Chapter 42 - Lucky Is A Monster!

"Arrgh..." Lucky reflex groans when Bella treats a wound in her calf. The wound itself was quite severe, as Lucky's skin was slightly torn apart. It shows the deep flesh that continues to seep blood.

"Your wounds seem to have to be sewn. If not, then the wound will get wider." Bella looked at Lucky. Ask for consent before acting.

"Just do whatever. Hurry up!!" said Lucky who was overwhelmed with pain.

Bella immediately picked up a tool to stitch up the wound in Ben's calf area. Fortunately, he had bought all the P3K equipment in the mini market.

Carefully, Bella sews up the wound on Lucky's calf. Then he gave the medicine again. Then it was wrapped in bandages.

"It's over." Bella rubbed both her hands. He snorted in relief when he could treat many people.

Everyone took time to rest. They wait until they feel well enough. While Bella, she was seen washing her hands with a puddle of ice water outside.

"Lucky, I originally did hate Doctor Red. But it seems like his presence is very useful for us" Sean said as he inched closer to Lucky.

Upon arrival at the headquarters, Lucky and the others immediately rested. Now their new headquarters is a third-story building. The first floor appears to be filled with dim light as in a bar.

Bella follows Lucky. He wants to talk more. Especially about Ben's past that Lucky knew.

"You should change your bandage. Let me change it," added Bella. He looks like he's got a new bandage for Lucky.

"Didn't the band have just been replaced?" hatch Lucky with a frown.

"Let's see!" Bella points at Lucky's injured calf. The bandage that is attached appears reddish in color. Lucky has no choice but to. He sat down and pulled out his injured leg.

"I've advised all your friends to go to a more expert doctor. To the nearest clinic or hospital. You have to, too," said Bella, opening the bandage at Lucky's feet. Then replace it with a new one.

Silence occurs in a moment. Bella tried to muster up the courage to ask. At the right time, he finally spoke.

"Does that mean you hate your mother too?" respond Lucky.

"Also?" There was one word that caught Bella's attention. But that is not enough to reach a definite conclusion. "I hate him a little. But that doesn't mean I'm going to scold or beat him when I meet" he explained.

"You should have just killed him. Exactly what I did," Lucky said. Causing Bella's eyes to fall apart.

"You-you.. killed your mother?" Bella stunned.

"Right, I used to be very good at pretending to be Ben. Just stay acting like a fool." Lucky finally got hooked to tell him everything.

"Ben and I were always alone. I always tried to help her at first, but when one day I found out she wanted to get rid of me, I didn't accept. That's why I'm showing myself to everyone. Including you," Lucky said at length.

"But..." Bella is speechless. He wanted to say everything Lucky had done was wrong. Lucky shouldn't have killed a lot of people. Especially if those people's mistakes aren't big.

"What if your mother is innocent? Why don't you ever think that she-"

"What's that?" bella asked as she watched the suitcase held by Lucky's colleague.

"Our money coffers. The murders we did always turn a profit. We're going to sell it on the dark web" said Lucky's colleague, Riley.

"Open the case, Riley! It looks like the Doctor wants to see it!" lucky's Order.

Riley unzipped the suitcase. A piece of human flesh covered in blood.

"Byhurrah!" Bella reflex closes her eyes. It was outrageous for him. Sadistic, so sadistic! He did not expect to be able to meet a human who could do that.

From Bella's observation, the body in the suitcase is Stacy. The body of the woman he saw in Ben's apartment. Now Bella at least knows how Lucky got rid of the people she killed. That is by being sold to illegal websites that are often called the dark web.

Lucky and his friends laughed when Bella was scared. The nausea enveloped Bella. He's not strong anymore. Until the liquid from his stomach just came out.

"Hurry close and take the suitcase away. Doctor Red can't take it anymore" Lucky said.

Bella held her stomach. After seeing how Lucky's world was, he suddenly made up his mind. Bella will improve Lucky's point of view. Nah! Not just Lucky. Except for everyone in The Dark Place. Bella doesn't want more victims. Bella just needs to find a weak point that can be exploited.

"Wow, you guys are amazing..." Bella's trying to be okay. Though what was in his mind there was nothing else but wanting to hurry home.

"Do you like that, Doctor? You're not scared? Lucky happens to kill women more often than men" he exclaimed. Trying to scare Bella. She was satisfied to see Bella scared.
