Chapter 18 - Hypothermia

Now Bella and Ben are sitting next to each other facing the fireplace. It just so happened that Lucky was a smoker, so he never forgot to bring a lighter in his jacket pocket.

Bella rubbed her hands a few times. Trying to give heat to his own body. Every now and then the girl would thrust a palm toward the fireplace.

Ben sat down quietly. He stared at the fire in the fireplace. I don't know what the man was thinking.

"The last thing I remember that night was a blizzard" Ben said. Causing Bella to automatically turn.

"What night?" ask Bella. Staring at Ben with the corner of his eye.

"I don't know. That's the problem, Doctor. I forgot some important things that night." Ben was ambiguous.

Bella watched Ben from the side. He can see the blood on Ben's head freeze. Anxious Bella immediately touched the point of the wound.

"You're okay, right?" ask Bella. His hand was already stuck to Ben's bloody head. The man's skin felt very cold.

"Oh my god! You turned out to be cooler than me," said Bella who felt shocked.

Ben is speechless. He even began to have difficulty controlling his breath. However, Ben takes the phone out of his coat pocket and tells Bella to call Jimmy.

"Send Jimmy to pick me up!" ben's orders. His whole body shivered violently. It seems reversed. Though it was clear that Bella was the one who did not wear a coat when outside. It was probably the blanket and the fireplace that saved Bella. The bluish color on her lips also seemed to fade.

"Wouldn't we call 911? They'll find us easier than Jimmy" Bella suggested. He had already typed in the number 911 to call. In the United States, the 911 is a call that can be made when experiencing emergency problems. Ben automatically nodded in agreement. Bella's proposal has a point.

Bella tells us where she and Ben are. He also did not forget to say the incident of a car accident that had occurred. Next, Bella and Ben just need to wait.

Half an hour passed. The snow is getting heavier. Mounds of snow on the ground even thickened to make the road invisible. The fireplace slowly dimmed. The cold returned.

In order to add warmth, Bella closed all the doors and windows tightly. He stuffed it with heavy stuff. Like cabinets, tables, and chairs.

To be honest, both Bella and Ben are cold. But somehow Ben felt shivering worse than Bella. Maybe the injury to his head is the main cause.

As a result of the cold, blood came out of Ben's nostrils. The man overcame it. Bella must intervene.

Bella makes the shabby cloth she finds to wipe Ben's blood. Ben's lips turned blue. He also has difficulty speaking. Ben's blue bead kept staring straight at Bella. As if there was something he wanted to say.

"Ben, I'm gonna do something to keep us both warm." Bella unbuttoned Ben's shirt one by one. Until Ben's athletic abdominal muscles are plastered in front of the eyes. Bella doesn't care about that at all. He's in a precarious state now.

After taking off all the buttons on Ben's shirt. Bella then opens her jacket and shirt top. The look of the girl now only wore a bra and jeans. Next, Bella immediately hugged Ben tightly. Then use the blanket to lock her and Ben's body.

Bella and Ben's chest touched each other. The warm feeling slowly began to spread throughout their bodies. Both of them regulate the breath that continues to hunt.

"When did 911 come here?.." asked Ben.

The sound of commotion from the window sounded. Ben and Bella are shocked. Both of them looked at the source of the sound.

The window looks broken. The snowy wind swirling immediately went inside. Anxious Bella, intending to rise to repair. But Ben would not let.

"Hold on for a moment." ordered Ben in a soft voice.

"No Ben. If we leave that window open, the cold will grow!" sahut Bella's. He left Ben for a moment.

Bella put her jacket back on. Pulling the jacket zipper up to the neck. Then do something to close the window.

With great difficulty Bella pushed the closet to cover the window. Fortunately, the girl was not weak. He has adequate energy. Because of this effort, the window can now be closed.

Bella grunts in relief. He immediately turned around and approached Ben. How shocked Bella was, when she saw Ben was already curled up on the floor.

"Hold on! I'm sure the rescue team will be here as soon as possible" Bella said, opening her jacket. Then bring Ben into the arms.

Bella let Ben's head lean to the chest. He tried to provide the maximum possible warmth.

Ben felt his body stiff. Despite that, she tried to wrap her hands around Bella's body. Ben did it so he could get more warmth. In the end, the man drowned his face into Bella's cleavage.
