Arc 1 Chapter 42: The Profound Codex
Liz POVs
“When a knight breaks his vow, then he no longer has the right to be called a knight,” Rolf said explaining some things about knights to Liz.
Liz and Rolf had just finished lunch on the riverbank after Liz had managed to defeat several Drowners.
“The oath of a knight will form the core of their power called the Profound Codex,” said Rolf
The Profound Codex or PC is a soul connection with the knight's oath that will create a special mana and will make the knight stronger.
“The weaker a knight's trust in his vow, the weaker the Profound Codex the knight had,” explained Rolf who looked rather heavy when telling it to Liz.
“You must form your Profound Codex and uphold your oath as a knight if you want to be stronger by becoming a Knight,”.
“ Master, what if our trust in our vows collapses?” ask Liz.
“The worst case is, the core where the knight collapsed and could not use any more,” replied Rolf.
“Master, what do you swear to be a knight first?” ask Liz.
Rolf was silent and remembered the past events he regretted.
“ I will tell you someday.”

On the other hand, Luciel and Adel had already reached Lake Danube.
“ Receptionist says the Nymph was seen around here,” Adel said. They then walked along the shore of the lake.
“He said, already 6 hunters Rank Cooper down who did this Quest and never came back,” said Adel.
Luciel then stopped walking.
“Hmm.. What's up?” ask Adel.
“Means this is a dangerous Quest!” luciel.
“Yes, this is categorized Quest level D,” said adel.”I told you right, I have an artifact to keep – keep it quiet.”
After a while they combed the lake area, Luciel arrived – to hear a female singing. He then realized that Adel had not followed him walking and was dumbfounded.
‘He did not have time to activate his artifact’ Not long later, Luciel began to shirk and lost consciousness.

Liz POVs
“Again!”
Liz was learning the sword technique with Rolf after resting earlier. Liz attacked him with all her abilities, but Rolf managed to dodge his – attacks easily.
“You are talented using a sword, but talent alone is not cuckup,” said Rolf.
“Hahh...Hah... both Master,” Liz then back to attack Rolf by using a combination of physical attacks and magic but in vain – was in vain because Rolf easily read it.
“Fighting against humans with monsters is different,” said Rolf.
“When fighting monsters, what is needed most is power, speed, magic and more,”. “However, when fighting humans or other knights, experience and mentality will be the determinant of victory if the comparison of strength is not too far,”.
“ Again!”
“Ready!”
When Liz was about to run, but she arrived – suddenly stopped and blinked – blinks.
“Luciel activates the artifact, I think I should go Master,” Liz said.
“Lens Record, huh? What kind of picture did he send you?” ask Rolf.

I was born in the Rhine family which is a famous noble in the Kingdom of Bavaria. Many people think that being born into a noble family is a fortune. However, many people do not see the consequences of being one of them. My father was a Duke known by the nickname The Red Sun. One of the most powerful witches in the Kingdom of Bavaria. Thanks to him, Rhine Duchy became the most influential region in the Kingdom in terms of Military, Economic and Political.

Yes, I was born without magic power. Therefore, many talk that say’ Rhine Duchy will decline after the Duke because his heir can not use magic.’
“Hehh... So you are the Rhine burden that is always talked about by many people end of this –,” said one of the kidnappers. Hearing him, my body instantly shook and my heart started to darken.
“No! Don't listen to them Adel, you are our most precious daughter! Don't listen to them,” said my mother.
“Shut up!” One of the kidnappers then slapped my mother. “I think we should do something more interesting.”
They then forced me to witness a vile sight. My mother died because of the torture they had done.
“Well, now it's your turn little Rhine..”.
Seeing my mother's stiff corpse make my chest feel hot and my heart pounding so hard, I felt an unbearable anger and my body felt like it was going to explode. When the kidnappers started touching me, – arrived a fire came out of my body and a few moments later I lost consciousness.
When I regained my consciousness, the building they were holding me was burned. I saw the bodies of the kidnappers had become ashes as if burned by something, only me and my mother's body were still intact there.
Shortly after, my father and a few bodyguards came.
“I'm sorry dad you had to go through all this kid,” he said while hugging me.
After that incident, I awakened my magic talent and became one of the best young witches in the Kingdom of Bavaria.
But at this moment, I was doing an apprentice for my graduation to become an official magician. I took some Quests and one of them was the Nymph hunt. The creature has an illusory magic from their nyayian and will bring its victims into the water for them to eat as nutrients. When I started to feel something strange on my body, I tried to activate the magic artifact but it was too late. My consciousness was gone and now in front of me a visionary when my mother was tortured and abused to death occurred.
“No!!” His screaming.
“Splurrtt! Aghhh!” The sound of a sword slashing his body.
My body recollected that feeling, that unbearable feeling of anger that made my body seem to explode. But arriving – arrived, I started not being able to listen to my mother's screams and slowly the sight of my mother's torture began to disappear in my memory. I was beginning to feel my body again. When I opened my eyes, my feet were already sinking in the lake and it was seen that a – boy in front of me was fighting with a Nymph who was biting her shoulder.
“What happened?”
