Chapter 40 - Unraveling Ben's Past [3]

Bella opened the box she was carrying from the mental hospital. There was nothing important there other than a little notebook. There are two photographs between the books.

One of them is a picture of Ben's family. The photo was deliberately torn. So that the person in the photo only looks Ben and his mother. Ben looks like a kid in the picture.

Bella's forehead is wrinkled. He feels no stranger to the little version of Ben. Bella tried to dig her memory well. But Cecil's words made him have to stop remembering.

"I suddenly felt sorry for Ben. He must have suffered a lot since he was a child" Cecil added, repairing his glasses.

"You're right, behind his arrogant attitude there's a lot of pent-up sadness." Bella responds to Cecil's words.

"Hello.." scolds Brian. Intentionally destroying the atmosphere. "Why did you suddenly become emotional. It's very annoying," he added, shaking his head.

Bella and Cecil did not expect Brian's complaint. They chose to refocus on looking at the belongings of Ben's late mother.

In addition to the family photos, there are other photos that Bella found. It's a picture of Elly with a mysterious woman. Fortunately, there is a name on the back of the photo.

"Sabrina Felice's. I feel familiar with this name." Bella once again pours into her memory.

After remembering for quite a while, Bella finally found an answer. Apparently Sabrina was a well-known psychiatrist from Manhattan in her time. Bella immediately remembered, because she had brought David therapy there.

"Brian, please find out Sabrina's address now. Maybe he can help" Bella said.

"Okay, that's easy." Brian immediately struggled with laptops and the internet.

Bella was busy looking at Ben's photos as a child. Ben's question about the city of Manhattan the other day, makes Bella slowly remember something.

While living in Manhattan, Bella often went to the lake with David. That's when he accidentally meets Ben. Their meeting happened because of a precarious situation.

Ben almost drowned in the lake. Bella, who happens to pass by, becomes Ben's only savior.

"I didn't expect, Ben turned out to be that kid..." Bella was astonished by the reality she was receiving now.

"What's? What was? Who are you talking about?" asked Brian who was curious by Bella's ambiguous expression.

"I'll explain later. Now all I want is to see Ben." Bella takes the bag and leaves the apartment.

Brian and Cecil live together in an apartment. Seeing the departure of Bella who was in a hurry, they just looked at each other.

"Sometimes Bella doesn't realize how ambitious she is" Brian commented. He felt tired of witnessing Bella's persistence.

"You're right, no wonder the name Red Rose is increasingly trusted by many people. In one day, we see about dozens of patients who sign up." Cecil took a heavy breath. He leaned his back against the sofa.

This time Brian did not respond at all to Cecil's words. He was busy talking on the phone.

"All right, sweetheart. I'll go get you, okay?" brian said that sounded like he was talking to his girlfriend.

Cecil rolled his puffed-up eyeballs. Somehow he always hated the attitude of Brian who often bergonta changing girlfriend. Or without Cecil realizing it, he had put his heart to Brian.

Before seeing Ben, Bella called first. He wanted to tell her his arrival.

"Ben, you're not busy, are you? There's something I want to talk about" Bella said.

Bella is in a taxi. He was drowning in memories of the past. Bella recalls the first time she met Ben.

Not felt, Bella has arrived at the destination. He rushed to Ben's apartment.

"Hello, Doctor." Hearing a different greeting, Bella now knows that Lucky has taken over Ben's body.

Lucky smiled until his teeth were neat. She quickly pulls Bella into the apartment.

Lucky threw Bella against the wall. And then lock him up with both hands.

"You owe me, Doctor. Did you forget?!!!" Lucky glared sharply. The tone of his speech sounded so sad. Bella even got aghast.

"Oh-of course I didn't forget." Bella tries to calm down.

"So, are you willing to work with me?" ask Lucky. The anger is starting to subside.

Bella closed her eyes. He nodded his head. Bella had no other choice.

Lucky automatically releases Bella. Then step into the middle room. There was Stacy lying unconscious on the floor.

"What the fuck! Is he dead?!" timpal Bella's. When I saw Stacy.

"Yes, he's dead. Soon my comrades will come to get rid of him." Lucky looks calm. He rinsed his body into the bathroom. Then it came out again when his body was clean.

Bella is glued to see Lucky's state. There was a picture in his head of Ben's bare-chested figure.

Bella's pupils dilated, as she recalled what happened at Jennifer's party. He reflexively held his intimate organs. However, Bella is not sure if she and Ben are actually having sex. Moreover, the attitude of Ben last time was fairly ordinary. To be honest, Bella's memory is still faint.

"I was too emotional at the time. Because Ben had never chosen a female psychiatrist before. So I'm playing a little bit with you. But apparently, you're not an easy opponent. That's why I'm inviting you to cooperate." Lucky gave me a reason.

"Whatever." Bella turned the puffed-up eyeball. His attenuation continued to point towards Stacy's corpse which was still on the floor. He felt uncomfortable seeing it.

"Who exactly is this woman? It's weird that Ben would let her in here." Benak Bella wondered.

"That's what I asked you about earlier." It turns out not only Bella is curious, but also Lucky. The two do not know that Ben is plagued by problems falling in love.
