Aisyah's car stopped in Ayana's yard. The house looked quiet making Aisyah hesitant about to get out of her car. However he must clear up the misunderstanding between them, Aisyah must apologize to Ayana and Khanza.
After returning from the restaurant, Aisyah went to Ayana's house after changing clothes and praying ashar. He spent a long time praying to God after the prayer. He begged God to carry out his business, especially his marriage. Many people say that the marriage test is tough. For Aisha this was very hard when Zaid disagreed with the marriage.
The rain suddenly fell when Aisyah opened the door about to get out of the car. He reached out to the back seat to pick up the umbrella and got down from there.
If you remember Aisyah very rarely visited the house of Ayana and Khanza, she also did not tell much about her life to them. Aisyah is not used to it even though Ayana and Khanza always share stories. Aisyah did not know if it was wrong because she was too secretive, she did not know how to make friends properly. That was because Aisyah had not been friends with many people since childhood.
Aisha knocks on the door of Ayana's house and says her greetings. Shortly after a middle-aged woman opens the door, she is Ayana's mother.
"Mother, I'm Aisyah's friend Ayana." Aisyah shook Ayana's mother's hand and commented on the thin smile.
"Oh you who converted it yes, Ayana often told me about you, last here you have not veiled."
"True Ma'am, Ayana is there?"
"Some, let's go in." Ayana's mother invited Aisyah in and let her sit down.
"Why did you come here?" Ayana suddenly appeared from behind the door of the room closest to the living room, apparently it was Ayana's room. He must have heard a brief conversation between his mother and Aisyah just now.
"Why are you talking about the same thing as yourself?" Tegur Ayana's mother.
"I want to apologize." Aisyah.
"Udah is Aisha." Ayana did not want to talk about this anymore with Aisha. He was quite shocked when he saw the Umar family coming to Aisyah's graduation. He and Khanza are just like fools who know nothing when they consider Aisyah as a close friend. But Aisha hid it from them.
"Ayana, I have absolutely no intention of hiding this from you, please beat me up first." Aisha held Ayana's hand with an imploring look.
"I thought we were pretty tight, but it turns out you—"
"Ayana," said Aisha quickly. "When we ate at the restaurant I already wanted to tell you but it's not so because you said that Mas Umar is more suitable with Ning Hilya, you said they are compatible, but not so because you said that Mas Umar is more suitable with Ning Hilya, how do I want to tell you and Khanza that you already thought the girl that Mas Umar wanted to marry ruined Ning Hilya and Mas Umar's relationship!"
Aisha's tears flowed by themselves when she departed from home she promised herself not to cry. But this was too painful for him, no one considered himself worthy of an Umar. Aisyah tried her best but she still could not match Hilya. It never will.
Ayana was stunned to hear Aisha's explanation, when Aisyah was about to let go of her grip, Ayana immediately held her back.
"I'm nothing compared to Ning Hilya but even you guys are very supportive of their matchmaking." Aisyah endured the crying but could not.
"Aisha, I didn't mean to."
Aisyah cried bitterly, not to mention Zaid who did not give her blessing to the marriage. This is too heavy for Aisyah to face. He was even new to Islam, certainly would not be able to compete with Hilya.
"I'm sorry." Ayana pulled Aisyah into her arms and rubbed her back. He regretted that he was angry when Aisyah needed support. He can't be a good friend to Ayana. "You deserve Gus Umar, you deserve him the most."
No matter how good Hilya was, Umar's love was only for Aisha. No one will get Umar's heart except Aisha.
"Are you sorry I didn't?"
"Aisha, I'm the one who should apologize, it's your graduation day but I'm making you sad." Ayana breaks down the hug.
"Nothing matters you're sorry for me."
Ayana hugged Aisyah again, she was very sorry for making Aisha cry.
They go to Khanza's house together, Aisyah explains the same thing to Khanza that she has no intention of concealing her marriage. He just wants to share his happiness with them. Aisyah has no close friends other than Ayana, Khanza and Gracia.
"I understand." Khanza could accept Aisha's explanation, "Aisha, from now on you should be more open, you have me and Ayana, we will always support you."
Aisyah nodded in gratitude as Ayana and Khanza forgave her. It will learn to be more open to them even if it is not easy.
"I'm sorry about our words back then." Say them.
"You are not wrong, I am just sad because I cannot be a woman who deserves Mas Umar." Aisyah developed a smile.
"But God has chosen you to be Gus Umar's wife, man's judgment is not necessarily true." Ayana rubbed Aisha's arm, she must not go before God in judging others.
"I'm sure you'll keep trying to do better." Khanza.
"I support you, Aisha."
"Thank you, thanks to you I became acquainted with Islam." If they never invited Aisyah to go to study, maybe until now Aisyah has not known Islam. This was the greatest gift that Aisha would be grateful for in her entire life.
