Arc 1 Chapter 50: The Lord of the Night

Outside of Rhine City, a noble Vampire was fighting the strongest Knight in the Asgardia Continent.

“It looks like you've weakened Camlillus!” Vlad at his speed began to attack Camillus blindly using his sharp claws. “Where was Camillus the first Knight to become a great Purgatory hero 20 years ago!”

Camillus then bounced. Vlad then approached him with the same speed shown by Alfonso when facing Duke Lambert. Camillus then tries to cut him down but Vlad disappears using minor teleportation and appears behind Camillus and kicks him.

“ADA WHAT'S CAMILLUS!” shouted Vlad rather irritated with his opponent who did not mean – really fight.”My revenge will not be sweet if you don't even take out the Profound Codex Mu!”

Camillus recovered from Vlad's kick and began to stretch some of his limbs.

Looking at him, Vlad then took out a sign on his head and a wing grew on his back. He then focused his mana between his two horns. He then shot out a concentrated layer of mana towards Camillus.

“Repel” Camillus then fends off which attack leads to him and which attack Vlad bounces off a hill behind Camillus. Bomb!!!!!

“Minor Teleportation” Vlad then disappeared and appeared before Camillus he then pointed his hand right in front of Camillus and uttered a Curse spell.

“Horror of Death!” A green light appeared however, Camillus swiftly dodged it.

“Divine Slash!” Camillus then performed a slash and released a shockwave to Vlad, but was easily hindered by it.

“Goddess Redemption” Camillus then coat her sword with anti-darkness magic.

“Finally you're Serious too,” says Vlad” Red Claw.” Vlad then grew his claws which were coated by mana-eating magic.

They then narrowed each other's distance and did several buying and selling attacks. Clangs! Clangs! Clang!.

“Divine Flow!” Camillus then issued a combo of 17 times bertubi attacks – tubes to Vlad.

A slash! A slash! A slash! 4 – 5 slashes successfully Camillus land to Vlad.

“Aghhhh!!” Vlad then retreated and saw several sword incisions in his body begin to regenerate.

‘Even with top tier Divine magic it is still hard to penetrate his regeneration’ thought Camillus.

“Chamber of Death!” Vlad then used one of his Unreality Field.

Camillus is in a dimension of reality a room that has a lot of coffins. Clack…

The coffin – opened and several Vampires began to live out of it. Some of the Vampires then started attacking Camillus. Camillus tries to fight the Vampires, but the vampire – vampires who came out of the coffin are not ordinary vampires.

‘This is a vampire – vampire who was once the head of the noble vampire family Dracul’ thought Camillus. In other words, they were the predecessors of Vlad. Camillus then began to bring out his true abilities.

In the Western Forest where Alfonso was resting. A Platinum-haired woman was talking to Alfono.

“ So, you have killed the Red Sun?” ask Yeriel.

“Ya, not an easy fight hahaha.” Alfonso replied.

“How about my brother?”

“Lord is fighting Grand Master Camillus,” Alfonso said

Yeriel then saw the wounds – wounds obtained by Alfonso.

“Now that you have been released from my brother's contract, what are you going to do?” ask Yeriel.

“I will keep serving your family for a while now, I need resources to enter the Greenwood Great Forest,” replied Alfonso who already knew Yeriel's intention to come to him when his contract was released.

“Good,” said Yeriel.

Yeriel intends to kill Alfonso when he intends to stop serving his family. There was already too much information Alfonso had about the Dracul family. He then disappeared and went to the direction where his brother was fighting Camillus.

“What a terrible Woman,” muttered Alfonso.

Alfonso always felt, the most dangerous of the Dracul family brothers was the Brother. He moved silently and undetected. What he had planned could not even Alfonso guess at all.

Minutes after being trapped inside Vlad's Unreality Field, Camillus was finally able to come out using his Divine powers.

“Hahh... hah.. it is quite draining manaku,” muttered Camillus.

Vlad on the other hand still has enough mana capacity and has 2 Unreality Field still left.

“You heard Camillus, a very melodious human scream heard from within the City,” Vlad said provoking Camillus.

Hearing him Camillus' expression began to change. He then activates an Artifact that gets him Buff in various aspects.

‘I have to quickly end this’ thought Camillus.

