Chapter 25 - Become Your Helper Again

Lucky entered the bathroom. He was in front of the mirror. Tidy up the clothes that are being worn.

Suddenly Liam came over. He gave urgent news.

"Lucky! They're coming!" liam exclaimed in a state of enlarged pupils.

Without a second thought, Lucky rushed out. Then join the others to the terrace of the building. There was a large group of criminals who came by car. They are a gang of mobsters called The Skull. He was led by a man named Jack.

It just so happens that Lucky and the other members of The Dark Place often make illegal sales transactions. From drugs, children to women. Not infrequently their actions disturb other illegal businessmen. Including the big mafia organizations like The Skull.

"Hello, Lucky. We meet again. I can finally find your base. Turns out you and your comrades are nothing but useless bums." Jack moved closer to Lucky.

"Good, Jack!" reply Lucky while gritting his teeth. He had a gun in his pocket.

Instead of being afraid, Jack laughed. Then raise one of his hands. He gave the code to his men.

Lucky and his friends frowned. They don't understand Jack's actions.

"I've found out a lot about you. First, your shabby base. Second, about your skills. Third, your weakness." Jack developed a satisfied smile. Look at Lucky lightly. "I'm glad to know the third information. But to be honest, I doubt it if I don't try it. Will it really work?"

Lucky is upset with Jack. He immediately picks up a gun and intends to shoot Jack and his accomplice.

Not yet had time to pull the trigger, Jack's men played jazz music for Lucky. That's when Lucky's move had to stop. He was on the spot with a gun.

All Lucky colleagues, don't accept. They immediately attacked. Shoot Jack and his members without any help from Lucky.

All members of The Dark Place know very well about how much Lucky hates jazz. So they get upset when Jack tries to tease Lucky with the music.

The fight happened. Shooting was carried out by two opposing sides. One to five people try to protect and take Lucky away.

Sean drags Lucky into the building. He intends to tell Lucky not to get into a fight.

Lucky closed his eyes. Jazz music that sounds has not been stopped, success makes it have to go. Now the one who took over his body is Ben.

"Shut up here! Me and the others will be back!" said Sean. Then move on.

Ben spread his gaze to all directions. It's not the first time he's been at The Dark Place. He was always upset if he had to accept the reality. The thing Ben hated the most was pretending to be Lucky.

"Damn! I'm here again." Ben complained while rubbing his face rough. Then I walked away to find a way out.

Ben initially intended to go through the front door. But witnessing the commotion, he tried to find another exit.

Bella, who was locked up in a dark room, did not stop banging on the door and shouted. He tried to ask for help as much as possible.

"Please! Please! Someone, whoever it is?" call Bella. But no one said it. The girl snorted violently. He leaned his head against the door. I hope someone will help.

The door suddenly moved. Sounds like someone entered the key. Bella's eyes automatically popped. Slowly the iron door in front of him opened.

As a result of being too happy, Bella immediately hugged the figure who had released her. He is none other than Ben.

"Thank you.." said Bella sincerely. His eyes closed tightly.

Ben freezes over Bella's embrace. He blinked his eyes awkwardly. Then pull Bella away from him.

"Doctor? Is that you?" ask Ben. He did not think that the person he had saved was Bella.

"Don't come any closer! What do you want this time, Lucky?!" timpal Bella's. He concluded that the person before him was still Lucky.

"I'm Ben! We gotta get out of here." Ben doesn't care about Bella's cautious attitude. He just left.

I don't know how many times Bella had to be flabbergasted about Ben's attitude. But he had to follow the man. Both are looking for a way out.

Unbeknownst to Bella and Ben, Jack secretly follows behind. Luckily Jack had only a knife. It seems he is intending to confront Lucky.

Bella and Ben made it through the back door of the building. It is situated opposite the Hudson River.

"Look! there's boats. We can just go through the water." Bella exclaimed as she pointed at the ship by the river.

"No! Let's just find a car!" reject Ben indifferently. He turned his body. The same thing Bella did. But their steps stopped when they saw Jack was ready to attack.

Without saying anything, Jack ran over to Ben whom he must have thought was Lucky. The man wearing the fedora hat aimed the knife smartly.

Ben tries to avoid Jack's attack as much as possible. Unknowingly, Ben moved back and cornered to the river bank.

"I'm gonna kill you, Lucky! You and The Dark Place are just a bunch of parasites for the crime world!" added Jack. He pointed a knife in Ben's eye. That's when Ben held it in his best. Adu strength occurs. Both Ben and Jack are determined to beat each other.

Ben was running out of energy. His feet moved backwards. A little bit more Ben's going to fall into the river.

Watching Ben being pushed, Bella took the initiative to help. He tries to find a useful object to attack Jack from behind.

"Damn! Why do I always end up saving her?" muttered Bella who was feeling annoyed. "When he always ignored and treated me as he pleased" he continued. He found a baseball bat.

Bella runs to help Ben. Before he arrived, Ben seemed to have fallen into the river.

The incident of Ben's fall makes Jack smile with satisfaction. But it did not last long, because Bella directly hit Jack's head with all her might. In an instant, Jack was unconscious. The man fell on his stomach on the ground.

Bella grunts in relief. He quickly threw the baseball bat to the ground. Then check on Ben. Surprisingly, Ben did not appear to come to the surface.

"Ben!" call Bella while watching the area of the river where Ben fell.

"Ben?!" Bella is getting overwhelmed with anxiety. "Don't tell me you can't swim?" his question still got no answer.

"Ah... I have to intervene again?" Bella has no choice but to save Ben. He immediately took off his jacket, then threw himself into the river.

The cold water binds directly to the white skin of Bella. The girl dived while circulating her gaze. Until he managed to find Ben who seemed to expand to the bottom of the river.

Without further ado, Bella rushes to catch Ben. He put all his energy into bringing Ben to the surface. Honestly, Ben's body is heavy. Moreover, the man was in an unconscious state.

With great determination, Bella had great success reaching the surface of the river. He immediately pulled Ben to the edge.

"Ben!" Bella pats Ben's cheek. But the man was unconscious. Bella eventually had to intervene to do first aid. It is by giving artificial breath.

As a result, Bella pressed her lips to Ben's mouth. Next he pressed Ben's chest many times.

The first experiment did not go smoothly. Making Bella once again has to give a second artificial breath.

Ben opened his eyes wide. He felt his lips coming into contact with something chewy and warm. Somehow Ben felt he had found a lost memory. A flash of past memories flashed through his mind. It's about the girl who saved him in the past.

"Uhuk! Uhuk!" Ben couldn't help but cough. Automatic water spout out of his mouth. Now Bella is relieved.

From behind, one by one the members of The Dark Place arrived. One of them managed to see the help Bella did to Ben.
