete his happiness of being able to reply to Ave, Zaid made a closing statement.

Yes already.no need also times until explained so. Just make it ashamed!

Ave stand. Realize that it will not be accepted. "Yes, okay. Thank ye. Ave will go."

With the energy of only a quarter left behind, Ave turned around and prepared to walk out of the young Director's study, but not to mention his feet stepping, Zaid's voice sounded smoother and sweeter this time.

"Congratulations, Avelia. You're welcome in this company."

Huh uh?? Meanin?

Ave looked over and was stunned where she stood.

"But... but..why? Wasn't Father... "

Ave could barely say anything. He was worried about hearing wrong. He did not know what happened because as far as he remembered, Zaid only said his shortcomings. There is no one advantage that could be a reason to be accepted to work in this company.

"The company has a program of assistance to students who have economic difficulties. With your poor ability, it is certainly not possible to immediately get a job and your economy must be very sad. So, by accepting you work here. You not only make it easier for companies to channel funds to the right people, but you can also set an example for our other employees of how important it is to maximize your ability before jumping into the workforce."

Waitaminute! What does this mean?

"As another addition, I feel you also need to look directly up close and get to know me well, in order for the rumors to come out... " Zaid's hands swirled in front of his face. "... it. you can prove the truth or not."

Ave wanted to smile but her lips were already stiff. "Actually.for that you can prove it very easily," he murmured softly. Afraid of being wrong again.

"In that case, what do you think I should do if the news is out?" asked Zaid with a piercing look.

Ave looked down deeply. "Date.what else."

"Pardon?" asked Zaid while furrowing his brows.

Ave ventured to raise her face. "Have a lover or a wife, sir."

Zaid's face froze. The corner of his lips twitched again.  "Just to dispel the rumors?" zaid asked half a statement. Ave did not dare to move. Not nodding, even he barely held his breath. This guy is handsome to make fear, can really make his nape goosebumps.

"I won't marry anyone just for the sake of rumors" Zaid said. "It's a method of solving problems that actually cause bigger problems, "he continued later with a long breath.

Jem! Jem! Jem! Jem!

"Okay, any questions?" ask Zaid while putting Ave's CV on the table. Staring at the girl with a flat face.

After a series of attacks it's time for revenge. Avelia raised her face and put on a face as clean as possible.

"Yes sir, Ave wants something."

Zaid nodded.

Avelia's smile expanded. "Daddy has a girlfriend?"

The eyes of the man in front of Ave did not blink, staring intently at him. He was at a loss for words. Ave tried not to laugh. He has been accepted. Bodo very deh if the evil Boss is angry. Ave can't stand being attacked mentally continuously.

See it? Just one question and he can't say anything. Haha...

"That's a personal affair, me," hissed Zaid slowly and firmly.

Say you don't have a real weight, whispered heart Ave girang.

"alright. Ave understood. Can we do it again?" tanya Ave is still pretending to be innocent.

Zaid's jaw is lifted. "What else? Want my girlfriend a girl or a boy?"

Ave rounded his eyes. "Well, how do you know?" He wanted to jump because he was happy when he saw the reaction on Zaid's face.

The sound of clashing teeth came from Zaid's tightly clenched mouth. He sighed before pointing towards the printer. "All right, it's done! You can take a sheet on that printer and later you can submit it to Mr. Rizal. Congratulations, you have been accepted!" he said in a tone that was difficult for Ave to explain. There is a mixture of cynicism, stifled emotions but also pleasure. I don't know. Ave doesn't want to guess anymore. It was good enough that he could counter Zaid's attack earlier.

But when looking at the contents of the finished letter sheet printed. Ave started to realize something.

Since then the letter that informs that Ave has been received has been typed and has been printed before the interview began. Means.this man has prepared everything from the beginning. He had intended to accept Ave as his employee from the beginning. But why did he criticize Ave so cruelly earlier?

Ave thought of Zaid's words when he said he accepted it. The phrase 'help programs', 'examples for other employees', 'wicked economy' ringed in his ears. Suddenly Ave glanced at Zaid who was still staring at him expressionlessly from his chair. He can't help but feel angry! He's really very angry!

This man had not recruited her because he wanted to hire Ave, but because he was looking for an opportunity to criticize and take revenge on Ave longer!

This is not a normal interview to find employees. This is an interview to find victims!

Avelia stole a look at Zaid who was now standing.

"If you're done, get out! I have another meeting" he said. But then he remembered something. "Oh yeah, I'm a normal guy, I like girls. But..which is definitely not the type like you!" he continued with a dismissive smile while looking at Ave from the tip of his foot to his head.

**jleb! Jem! Jem! Jem! Jem! *

Who wants to? Until Ave's ancestors rise though, he won't either.

But once again Ave could only remain silent.

This is a double kill!  and Ave was eager to prove to the man that the real war was just beginning.

While Zaid looked back at his monitor, a thin grin appeared on his face. The girl is a tough opponent and she hasn't had an opponent like her for a long time. This office will be much more interesting now.
