Chapter 49: The Rescue Plan

James was driving at high speed. Just now that she wants to wade through a dream, Steven suddenly contacts her and asks her to drive them to Kate's house. He glanced at Kate from the rearview mirror. And the woman looked very worried. Something seems to have happened to Kate's mother.

James's car is perfectly parked in front of Kate's house. Steven and Kate rush out of the car without waiting for James to open the door.

"Mommy!!" Kate screams at the door of her destroyed house. With a trained step he went into the house and saw his ravaged side.

"Mommy!!" Kate looks for her mother in the room, but the middle-aged woman is not there.

Steven and James checked the house. There was no sign of life there.

"Master!!" James found the blood almost dried on the floor near the door. Steven who saw that, approached James and squatted near the blood.

"It seems like it hasn't been long." exclaimed Steven.

"What are you...." Kate's words stopped when she saw blood near the door.

"Ti_impossible, i_this is impossible. Mom_mommy's chat....

"Kitty, relax!!" Steven hugged Kate who looked shocked at the sight of blood. The woman must have thought that the blood was her mother's.

"It's not necessarily your mother's blood, Kitty." Steven continued

"Ta_but Steve.." Kate's crying can't be contained anymore. She cried loudly remembering her mother.

Steven kept hugging and calming Kate. She assured me that Kate's mother was okay and that she would help Kate's mother.

After Kate is implanted, Steven asks James to check the cctv on the street near Kate's house. James is a hacker, it must be easy for him.

"We'll soon know where your mother is. And I'll help you save him. So take it easy, okay!!" exclaim Steven

Kate nodded in Steven's arms. He recalled Steven saying that Leo wanted him.

"You said Leo wanted me, didn't you?" said Kate

"Don't be determined, I won't let you meet him. I mean, we have to devise a strategy to save your mother. He wants to trade with you and Jenny. I can understand Jenny. But You? Why does he want you? If you want to do an exchange, enough with Jenny, right? And why did Leo take your mother hostage?" exclaim Steven.

Kate fell silent. What Steven said is true. Unless Leo wants to continue his desire to make love to her. But it's not possible.

Kate thought hard. It can't all be that simple. Until he remembers what Leo said about the Chip he took.

"He wants the chip." exclaimed Kate

"The chip? "

Kate walks into her room, followed by Steven. He was looking for a phone he hadn't used in a long time. And it looks like Robert is taking good care of his phone. Evidently even though the phone he lived at home, but until now the phone is still on.

Kate saw a missed call from an unknown number on her phone screen a few hours ago. And he's sure it's Leo's number. But it's not important for now. But something stored inside his phone is more important.

"What's that?" ask Steven

"This is the Chipset I accidentally took while stealing Leo's diamond. And I'm sure he wants this thing right now." exclaimed Kate

Steven took the thing out of Kate's hand. He's closely scrutinizing the chip. Looks like he should check it out first. He was curious about the contents of the chip.

"Don't you mind if I check it out first, Kitty? I'm curious about the contents of this thing. We can copy the data from this thing and use it as a weapon against Leo" Steven exclaimed

"But mommy....

"Just a minute, baby. We still have to wait for word from Leo. We also have to devise a strategy to save your mother. Don't let us lose to him."

"Yes, you're right Steve."

Steven hugged Kate again and reassured the woman that everything would be fine.

"Sir, I've got a cctv tape attached to the main road to this house" James said at the door with a laptop in his hand. She walks into Kate's room and starts fiddling with her laptop to show her the footage she got

Steven and Kate take a serious look at the footage playing on James' laptop. Two cars were seen coming into the alley to Kate's house. And they're sure, it's Leo. Moments later, the car was seen coming out of the alley.

James kept playing the tape he got. And it looks if the two cars look separate at the intersection. One car goes to the right. The other car is to the left.

"I'm confused as to which one to follow." exclaimed James

"I think you should follow the car to the right. And I'm sure it's Kate's mother in the car." Steven exclaimed

"No!! Follow the car that turns to the left." Kate asked

Steven and James look at Kate. James had the same idea as Steven. She believes that Kate's mother was in the car that turned right because the direction of the car was clear to the city. But why would Kate want her to follow a car that turns left?

"I have a bad feeling. So follow the car that turns left." exclaimed Kate.

James complied with Kate's desire to follow the car. The car stopped in front of the alley..And the owner got out of his car.

"Leo." muttered Steven who was still heard by James and Kate. Although the person who got out of the car wearing a hat and mask, but Steven would not be mistaken if the man was his former best friend.

"If he's Leo, that's right, Miss's mother is in the other car. But why do you want me to follow this car?" ask James

"Jack." exclaimed Kate. He looked at Steven and James alternately and again said, "the car is headed for Jack's place. A mad scientist who creates something beyond human reason. He once created a deadly poison that no forensic team could identify."

"Wow.. If that's the case, isn't this very bad." exclaimed Steven

"I'm serious Steve."

"And I'm not kidding either, Kitty. So it's better now we go back and check out this chip. Then we'll devise a strategy to save your mother" Steven exclaimed
