Chapter 35. Slowly began to unfold

Arriving at home, Aunt Mega looked confused and sad. Riana is also sad, hearing that Aunt Mega cannot bring Ryan home. Auntie Mega told me what happened to Ryan there.

"Is the information from the person I've hired, still there? If it's still there, I want to see it," Rio asked rather awkwardly because he had once refused to know the state of Anwar and Riana.

"Of course it still is. Even unbeknownst to Mr. Rio, I still asked him to continue investigating. I'm sure, one day Mr. Rio will definitely need it" Yuda replied steadily.

"thank you. But I want you to find the latest information about Anwar and his company. Also look for information about his family" Rio said as he stared out the window. While Ryan fell asleep in Rio's lap because of fatigue. This trip was quite long and exhausting.

"Well, right now I'm going to call that guy again" Yuda said and then contacted the detective he had hired first.

Apparently, after Rio and Riana got divorced, Anwar lied to Rio that he had been persuaded back by Riana. Anwar asked Rio to release Riana for her happiness. Rio finally decided to go abroad for 5 years and only returned a few days ago.

Rio decided all any information about Riana and Anwar even about anything related to them. Rio thought that he would never return to this country and would never see them again.

Now, he decided to return, after he felt he could face Anwar and Riana.

"Bring it to my room" Rio said as Yuda reached the house.

Judah obeyed his boss's orders without speaking a word. Even though his heart was full of questions that needed answers.

Yuda laid Ryan's body on Rio's bed. After that Rio enveloped Riyan's body.

"Wait for me in my office. There are things that I want to discuss," said Rio sambari staring at Ryan's innocent face then turned to look at Yuda who immediately nodded slowly.

Ria looked back at the little boy who she thought was very similar to her. The boy who was able to attract his attention, when his heart was empty. Rio touched the face that Ryan had until Ryan felt a little amused. Rio pulled back his hand for fear of waking him up.

Rio retreated slowly then left Ryan who had been awake since. Ryan stared at Rio's departure with his sweet smile. He slowly got down from his bed then walked following Rio's steps towards his study.

After Rio walked into his study, Ryan went back into the room. Although Ryan wasn't sure if Rio was his father, Ryan remembered that his mother had a face painting similar to Rio. Ryan was trying to find something that could convince his heart and make things clear.

Ryan opened the desk drawer that was inside Rio's room. There was nothing to find him. Then she walked into the closet. There, there were stored many women's clothes. Ryan's eyes were fixed on a box that was tightly closed.

Ryan tried to take the box and took it to the bed. Ryan opened the box slowly and happened to be unlocked.

Ryan's tiny face suddenly turned frantic, when he saw the contents of the box. Photos of her mother's wedding to the man who took her. Then photos while they are doing daily activities. They all look beautiful and they look happy.

Ryan was stunned to see all that. However, he took one of their photos and rushed to put the other photo back in the box. Ryan immediately returned the box to its original place. Ryan pretended to go back to sleep after keeping the photo under the bed.

Meanwhile, Rio was discussing with Yuda about Anwar and Riana. Rio really did not expect that after the accident, Anwar took Riana out of the country.

All the information was complete about Anwar. His life after returning from Singapore and after all his property was taken by his future wife. So, it turns out that Anwar is not married to Riana. Anwar lied to her. For 4 years he was in prison.

A look of regret was seen from Rio's face. He trusted Anwar too much because he felt disappointed and not confident. With such a deformed face, it was possible that a woman as beautiful as Riana could fall in love with him.
