Arc 1 Chapter 45: The Festival

Liz POVs

Liz and Rolf had just finished their training session in the forest and were resting under a tree.

“Master, on my way here, I fought with a Devil Cult who was a child of – children. When I was about to kill him, I was hesitant to see the age and what I would kill is a human,” said Liz. “In the end, it was Luciel who killed him and caused him to almost die,” Liz continued.

“He said, My actions like that show I still have the human morals that a true knight needs,”. Liz's voice looks regretful.”what should a real knight do when he has to choose morality with his duties as a knight?” ask Liz.

Rolf thought a little before answering.

“Liz, being a knight is not about us doing our duty well or killing the enemy in front of us,” said Rolf. “The most important thing for a knight is, how to make yourself always cling to the oath you say,” he replied. “A knight only lives to keep his vows, no less and no more,” he added.

“And my oath as a knight is …. “

Rolf then stood up after telling Liz his oath.

“Tomorrow I will be busy with something, you can rest for the festival tomorrow,” Rolf said.

When Rolf was gone, Liz was still thinking about the words – said by her Master.

“No, I don't want to. It would definitely be very embarrassing to watch by many people,” said Adel. He was in his father's room with his father and a Bishop.

“I think you should find someone else as the Goddess for Bishop Clay's show tomorrow,” Duke Lambert said.

When the priest came out of Duke Lambert's room, he began to speak seriously with his daughter.

“Adel, now that you have refused Bishop Clay's request, you must go to the capital with Zeno tomorrow,” Lambert said.

Not long after, there was someone who entered Duke Lambert's room.

The next day, Rhine City became very crowded because of the festival held today. The citizens laughed, danced and sang as if the country was not in a state of war. Luciel and Liz were at a bar and at their table 2 Knights were telling their story while exterminating the demons.

“You are all so great!” liz was amazed.

“Well, Vampires are a very difficult opponent,” said one of the Knights named Wellen.”They can regenerate and are very agile,” he added.

“Ya, “ reply his partner. “ Without him, maybe we would be very difficult to beat a Vampire.” Evidently.

“Who?” ask Liz.

“The hunter is white,” replied Wendel.

“Cool nickname,” said Luciel.

“But a few years ago, he left the Holy Knights, huh..” Wendel looks so sorry.

Luciel and Liz then went to the square – City square to enjoy the Festival after chatting with some knights.

“Come here! We have artifacts capable of rivaling the holy weapons of heroes!”

“Come on purchase! in buy! we have the latest Grimoire!”

“Hey young man! We have a blessing talisman directly from the main Temple of Geneva!”

Traders were heard attracting visitors and enlivening the atmosphere of – square. They then saw a large stage where a performance about the rise of the heroes will be held tonight.

“Hey Luciel! Liz! here!” I heard someone calling their name.

Luciel then saw Alan and the others near the stage.

“You will see the show later tonight?” ask Serlina.

“You follow me to a Horoscope Forecast that is trending late – this Liz?” bring Serlina.

“I've told Serlina, it's just – wits of them. Don't believe in – things like that,” Alan said. But Serlina ignored him.

“Alright,” replied Liz. The two of them then left 3 men there.

The three men then looked at each other.

“You see a trending power-fighting contest?” take Luciel.

They both nodded.

Liz POVs

Liz and Serlina then go to a Stall and wait in line for a horoscope. After waiting in line for a long time, they ended up in the presence of an old woman carrying a ball.

“Ah... hello girl – beautiful girl, what do I want to forecast about your life?” ask the old woman.

Liz and Serlina then looked at each other.

“Oh astrologer, will I be able to enter Wuttenburg Magic Tower?” ask Serlina.

“Put your hand on this magic ball,” he replied.

Serlina then put her hand on the magic ball and arrived – arrived, the magic ball was lit showing an illustration of – stars in the darkness of night.

“Hmm...You will reach your destination with the near future young girl,” said the astrologer.

“Really!?” ask Serlina back to make sure.

“Ya.. But for now, you still do not have enough determination to go there. And in the near future you will soon get that determination fufufu,” he explained.

After Serlina's turn was over, Liz came forward and put her hand on the magic ball and asked.

“Am I going to be a Knight who always keeps his vows?”

Liz then saw the illustration of the starry sky but filled with a fog. (this is Clue for some chapters later )

“Hmm... The bright star of Alea and a fog covering the sky – sky,” murmured the soothsayer.

“You will encounter a problem in this fast time, and how you solve it will affect your future later,” said the astrologer.”And for Alea's star.it's a light that will always lead you later when you find it,” the answer is ambiguous.

“What does it mean?” ask Liz to be confused.

“I only read young people, you must interpret your destiny,” he replied.

Luciel, Alan and Paul are in a juvenile tug-of-war race hosted by Duke Lambert.

“Uaghhhh!” Paul then uses all his strength and manages to make their opponent topple over because of his pull.

“Winner, Trio Cool Guy!” a referee shouted the name of their team.

“Hey what I said bang Alan, this is an embarrassing name!” Luciel Protest.

“Hehh... You don't know whose name is Baciel trend,” reply Alan.”You can see for yourself, thanks to this name we can win!” said Alan.

“Hey, we won because of – because of Paul bang,” reply Luciel.

They then spend time enjoying the running of the festival which will continue at night by showing a show.

At night, on a cliff near the town of Rhine. Someone was looking at the view of the bustling city from afar.

“You all laugh while you can.” he said. " But tonight, the world will feel again why we should be feared.”

“Kakak, everything is ready.” Arrived – arrived behind him appeared a platinum-haired woman.
