Chapter 57: The Happy End

Steven ran and prepared to shoot Leo. But unfortunately the man realized her, she dodged and hid.

Steven kept shooting at Leo's hideout until the bullet ran out. He throws his gun and challenges Leo.

"Get out you bastard!! Don't be a coward." shouts Steven

Leo cussed. He did not expect that this fast would have to face Steven.

"Don't you want that chip, motherfucker?" steven again

Leo clenched his hands and came out of his hiding place. He stared intently at his former best friend with hatred.

"Who are you calling a coward, huh?" shouted Leo

"Of course you are. Cheating for profit, stabbing your best friend just out of envy and hiding when dealing with your opponent. Doesn't that prove you're a coward?"

Leo clenched his hands and ran to attack Steven. "I'm not a coward, damn it!!!"

There was a fierce fight between the two. Leo continued to attack Steven very brutally. He did not accept being insulted by his former best friend. After all he had to get the chips that were now in Steven's hands.

He no longer cares about Jennifer, all he has in mind is his property.

While outside, the shootout was won by Steven's men. All of Leo's men died, not left. They collected the bodies of the enemy and also their comrades who died in the room in the building.

And one of them, pulls Jennifer in and takes her in to meet Leo who is currently dealing with their Master.

"Akh...!!!" Leo fell for the umpteenth time. Fresh blood came out of his mouth and nose. All over his body there was a bruise wound from the blow that Steven delivered when he beat Leo.

"Wake up!!! Fight me, Leo!!!" shouts Steven

Leo grimaced holding his chest which was painful due to kicks and punches from Steven. He tried to get up but both of his legs trembled as if unable to support his body.

"L_L!!" exclaim Jennifer. He was pulled by Steven's men and pushed to the ground in front of Steven.

"Leo!!!"

"Jenny!!"

"Well, you guys look like lovers separated a long time ago and reunited." Steven squatted down in front of Jennifer and said, "Look at the man you're proud of, Jenny. He's powerless. I don't think, why did you betray me for a guy like Leo? In any case, I'm superior to that bastard."

"At least he's more powerful in bed than you can't even satisfy me." cried Jennifer

Instead of being angry, Steven laughed out loud. She gripped Jennifer's chin and said, "It's not me who can't satisfy you, Jenny. But because you are a way9 who thirsts for caresses. I'm sure it's not just Leo who touches you. You must be willing to spread both your legs just for the money. I'm right, aren't I?"

Jennifer stared at Steven hatefully. Begging is useless, because he believes his life will not be safe.

"Poor." Steven took off his rough grip and made Jennifer fall down.

Leo who saw it could only clench his hands. But a second later, he laughed out loud, leaving Steven and the others feeling puzzled.

"Do you know what, Steve? I'm a loser. And a loser won't just lose." exclaimed Leo

"What do you mean?" ask Steven

"Do you not realize where your servant is, hm? I'm sure now he's confused about not being able to save his parents. And if I die, I won't die alone. I'll take you all with me. Ha ha - ha..."

"I'm so sorry I haven't had the time to enjoy that servant's body. Just imagining it has made my desire peak. His body, his lips and...." Leo hung his speech. He looked at the angry Steven and continued, "his chest is so chewy when it comes into my mouth."

"Buck !!!" Steven grabs a gun belonging to his men and shoots Leo brutally.

"SIMPLINGS!!!" Jennifer hysterically sees her lover die horribly. He crawled closer to the lifeless Leo. "Leo hicks.. Hix... Wake Leo!!!" Jennifer was crying, she stared hard at Steven who had killed her lover.

"I'll kill you, damn it!!!"

James unbinds Robert and Jully. Afterwards, she pressed on Jully's shoes and asked the woman to take off her shoes.

"Come mom!! You can." exclaimed Kate

Slowly but surely, Jully pulled her legs slowly, and succeeded. Everyone was relieved. Now just find a way to override the shoes to keep pressing the mines. But unfortunately there is no heavy object that can be made a tool to overwrite the shoe.

"How now?" Kate bit her fingernails. He should have looked for the ballast tool first before acting. While in the room there was not a single heavy object to hit Jully's shoes. There's no way he'd let James continue like that, would he?

"Let me replace it." Robert pressed the shoe with both hands and asked Jully and the others to leave.

"A_what do you mean, Robert? We'll get out of here together." Jully exclaimed.

"No dear. If one of us doesn't do this, we won't be able to get out of here alive. Think of this as my apology to you. All this time I've been making you suffer. So let me make amends for my mistakes."

Jully could not help but cry. He hugged Robert with tears. Although he hated Robert for making his daughter a criminal, but still at the bottom of his heart, he loved the man with the head of the plontos.

"You'll forgive me, won't you?"

Jully nodded quickly. Robert drew his face closer and kissed Jully's eyes. "Next of this, never cry again. And one thing you should know. I love you so much, Jully."

Jully's getting hysterical. She stood up and hugged Kate because she could not see her husband.

"Bring your mother away Kate. You guys have to survive. Don't let my sacrifice go to waste." exclaimed Robert

"Ba_baik Uncle's. Ma_forgive me. And thank you, Daddy." Kate pulls Jully out of the room with James trailing behind her.

Robert wept staring at the departure of Jully and Kate. He regretted his actions all along. Because of her, both women had to suffer. He doesn't even deserve to be called Daddy by Kate.

Jully is still crying in Kate's arms. They reached the ground floor right after Steven shot Leo dead.

"Steve!!" call Kate

Steven looked up and hugged Kate. "I'm so worried about you, baby. You're okay, right?" asked Steven who was answered nodding by Kate. Kate looked at Jennifer who was crying over the lifeless Leo.

"We need to get out of here before the bomb goes off" Kate exclaimed.

"All right, let's get out!!" Steven helped get Jully out. Likewise with James and the others, they also flocked out of the building.

They returned to a parked car not far from the building. "We're leaving now!!" tell Steven

"Good sir." James stomped on the accelerator leaving the location where it would be the final resting place for Leo and the others.

And not for long, there was a powerful explosion that knocked down the building.

ONE MONTH LATER

One of the luxury hotels in New York, is now the target of the media. They are neatly lined up in the building and ready to take pictures and capture sacred moments that will be held in a moment.

Today is Steven and Kate's wedding day.

They held a luxurious wedding in a star hotel. Actually Kate is not ready because the state of her mother has not recovered properly because of the kidnapping incident a month ago. Moreover, her mother had to lose the person she loved and it traumatized her.

But since the little angel has grown in Kate's womb, she can't put it off anymore. Jully also suggested for them to get married soon.

The show started. They made a sacred promise so solemnly. The cameramen immediately took their photos. Especially when they kiss.

"I Love you, my wife." - Steven

"I Love you too my husband." Kate replied. They put their lips together again.

The obstacles they went through ended in happiness, even a little angel became a complement to the happiness of the two people. Love is not giving and receiving. Just give it away. Because if we sincerely give our love, we will get the most beautiful reply in our lives. That's happiness.
