The Gema Shahadah Aisyah

The Gema Shahadah Aisyah
Human Destiny

Aisyah was so excited to prepare a grand opening of the Muslimah Boutique after going through a long process that was not easy. Starting from the location, the brand to be sold to employees. Initially Aisyah wanted to make her own products by looking for convection companies around Banyuwangi but it was not easy. After wandering for the past month, Aisyah did not find a suitable convection spot. Finally Aisyah chose to sell one brand in her boutique while interspersed with her own clothes. Just imagine Aisyah was very happy.

Today the Muslim Boutique is officially open. Three of Aisyah's best friends came along as well as her classmates. Not many visitors came even though Aisyah had spread leaflets aided by Gracia last week.

"If this is not a special boutique Muslim clothing, maybe more will come." Said Gracia while paying attention to the entire boutique.

Aisyah just smiled in response, she had thought about it carefully. Since most of Aisyah's acquaintances were from the church community, they were unlikely to come to her boutique. But for Aisyah it does not matter, he believes as time goes by this boutique will be known to more people.

"Let's start cutting the ribbon." Renata patted Aisyah on the shoulder.

"Wait for Ma." Actually Aisyah does not want any ribbon cutting event anyway it is not a big boutique and not many come. But Renata has prepared everything including a ribbon cutting event.

Aisha waited for Umar to cut the ribbon because it was important to her so she wanted Umar to be with her. Aisyah began to fidget because Umar did not come, the clock showed at half-time 11, had passed 30 minutes.

Aisyah checked her phone, she saw one incoming message from Umar.

Assalamualaikum Aisyah, I'm really sorry for not being able to come. I have to see Hilya at the hospital. I'll come back after I get back.

Aisha's smile faded, her eyes dimmed after reading Umar's message. Did he not tell Umar long ago. Whether to visit Hilya can not be delayed. Aisyah wanted to get angry, her burning spirit a few minutes ago instantly disappeared.

Finally Aisyah moved from her seat to throw all the bad thoughts in her head. He must be excited again, there are friends and friends here. It's okay Umar didn't come.

"Thank you to the friends who have taken the time to come here, I hope this boutique can continue to grow and provide appropriate clothing for Muslim women." The corner of Aisyah's lips lifted, she saw her mama who was smiling widely towards her and cut the ribbon. Applause was heard in the boutique courtyard.

"Good darling." Renata gives Aisyah a hug, "one of your dreams is realized." He looked at Aisha proudly.

"It's all because Mama and Papa have been supporting my desires."

Although Jaya did not come because she had to go to Bali but eventually she supported Aisyah's desire to have a boutique. Jaya even helped Aisyah by investing a considerable amount of funds.

Boutique Muslimah has three employees who are ready to serve the buyer. Various models and colors of Muslim women's clothing are available complete with hijab and accessories.

"Gus Umar said he wanted to come." Ayana whispered to Aisha.

"She's suddenly got business so can't come." Somehow Aisyah would not tell if Umar visited Hilya. Although Ayana and Khanza asked Aisyah more openly but for this one Aisyah could not tell. Aisyah will keep her disappointment alone. He just wants to share happiness, let sadness, pain and disappointment for himself.

"Aren't you angry or upset?"

Aisyah shook her head even though it was actually deep within her she was very upset. Umar seems to put Hilya first rather than Aisha. I don't know, Aisyah doesn't want to think too much about it. For now he should focus on his buttons.

Umar again set foot in the city which is only separated by one regency from Banyuwangi after traveling about 4 hours by motorbike. This was not the visit Umar wanted. More precisely he always wished Hilya was in good shape. Not lying weakly with a medical device stuck to his body.

Only one person can enter Hilya's ward, Umar waits for his turn while one of Hilya's best friends is in there.

Abizar and Aminah are in front of the ICU room, they faithfully accompany Hilya pray for the recovery of the child.

"About one month Hilya's health is not good. Hilya always refused to go to the doctor, she just asked me to make ginger tea, we thought it would heal by itself like a normal fever. A week after that the heat went down but Hilya was unconscious in the room, her nose was bleeding." Aminah blocked wiping the water in her eye pelup. He still remembers exactly that incident.

"The doctor said Hilya had a plasma leak due to being handled late, I'm very sorry for not taking her to the hospital right away."

"Sorry Nyai, I'm sure Nyai and Kyai have done their best." Umar bowed in no power to hear Aminah's story about Hilya's condition. He did not expect Hilya's scarlet fever to be that severe. "Regarding Ning Hilya's condition the past month, I apologize profusely to Nyai and Kyai."

"You don't have to apologize Umar."

The more Aminah said there was no need to apologize, the more guilt undermined Umar.

Someone came out of Hilya's room. Umar immediately asked for permission to enter.

