Chapter 39. Endeavors

Riana and Rio were sitting on a chair in the waiting room. Their eyes clashed with each other. As if to show each other's strength. Riana started to be irritated, because Rio did not feel guilty at all.

"How did you get to this hospital? We're no longer in touch, what are you coming for?" riana asked as she continued to stare at Rio.

Rio felt a little disinclined at Riana's sight. She realizes that when Riana leaves her house, because Riana feels unhappy living with her.

"Rianna. Whatever happened in our past, I will never blame you. Even when you filed for my divorce, I accepted, because I want you to be happy. Even though my heart aches and is sad," Rio replied a little melo.

"What, I'm suing for your divorce? Not wrong, you want to divorce me. I heard it myself clearly. I shouldn't have fallen in love with you, Mas Rio," said Riana, holding back her annoyance.

"What, you're in love with me. Really true?" rio asked delightedly and he wanted to jump for joy if he did not remember losing he was already 3 heads old.

"That was, Mas. Why do you have such a reaction?" riana asked in shock.

"I'm sorry Riana. I never should have said I wanted to tell you. I'm sorry, really," Rio said regretfully.

"Here you go, I hope, Mas Rio will leave this hospital soon. Don't bother us anymore" Riana said coldly.

"No way, I'm not leaving. Especially after I found out that Ryan was my son. This is the proof" Rio said as he handed the documents he brought to Riana.

Riana took the documents from Rio's hand. He then opened it and the document contained the results of the DNA test between Rio and Ryan. The result is certainly suitable because Riana knows that Ryan is Rio's son. However, Riana did not want to give up.

"What is this, even though Ryan is your son, but I am pregnant, I gave birth and I am also the one who took care of him until now. I won't let you take it from me" Riana said firmly and clearly.

"Riana, I don't ...," said Rio stalled.

"Enough. We have no relationship anymore. So go, let us live in peace" Riana said.

Riana immediately left Rio who still could not believe that Riana hated him so much. Rio tiska intends to take Ryan out of Riana's hands. He just wants to be with Ryan and Riana.

Riana walked quickly and hurriedly wanted to take Ryan home. Especially now that they are allowed to go home by a doctor. Aunt Mega was confused to see the attitude of Riana who looks rude and unhappy with Rio. Because until now, Riana never told who her father was.

They walked a little quickly down the hospital hallway. Ryan and Aunt Mega did not dare to ask anything other than just obey Riana's wishes.

They went home by taxi booked by Auntie Mega. In just a dozen minutes, they had reached Riana's house. Riana's grandfather's house is now hers.

Jodi once tried to rape her, but failed because Riana always carried a stun in her pocket, wherever she went. As a beautiful and successful young widow, of course, many men tried to approach her. Both in a smooth and rough way.

"Let go of my son, don't hurt him! If you need money, I can give you. How much do you need?" riana panicked.

"Hahaha, I don't need any money. I want you to be my wife. I've been working hard to be your employee, to get closer to you. But, you still rejected me," Jodi said with a laugh.

"Jodi, I told you I don't want to get married again. I hope you understand my decision. Please, let go of my son" Riana pleaded.

"If you want to be my wife, I'll let her go. Or you'll see your son die at my hands" Jodi threatened.

Just then, Ryan bit Jodi's hand so much that Jodi was in pain and accidentally let go of her grip. Ryan immediately ran to his mother. Just then, Jodi was furious and ran after Space with a knife ready to stab Ryan in the body.

Riana panicked and ran to pick up Ryan. Riana wanted to block Jodi's stab. Riana doesn't care even if she's the one who gets hurt as long as it's not Ryan. Riana hugged Ryan tightly, and Riana resigned herself to her fate.

"Awaas Riana!" aunty Mega shouted frantically seeing Jodi ready to stab Riana in the back.

That was when, Rio came hugging the bodies of Riana and Ryan, so the knife stabbed into Rio's waist.

"Yes ...." The sound of Rio's cry sounded heartbreaking.

Riana was startled and panicked when she found out, it was not her who was pierced by Jodi's knife, but Rio.

"Mas Rio, you don't die. Waking up Mas Rio, I will immediately take you to the hospital," Riana said increasingly in panic as her hands filled with blood.

"Papa," Ryan said as he held Rio's hand and sobbed.

Meanwhile, Aunt Mega screamed for help to gather the citizens. People came soon because it was still late afternoon. They partially chased and captured Jodi, and partly helped bring Rio to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, Rio immediately received treatment. After a few hours, Rio was placed in an inpatient room. Mega Aunty takes care of the inpatient procedure with Ryan. While Riana was guarding Rio with a heart that was still in shock.

Riana looked at her ex-husband's weakly lying body. Riana Tidka thought that Rio would risk his life for her sake. They have been divorced for a long time.

"Mas Rio, quickly come to your senses. Quickly heal. I promise, I won't be mad at you anymore because of our divorce. We can still be friends and you can meet Ryan. You're father and son, I can't change it" Riana said sadly.
