Chapter 23. The arrival of Anwar

Riana was allowed to go home after 3 days in the hospital. She still looked devastated after losing her baby. Rio patiently accompanied Riana and did not leave Riana alone.

Anwar held Riana's hand, but Riana brushed it off.

"I told you, now Riana is my wife. I'm not selling it to anyone. Including you, Anwar," said Rio steadily.

"You don't be selfish, Rio. Riana loves me so much. He wants me to sell you because he loves me so much. His love won't likely fade so quickly. Riana will never fall in love with you" Anwar said. "Mas, I'm so happy to hear that. I've waited long enough for something like this" Riana said with a smile.

"I'm sorry, I can be your priest now. Because I'm not sure I can be a good priest. I don't want any mistakes," Rio said with a smile looking at Riana's happy reaction.

Rio no longer cared about whether Riana stayed by his side out of pity or anything else. To be sure, as long as Riana was still willing to be with him for any reason, Rio would definitely keep her up at all times.

Since that night, Rio tried to become a good priest for Riana. Rio was hoping that his marriage would be fine. As much as possible, Rio wants to be Riana's dream husband.

The happiness of Riana and Rio, makes Anwar disappointed and sad. He felt, Rio had snatched his happiness. It should be him who is currently on Riana's side, not Rio.
