Chapter 38
The night slowly subsided.
Everything becomes peaceful again, but Ethan knows that it is the beginning of a riot.
He lies on the floor, but Ethan knows Diane is still awake.
"Don't go to the site tomorrow. Go shopping with Mum and buy some clothes and health supplements."
"Why?"
Diane turns around, but she can't see Ethan's face clearly in the dark. "What about you?"
"I'm going to the site."
Dian paused for a moment. "For what?"
He is the person in charge overall, while Ethan has nothing to do with this project, so what will he do there?"
"There's some trash I need to clean up for you" Ethan replied calmly.
The next day, William woke up early.
He took a shower and shaved, then changed into a nice shirt he hadn't worn in a long time. He unlocked his bookshelf, pulled out the dusty business-related documents he had and began studying them very seriously in front of the balcony.
April had absolutely no idea what was happening, and she felt William had become a different person.
Highlight his eyes, the way he carried himself, and even his expression was completely different.
He became a little worried.
The night before, Ethan tells him that he will get a new William from today onwards, but what exactly happened?
"Mom, Diane will go shopping with you today, to buy some clothes and health supplements."
Ethan takes breakfast off the table, eats while out the door. "Dad has to revise things, so don't bother him."
Soon, the sound of the car starts outside, and Ethan leaves.
Diane walked out of the room, her face helpless.
Ethan doesn't allow her to go to the site and says she should go shopping with April, as if that's more important than anything.
"Mom, after breakfast I'll go shopping with you. We haven't been shopping for a long time."
"What to buy? I don't have anything to buy."
April quickly added, "It's just a waste of money!"
Although he had received those five million, but to him, it was money that he had returned to Greencliff Bank sooner or later.
"We should... If we don't buy anything today, Ethan says he'll go buy it after he gets back."
Diane pouts.
After returning from the bank that day, he goes online to check out what is special about Ethan's black card. He had just sat there in shock for an hour after he found out.
He doesn't believe at all. Ethan is IT rich!
"Mom, if you don't buy some clothes today, Ethan will definitely buy the entire shopping complex for you to choose from," Diane said helplessly.
Ethan would be capable of such a thing.
"It's fine then."
April won't let Ethan waste any more money, so she decides to buy some clothes at a discount.
......
At the factory construction site.
With the help of an additional 68 workers, work is going much faster than ever before.
In addition, these hooligans work extra hard.
Diane has given instructions to make sure that food is provided for them, to make sure they have enough food and strength to work. There was even dessert and fruit for them.
When these hooligans saw this, their eyes were all red and almost crying.
They had worked so hard for John Howard, but had never been treated like this before!
For the first time in their lives, they no longer think that working and making a living on their own is difficult, and there is even dignity in doing so.
Ethan sits in the car listening to music and waits quietly.
Shortly after, several large buses stopped at the factory entrance, and a large group of people rushed out of the bus.
"A bunch of useless things!"
John Howard walked right in front and saw that his men were actually working on the site and was furious, his face all red. "The useless stuff! You all really embarrassed me!"
"What's the point of feeding you all? In the end you are very weak, you move concrete on the construction site! How humiliating!"
He continued to shout furiously, "Why are you all just standing there? Get back here now!"
The hooligans working at the construction site were surprised to see John Howard actually show up.
Is he here to save them?
Judging from John Howard's expression and how he brought so many men, he wasn't here to save them at all. He was angry that they had humiliated him, and he was here to make trouble for them.
All their hearts became colder.
When he needed to pay to redeem them, John Howard did not say a word because he could not bear to part with the money.
Now that his pride was at stake, he came shouting at them. Does he really think of them as dogs?
To be on the beck and his call?
