Chapter 8 - Ben Mayers

A man walks into Bella's apartment. He is none other than Ben Mayers. The man Bella met in Alfred's office.

"Hello, Mister. Please comein..." Cecil, who doesn't know who Ben is, tries to welcome him kindly.

Bella is busy. He doesn't know what to do. Whether banishing or accepting Ben's arrival, both feel wrong for Bella.

Without a word, Ben sneered past Cecil. His attenuation is directed towards Bella. Ben seemed to remember Bella's face.

Ben watched Bella from head to toe. The girl's appearance was very different than before. Not to mention the state of Brian and Cecil, who look equally shabby.

Not long after, an old man appeared from behind the door. His name is Jimmy. Private secretary Ben. It just so happens that Jimmy will help Ben to have a consultation.

"I'm Doctor Red Rose!" bella said while putting her hands on her chest.

Ben rounded his eyes. His face looks surprised. Ben doesn't believe Red Rose's doctor is the girl he sees now. 'It's so inappropriate!' that was the comment that immediately came to Ben's mind.

"You're Doctor Red Rose. I'm sorry, you and I didn't recognize you. We're..." Jimmy was confused to continue.

"It's okay. I-i understand. Please sit!" Bella who can understand the awkward atmosphere, tries to be as friendly as possible. Even as Ben continued to cast serious gazes.

"thank you. Please, Mr..." Jimmy lets Ben sit down first. Next, he sat down.

Ben moved his eyeballs toward Jimmy. With just a look, Jimmy understood what to do. The point is Ben told him to talk right away.

Meanwhile in the kitchen. Cecil eavesdropped while making drinks for guests. A few moments later Brian joined her.

"You see that?" cetus Brian peeked into the living room. The place where Bella, Ben and Jimmy are.

"Yes, of course. Bella's right! Ben Mayers is terrible. I hope Bella isn't willing to go to therapy with him. We could be tormented." Cecil spoke in a soft tone. The tea has been made. Now he just needs to present it to Ben and Jimmy.

"My master always sleeps in his apartment room. But he often finds himself waking up somewhere else. In addition, he also had multiple cuts and bruises for no apparent reason. Never one time-"

Bella nodded her head. He sank into silence. Bella's thinking about finding out. He suspects Ben has a multiple personality disorder. But before concluding, Bella tried to give some questions first.

Bella looked back at Ben. He was ready to ask the man a question. Bella picked up a checklist book with a pen.

"Ben, this time I want you to answer. You're ready, aren't you?" ask Bella. Ben just nodded while still putting on a flat face mimic. The man was very talkative.

"Okay, have you ever gotten a mysterious message from someone? A message that feels like a stranger, but she knows you very well." Bella stared as she blinked her eyes a few times.

Ben who had been leaning back, slowly sat up straight. He put both his hands up on his thighs. Ben leaned his face toward Bella. Now the blue bead can be clearly seen by Bella.

"Can you just get to the point? You must have been able to deduce the illness I suffered, right?" concluded Ben. His eyes look so sharp. It's like eating Bella alive.

Bella doesn't care. He smiled and replied, "OK, it seems you already know that you have multiple personality disorder. Have you ever had therapy with another doctor before? Because when I looked at your data, I didn't find any medical history."

"Jimmy!" call Ben while leaning back. He told his secretary to explain. Any more...

"Master kept secret the meetings of the disease he suffered, Doctor. That's why he wanted to see you." Jimmy explained.

"I understand. But isn't it hard to cover? Moreover, your name is quite well known to many people, Mr. Mayers." Bella looked at Ben again.

Ben turned the puffed-up eyeball. She hated the bold attitude Bella showed. Unlike Jimmy, who actually felt amazed by Bella. How not? Just this time he found a psychiatrist who was patient with Ben's attitude. Even so, Jimmy did not want to jump to conclusions too soon. He'll make sure Bella's performance first.

"What's his name, Ben? You should also tell me what your other personality attitude is. Okay?" Bella knows how to deal with an angry patient. This is by giving the patient what they want. And most importantly, do not provoke angry people with anger.
