The Billionaire God of War
Chapter 55

Chapter 55

Dian frozen. Ethan wasn't kidding?

He knows Ethan is very rich, so starting a company isn't a big deal for him. But this is totally unexpected.

Moreover, how would he return this much money?!

Diane was still doubtful. Ethan must be kidding with her. Even with one project he had, it wasn't enough to start a company for it, was it?

Ethan doesn't explain any further and takes Diane home.

April is making lunch, and Ethan can smell the sweet scent of ribs as he steps into the house.

He had just casually said that he wanted to eat sweet vinegar ribs in the morning, and April actually made it in the afternoon. Mom was so good to him!

"Eat time!"

April brought the cooked dishes out of the kitchen and glanced at her room. "Diane, call your father to eat. He had been studying all of this material lately, as if he didn't need to sleep or eat."

Diane walks into the room and finds William sitting in his wheelchair with some business-related documents in front of him. It's all from when he was still working, and he tried to get his touch back by reading it all.

"Dad," call Dian.

William turned around and smiled, "What's the matter? You look troubled."

"From today onwards, our family will have nothing to do with the Palmers."

Diane didn't want to talk about what really happened in the office earlier. Otherwise, William would have angrily searched for Steven to try to reason with him, but there was no meaning in doing so.

After hearing what Diane said, William did not have a strange expression on his face, as if he had already expected this to happen. He just nodded, "Yes. Our family is just our family, and we have nothing to do with the Palmer family."

"Let's eat."

Diane pushed William out.

At the dinner table, Ethan happily picks up the rice and starts eating, ignoring all the formalities.

Diane rolled her eyes annoyed at him. "My parents haven't sat at the table!"

"It's okay, Ethan has been working tirelessly all morning, let him eat first," William smiled.

"Look at how my mom and dad love me" Ethan smiles happily at Diane. "Don't be jealous of me."

Diane sneers. He's really a little jealous.

Ethan just set foot in their house. At first he comes across as a useless man who has been forced into marriage with their family, so April can't stand him and William hates him. But in almost a month's time, he had practically become their biological son.

"Dad, just to tell you,"

Ethan turned to look at William, "Tomorrow, our new Palmer Group is about to open for business. You'll be the chairman, and Diane will be the general manager."

"What's? New Palmer Group?"

William had just picked up his chopsticks, and now he was about to drop them again to the floor.

New Palmer Group?

He hurriedly turned to look at Diane, and Diane could only nod her head. Ethan never discussed with her before doing anything. All he did was announce the results of what he had done.

"So the father and daughter have to work hard."

Ethan went on seriously, "Whether this new Palmer Group will succeed or not, it depends on both of you. So you have to prove it yourself."

William took a deep breath and his eyes immediately glazed over. Prove itself? He had waited his whole life for a chance to prove himself.

And now Ethan has put this opportunity right in front of him!

He was so touched that he could not immediately reply.

"But of course,"

Ethan sees April walking over and quickly says a few words to her, "Our family needs Mum to lead us and work hard together!"

"Eat your baby ribs!"

Diane glared at Ethan and spilled pig ribs into her bowl.

This guy is a sweet talker, so good at knowing exactly what to say to whom.

Ethan doesn't care, as long as their mother is happy to hear it.

They all sat down to eat happily.

William was still very excited and did not know what to say. So after eating, she returned to the room to continue her revision.

Diane goes to help April wash the dishes while Ethan watches TV on the couch.

"Diane, Ethan's not bad at all."

April says this while washing dishes.

Diane turned to look at him, "Mom, don't be fooled by him. We barely knew him!"