Seeing Camillus who started to rush – and throw one by one his artifacts makes Vlad happy. This is Vlad's plan to make Camillus rush – gesa and more risk to attack.

Camillus began to dart and attack Vlad with the – techniques of Master class sword techniques.

“Goddess Waterfall Dance” Camillus then attacked Vlad using one of his flagship Combo.

“Aghhhhh!” Camillus was able to cut off one of Vlad's hands.

“Hah... hah.. Forbidden Magic: Festival of Blood!” Vlad then used the magic of every noble vampire.

On top of Vlad's head appeared a magic circle and gave rise to a blood. The magic then sucked the blood of – living creatures within a distance of 5 Kilometers.

‘I have to put an end to this soon otherwise, there will be more casualties in these few minutes’ thought Camillus.

“Divine Realm” Camillus starts activating its Profound Codex.

Vlad's severed hand has now regenerated due to the blood produced by the Festival of Blood magic.

They then restart a battle that will determine the fate of humans in the Rhine Duchy region.

Luciel and Liz were running to get out of Duchy Rhine City, and arrived – suddenly Luciel saw a magic circle forming outside the north entrance lane of Kota.

“Aghhhh!” Arrived – arrived Liz fell

“Liz, what happened?” ask Luciel

“I don't know, arrived – arrived my body started to limp,” replied Liz.

Luciel then sees one of Liz's wounds he got when fighting Rolf earlier. His blood gradually shot out from his wound and floated towards the magic circle that Luciel had seen just a moment ago.

“As if we have to be fast, I will carry you Liz,” Luciel said.

“ummm”

“Nightfall!”

“Redemtion!”

Vlad and Camillus exchanged attacks. Vlad gets more attacks but, his regeneration ability makes – wounds received is not too fatal. As for Camillus, his power began to weaken with time. Camillus saw the enemy in front of him begin to rise after receiving a crushing attack from him earlier. Arriving – arrives, Vlad appears in front of him and kicks Camillus and casts a curse magic.

“Life Drain!”

“Aghhhh!!!!” The magic of Camillus and Vlad took some portion of Camillus' soul.

“Hahahaha.. You can't beat Camillus time,” Vlad said.

Camillus was still feeling pain as some portion of her soul had been forced out. His body began to weaken and his mana began to thin. But in this critical state, Camillus recalled his conversation with his old friend 13 years ago.

“I'll go pick it up Camillus,” says friend Camillus.

“No, 4 Devil nobles are also heading to where the chosen one was born! You're going to die Julius!” camillus forbade his friend to leave.

“We cannot bring a lot of troops because it will attract a lot of attention Camillus, you are in charge of being the Grand Master of the Holy Knights. I'm the only one who fits on the mission this time”

Julius is Rival and Camillus' best friend. They entered the Holy Knight Order together and possessed comparable strength. But Julius was always low and did not like attention so he was satisfied to be an Inquisitor.

“You should go back Julius,” Camillus said.

“Yes, and promise me you will always keep the Holy Knight and his honor while I am not around,” Julius replied with a smile.

That was their last conversation to date. Camillus then got up and raised his sword towards the sky.

“I, Camillus. Swear will always be the shield of mankind in fighting demons – evil demons!”

“I, Camillus. Will always protect the honor of the Holy Knight and become a Sword to destroy the enemy of the Goddess.” A collection of Divine Mana began to surround Camilus who was uttering his Vow.

Vlad several times issued curse magic to disturb Camillus, but his magic was pent up by the Divine Mana around Camillus.

“I, Camillus. Swear on behalf of Julius Licinius Cactus the Sword of Peace. Will keep his legacy and will and die to guard it!.”

“God Ascend!!!” THE BUZZZZZ!!! From the night sky, a light appeared that surrounded Camillus and made his strength return like he was young once.

“Come Boy! I'll purify you like I used to purify your parents!”

Shouted Camillus.

“Be quiet you old man! You're the one who's gonna die in my hands! Dracul Legacy!!”

Camillus and Vlad same – same using his strongest changes. Camillus then focused his mana on his sword.

Vlad focused the dark magic and curses on his right hand. They then walked over to each other.

“Divine Judgement!”

“Blood Curse!"

BOMB!!!!!

The two attacks then collided and created an explosion that was 1Km in diameter and a puff of smoke could be seen up to 30Km.
