"He's just doing his job, there's no need to punish him" Ethan spoke up.

Big Brother Geoff immediately clenched his hands together and hurriedly replied, "Thank you Big Boss! Thank you Big Boss for your forgiveness, Little Geoff here will work hard from now on!"

He's worried that if Ethan gets angry, he'll be thrown out of here!

It seemed like this Big Boss was sticking to his principles.

"Big Boss, if you want to eat here, just say, why bother with reservations?"

Tom Foster smiled as he said this, then waved his hand and Brother Geoff left with the other man.

He turned around and told the receptionist, "Tell all the other guests to leave. Their food today is all free, don't let them bother my boss to eat."

And the equipment here must be expensive!

"One of the best dishes we have!" Tom Foster instructed.

William's frozen. He knew the drinks here were expensive, so he quickly waved his hand. "I'll just drink water."

He sent out other instructions to get the best Maotai.

Tom Foster can tell from the strange expressions on William and April that they are very curious about how he is connected to Ethan.

"So don't stand at the ceremony with me at all. This restaurant is just as good as Big Boss restaurant. Whenever you want to come, just come. I will leave this room for your personal needs, and everything you eat here will always be free!"

William and April were even more astonished.

Free any?

This food will cost several thousand dollars. It's free just because he said so?

William immediately recognized the bottle of Maotai the maid had brought. Just this bottle alone is extremely expensive!

Tom Foster politely excused himself and closed the door behind him.

It was silence in the room.

William and April were so shocked that they felt numb from it.

This new daughter-in-law has sent surprise after surprise.

"Ethan, you fellow brothers in the Beggar Sect are very close huh," scowled Diane.

He's not stupid. He knows that Tom Foster and Ethan don't behave like brothers. Tom Foster obviously respects and fears Ethan!

"My wife is very smart."

Ethan won't tell her that everything Tom Foster has now been given by him. As long as Tom Foster does a good job, he will be able to have even more. So much so that he wouldn't believe it!

"Dad, Mom, don't just sit there, eat something" Ethan said with a smile.

But William and April still did not move.

Ethan also downed his glass, then poured a glass for William and April.

Ethan goes on seriously, "If you two hadn't raised such an amazing girl as Diane, I wouldn't be here today."

He downed his glass after saying that.

William and April exchanged glasses but said nothing and downed their glasses.

After two glasses of liquor, the atmosphere was not so tense anymore. William began to talk more, and began to drink vigorously.

April and Diane tried to stop him several times but eventually gave up. It was rare for William to be able to put aside his worries, so they let him take this time to really relax.

The two men chatted with great joy.

April and Diane watch Ethan and William drink and chat, and suddenly feel like the scene in front of them is heartwarming. But Ethan's not really their son-in-law.

Previously, they felt that Ethan was not good enough for Diane, so they were angry and upset.

But now, after understanding more about Ethan, they know. They're not good enough for Ethan.

"Ethan, I know you're very rich, but I hope you don't just spend money on us."

April smiled as she said this. "It's all a favor we owe you, but we're actually able to get it back."

His voice did not blame him or ridicule him, but sounded a little helpless.

They are not a greedy family.

Ethan looked at April and understood what she meant. He knew that it would not be easy to make this family accept him so quickly.

She laughs. “I've been an orphan since young. I don't have a home, so I've never eaten home-cooked food before. Now I finally have a home, so I'm very happy. As long as Mom and Dad don't chase me out, I'll listen to whatever you say."

"You're an orphan?" April suddenly felt a strong pull in her heart.

"He's an orphan, otherwise he wouldn't be homeless" Diane said.

April suddenly felt her heart go to him.

No wonder Ethan likes to eat home cooked food. He must have suffered so much pain and injustice to become so rich today.

He had no parents by his side since he was young and had to endure everything by himself. Just thinking about it made his heart ache.

"Even if you're not my daughter-in-law, you're still a good child" said April, her eyes reddened with tears.

"If you don't mind my small house, then stay here first. One day if you find a better place, then you can go!"

"Let's drink!"

William raised his glass.

Ethan also raised his glass. He could sense that this family was starting to change their attitude towards him.

He knew that Diane and family were not greedy people. Even they are the opposite. They are very kind and naive, and very worthy of protection.

There is only one thing that makes April wrong. Ethan has no intention of leaving at all. This is his home!