Hilya did not wear her veil, she lay weakly on top of the gurney with an oxygen hose attached to her nose as well as an infusion on the back of her left hand.

"Assalamualaikum, it's me Umar." Umar walked over and sat down at the side table of the gurney. "I'm sorry, Ning."

Hilya's eyes blinked, her fingers moving. Seeing Hilya's response, Umar knew that Hilya could hear and feel her presence.

Slowly Hilya opened her eyes, her eyes glaring at Umar then a line of thin smile was painted on her pale face.

Hilya shook her head faintly unconvinced by Umar's words. Even now he could not see Umar's face clearly. Only the memory of Umar remains clear.

They first met at the age of Hilya 4 years while Umar just graduated from elementary school. At that time Hilya had admired Umar but not because of his handsome face let alone his morality because he did not understand about it. Umar's body was so high that Hilya had to look up when talking to him.

This gus is so tall like an electric pole. Hilya thought at the time.

They play in the side yard more precisely on the edge of a muddy catfish pond.

"Gus the road slowly."

"It's been slow, your road is slow."

In pursuit of Umar who walked far in front of him, Hilya accidentally slipped and fell into the pool.

"Ning Hilya!" Umar was surprised to see Hilya plunge into the pool until her body was full of mud. He hurriedly pulled Hilya's hand firmly and raised it to the edge.

Hilya cried because the white robe she wore turned black and smelly.

"Don't cry, Ning Hilya." Umar rubbed the mud on Hilya's cheek, actually he wanted to laugh but was afraid to make Hilya cry more.

Maryam appeared instantly surprised to see Hilya's body full of mud.

"Sorry Ummi, Umar did not take good care of Ning Hilya." Umar felt guilty because he did not listen to Hilya to walk more slowly. As a result Hilya fell into the catfish pond.

Hilya's hands clenched weakly, she still remembered Umar's grasp when he lifted her from the pool. After growing up, they were no longer familiar even Umar only greeted Hilya with short sentences when he met. Hilya understood because they were no longer children and had to limit interactions with non-mahrams. But Hilya's admiration does not change, it gets bigger and slowly becomes a feeling of love.

When he heard about being betrothed, Hilya was very happy. Every day is fun for the wedding day. Everything went well until Umar said he loved another girl. Hilya thought it didn't matter anyway they would get married soon and the feeling of love definitely grew by itself. But Umar came and said he would cancel his sermon. Hilya's world was destroyed.

"Yes?" Hilya's hoarse voice was barely audible but since there were only the two of them in the room, Umar could still hear it.

"Hm?"

"The wedding day." Hilya is reluctant to discuss this but she must sincerely accept the fate that has been outlined. It was supposed to be her wedding day but she just lay helpless here. How fortunate Aisha was, she was loved and wanted to marry Umar. Aisyah was the only girl that made Hilya envious.

"True Ning."

"May Gus Umar and Mbak Aisyah be a family filled with affection and barokah and blessed with children who are sholeh and sholeh."

Umar choked up, Hilya didn't have to say that. Hilya had been hurt enough but she still had time to pray for the marriage of Umar and Aisyah.

"Ning" Umar was surprised to see blood running down Hilya's nose. He tried to wipe Hilya's blood while pressing Nurse Call near the nightstand.

"I'm happy." Hilya smiled in a state between conscious and unconscious, "because she once loved you, Gus."

"Thank you Ning." Umar shook with the cry, he could not hear the sentence because at any time he could not reply.

Several nurses and doctors entered Hilya's room, they asked Umar to come out of it while the doctor examined Hilya's condition.

"What's Umar?" Aminah went to Umar, she was surprised to see Umar's hand covered with blood.

"Ning Hilya's nosebleed, the doctor is examining her." Clearly Umar was still in a trembling voice, he rubbed his hands with the clothes he was wearing.

Aminah tried to look into Hilya's room while continuing to chant prayers for Hilya's safety.

The roar of Umar's motorbike sounded firmer on the quiet streets and stopped in front of the building with the inscription Muslimah Boutique. The shop was dark even though Umar hoped he would still have time to meet Aisyah just to congratulate her. But it was too late, the shop was closed.

"Sorry Aisyah, I'm late." Umar Gumam. He pulled out his phone checking that there might be a message from Aisyah. But the last message of Umar this morning was only read without any reply.

Umar's motorbike drove back to leave the boutique yard that was not too broad. Umar has advanced his bike at high speed from Lumajang but he remains late.

Shortly after the boutique door opened, Aisyah emerged from behind the dark glass walls of the boutique. He locked the door and stepped into the side yard where his car was parked. He came home late waiting for Umar.

"Mas Umar hasn't come home yet?" Aisyah looked up at the overcast sky, it would soon be raining. Aisyah hope Umar did not rain on the way home.
