Chapter 38. Ryan is sick

Riana woke up early. He immediately took a shower and changed his clothes. He also hurried to wake Ryan to prepare as well. They will leave at around 7 to the nearest terminal.

"Ryan, Mama wants to make breakfast first for us and Papa Yadi. You just sit here first. Later when the breakfast is ready, you call Papa Yadi here," said Riana with a smile.

"Ready, Ma," replied Ryan eagerly. "Ma, can you pinch your phone for a minute?"

"Wanna play a game? You can, this. Mama cook first, huh?" riana answered with a question as well.

Riana gives her phone to Ryan who looks very happy. Ryan immediately went into the room and took out a paper from his pocket. Apparently, Ryan wanted to contact Rio.

Slowly, Ryan pressed the keyboard of his mother's phone carefully. He was afraid of pressing wrong so he looked at the numbers on the paper one after another.

The ringing sound of the phone was still heard, a sign of his call having entered Rio's phone. A moment later, Rio's voice came.

["Assalamu'alaikum, Ryan?" rio sounded hopeful.]

["Wa'alaikum greetings, Papa. Ryan today, want to go home with Mama," replied Ryan slowly, afraid his mother heard.]

["What ... Rianna? I mean Papa, your Mama is coming. Where do you live?" rio asked in panic. Her heart was pounding hearing Riana was in the same city as her.]

["At Papa Yadi's house," replied Ryan innocently.]

Rio was not out of thought, he could have stayed at the man's house. Are they married? Not likely. If they were married, Ryan wouldn't call him papa.

["Yes, Papa. Mama sleeps at Papa Yadi's house. Yes, Pa, Ryan is afraid of being caught by mom. Mama will be angry," replied Ryan then say goodbye to Rio.]

["Yes. Be careful on the road. Assalamu'alaikum," Rio said sadly.]

["Wa'alaikum greetings," replied Ryan.]

After he finished talking to Rio through his mother's phone, Ryan rushed to see his mother to see if breakfast was ready.

"Ma, are you ready?" ryan asked, standing next to his mother.

"It has. You call Papa Yadi for breakfast together," Riana replied while looking at Ryan for a moment.

"OK," replied Ryan then ran towards Yadi's room.

"Don't run, it'll fall!" riana shouted reminding.

Ryan just smiled at his mother's screams. She was very happy to tease her mother. He even waved his hand for his mother to chase after him. But, Riana simply smiled while sighing deeply.

That morning, they had breakfast together. They rarely meet, but they are very familiar with each other. Especially the relationship between Yadi and Ryan. Ryan once said, if he wants to be a cop like Papa Yadi.

That morning, Riana and Ryan left for the nearest terminal to Yadi. Riana still prefers to take public transport rather than ride in a car. Other than that he could not drive, he would rather meet a lot of people.

Samali is at home, Riana starts talking about Ryan's pepper school problem. It's time for Ryan to go to kindergarten school.

"Honey, tomorrow mama register you to school near the mama's restaurant. So, later you can go home there," said Riana while watching children's television show.

The next day, Rian still makes Ryan want to go to school. She wakes Ryan up, but Riana is shocked because Ryan's body is so hot. Riana measured Ryan's body temperature with a thermometer and she was very shocked. His body temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius.

Riana was speechless hearing Aunt Mega's words. What Auntie Mega said is true. But what can he do to give him a father. She and Rio are divorced.

"Mama," Ryan's voice sounded weak.

"Yes Dear. Ryan wants what, just tell mom," Riana replied as she held Ryan's hand.

"Yes Ryan. Tell your mother what you want. This time your mother will definitely grant it" said Aunt Mega.

"Mama, Ryan wants Papa. Papa's real Ryan. Can't you?" ask Ryan slowly.

Riana looked at her aunt. He doesn't know what to answer. Then Riana looked back at Ryan who still looked limp. He can't hurt Ryan anymore because of his ego.

"I'm sorry Mama" said Riana sadly Only that word came out of Riana's mouth.

Ryan was in the hospital for three days. During that time, they never talked about school. Just as they were about to go home, suddenly a knock on the door shocked Riana and Aunt Mega.

As the door opened, a man that Riana loved dearly, stood there. He is Rio.

"Mas Rio?" riana muttered.

Rio walked over to Ryan. His face looked sad to see Ryan was sick. Rio clasped Ryan's hand. Riana intended to ban Rio, but Aunt Mega pulled Riana's arm and gestured to let them.

"Ryan," Rio said with a quivering tone.

"Father, Ryan misses Papa" Ryan said in tears.

"Yes, Papa is also missing. Now Papa has come. You have to heal" said Ryan, strengthening Ryan's heart.

"wait. Can we talk outside?" take Riana when you hear Ryan calling Rio Papa.

"good. Ryan, Papa talk to Mama for a second. Pray Papa, so that Mama is not angry anymore with Papa," Rio said with a smile. In her hands, a document that she hopes will make Riana accept her presence as Ryan's father.
