Chapter 1: The Reject

Steven Dexon Arcilles, a young entrepreneur who managed to develop his own company into the number one big company in the world.Many rivals and his business partners are envious of the success of a Steven.

Like tonight, Steven is again crowned as the most successful young entrepreneur. Many were amazed at her, especially the women. Because in addition to being young and rich, Steven also has a handsome face and has an athletic posture.

"Congratulations on your success Mr. Steven" said one of Steven's business associates.

Steven simply smiled and accepted the hand job of his business partner. This is a very remarkable achievement. At least this is the result of his efforts after getting betrayal from his best friend a few years ago which caused his efforts to drop drastically.

"Look!! until whenever I'll stay above you. As hard as you try to destroy me, I'll rise and become stronger." Steven's inner.

"Goodbye." a beautiful woman walked up to Steven.

Steven twisted his body, his lips expanding as the woman got closer."Thanks Jenni, I'm glad you came."

"Of course I'll come. It's an important event and I can't possibly miss it."

"You're the best, baby." Steven kissed Jennifer's lips softly.

All women can only bite their fingers to see the intimacy of the two men. It's no secret that Jennifer Laurent is Steven's girlfriend. They have been in a relationship for 5 years.

"After this I have a surprise for you." whispered Steven.

''yes? what'sthat?"

"You'll find out later, I'm sure you'll be happy."

"I can't wait to see that." Jennifer smiled and hugged Steven's arm. He accompanied the man to greet his business partner.

It was getting late and Steven had promised Jennifer a surprise for the woman, so Steven asked for his personal assistant, James Alonso to continue the show as he will be leaving the show with Jennifer.

Steven clasped Jennifer's hand while waiting for the driver to arrive. "I'm very impatient said Steven.

Jennifer laughed. He felt funny about what Steven said, shouldn't he be the one who said that?

"You make me even more curious about the surprise you're about to give me, baby."

"Surely it won't disappoint you dear." again Steven kissed Jennifer's soft lips. He really is a guy who doesn't know where to make out.

The driver came and opened the car door for Steven and Jennifer. They went to a fancy restaurant that Steven had booked and decorated so elegantly and beautifully .

"Gee... It's beautiful, did you do it?" jennifer asked as they entered the restaurant.

"Of course." Steven replied proudly. But Jennifer clucked in disbelief.

"It's fine I confess, James did all this, but it's all on my orders. Are you satisfied, hm?"

Jennifer smiled and kissed Steven's lips at a glance. "I'm very satisfied. Thank you dear."

"Whatever to you, honey."

They sat in the prepared chair. Steven clapped his hand and before long, a waiter came to bring a bunch of roses and gave them to Steven.

Jennifer smiles and receives the flowers Steven gave her. "Thanks." -."

Some waiters came to serve food and drinks for both. The atmosphere of the dinner was more romantic when accompanied by the sound of violin music.

"Do you like it?" ask Steven.

"Very. I don't know if you can be this romantic.''

"Hey..I've been romantic for a long time." Steven said.

"Yes yes, it's up to you Mr. Steven. So, is there another surprise for me?"

"Of course." Steven took Jennifer to his feet and then the man knelt down and pulled out a box of red tadpoles.

"You're right, I'm not a romantic guy. I can't even put together beautiful words for you. But one thing you should know. I'm serious about you Jenny. So, Will you marry me?"

Jennifer closed her mouth in surprise. "Steve.." - Jennifer.

"Jenny, you want to, right?"

"Ma_I'm sorry Steve, I can't."

Steven's heart ached hearing the rejection of the lover. "Why?"

"You know I really want to be a famous model. If I marry you, it's the same as burying my ideals."

Steven stood up and looked at Jennifer with dewy eyes. "So, you choose to pursue your ideals or mine, your lover?"

"I'm sorry Actually I really wanted to tell you this from yesterday but you're always busy. Today I'm going to Paris to audition for models."

"I don't know how long I'll be gone, so don't wait for me."

Steven clenched his hand. Her heart ached, she had everything ready to propose to Jennifer but what? He refused her.

Steven took a long breath. The originally silent gaze now turned sharp.

"So you chose your career?" steven asked but Jennifer did not answer. He could only keep quiet.

"Go!! I won't stand in your way." Steven said loudly. He did not want to look fragile in front of the woman.

"I'm sorry Steve." Jennifer leaves Steven standing stiff in the restaurant. He knew it hurt. But from the beginning Steven knew if he really wanted to become a famous model.

After Jennifer's departure, Steven seemed to lose his way. He came out of the restaurant with a shackle. None of his men dared to hinder him. But they were watching Steven from a distance. Let their boss calm his mind first, they thought.

"Models? heh..what good is it to be a model? let's see, honey, how long you've survived away from me." Steven sneered.