Aisyah pampit home when the sky began to dark but drizzle never subsided. He took Ayana first and prayed there before returning home.
******
Umar looked up at the dark sky without stars. Is the sky also sad just like the mood of Umar at this time. But the sky should comfort him instead of supporting his collapsed mood.
Umar turned his eyes when one of the students who was about to get out of the mosque experienced him.
"Don't rain!" Umar exclaimed at the santri, he saw the skinny boy broke through the rain while holding his scabbard so as not to get wet but free. Puddles of water in front of the mosque make the scabbard wet. "Basic children."
"Just like you." Khalid appeared behind Umar.
"What is the same?"
"You are also children, forbidden instead of retreat even more practiced."
"What this 30-year-old man deserves to be called a child."
"But I love your determination."
"Abah's words must have made Ayesha sad, Mas."
"Then you have to go to Aisha's house now and apologize to her parents."
"I intend to go."
"Go."
When he was about to come down from the terrace of the mosque, Umar saw the santri who broke through the rain just now back with two umbrellas.
"Thank you, just one for you." Umar received only one umbrella from the santri.
"Sorry, there's no need for Gus." Refuse politely.
"Just wear it, Gus Khalid and I can use both umbrellas."
"Thank you so much Gus."
"Let's Gus." Umar opened the umbrella embracing Khalid's shoulder out of the mosque together.
Arriving at home, Umar searched for Maryam to go to Aisha's house.
"Bring a car or a motorcycle?"
"Motor aja Ummi, the old car was afraid Umar stuck in the middle of the road."
"Don't forget to wear a raincoat."
"Yes Ummi, Umar left." Umar kissed Maryam's hand and said hello. He did not say goodbye to Zaid because his Abah still taught the santri in the mosque.
Along the way to the house of Aisha, accompanied by the thundering rain Umar prayed in his heart that God would conduct their business to marry. Umar can face this, he is more worried about Aisyah who must be under a lot of pressure.
Umar pressed the doorbell of Aisyah's house once, hoping that her arrival would not disturb Aisyah and her parents.
Soon the gate opened with a security guard.
"Who's looking?" Ask security.
"Aisha is home?"
"Who is it, my friend?" The security guard could not see very clearly because of the rain.
"I'm Umar."
"Oh Gus Umar, please come in." He opened the gate wider, allowing Umar to enter.
Aisha got out of the car when she saw Umar coming. Although the lighting in the yard was minimal, Aisyah could recognize Umar from afar.
Aisha hurriedly approached Umar with an umbrella. Aisyah did not ask for the purpose of Umar coming here, she first invited Umar in. Aisyah helped hang Umar's raincoat.
"Bi, please take a towel." Pinta Aisyah on one of the ART who opened the door.
"Where is it?" Umar asked because he saw Aisha get out of the car just now.
"From Ayana and Khanza's house, they had misunderstood Mas Umar's family on campus, they thought that I was hiding our wedding plans."
"So that's why you look so grim from earlier?"
Aisyah nodded, "but I've cleared up this misunderstanding, "What's the matter here?"
"I came to apologize to you."
"No need to apologize Mas, I know Abah said it was for your good."
ART came with a small towel to dry the wet hair of Umar.
"Some." Jaya appears from the second floor and Renata behind her. "What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry sir, Mom I didn't tell you if it was coming, I came to ask Mr. Jaya and Ms. Renata because of my Abah words earlier, please forgive us."
"That's it, the important thing is that you promise to always keep Atalie for us."
"Of course, I will take care of Atalie no matter what happens, if Pak Jaya and Bu Renata do not allow Atalie to stay in the boarding house, I will buy a house before we get married."
"You ask Atalie, if we are calmer if you stay here but after marriage the decision is in your hands, I cannot impose a will." Renata.
"You two talk first, we have some business outside." Jaya told Umar and Aisyah.
"Good Sir."
"I'll drink first." Aisyah stepped away from the living room towards the kitchen after papa and her mama came out.
In the kitchen ART has made warm tea for Umar and Aisyah.
Aisyah thanked him for not being confident in making tea for Umar. It was only as simple as making tea but Aisyah had never done it before.
"Oh my goodness, you must learn to make your own." Murmuring Aisyah to herself, she arranged the pastry to the plate and took it to the living room with two glasses of warm tea.
Aisyah found Daniel in the living room when he returned. They seemed to be chatting, Aisyah put tea and pastries on the table.
"Mas, next week I'm going to open a boutique, come on."
"Inshaa Allah I'm coming."
"Drink the tea, it's not me who makes it."
"It doesn't matter if you make Ayesha."
"I can't make tea." Aisyah said honestly, she did not want Umar to expect too much of her.
"It's okay I'll teach you." Umar sipped the warm tea that Aisyah brought.
They talked about some wedding preparations that had not been discussed before. Daniel who did not understand the chat his brother and Umar chose to read a book that he deliberately brought to the living room.
