The Love I Don't Miss

The Love I Don't Miss
Part 37 (Trial of Mediation)

The day the first trial had arrived. The trial, which was a mediation effort, was held in Zio and Calina's hometown.

In accordance with Calina's wishes, she did not want to attend the trial at all. He did not want to see Zio again. The first man to grow love in his heart, but also the first man to scratch a wound in the same place.

But apparently Zio did not want to lose just like that. He paid a lawyer no less famous than the lawyer who represented Calina at the trial.

So that the process that should be easy, hindered by the wishes of the defendant, which is to ask for a mediation hearing must be attended by Calina. The debate was quite heated by two well-known lawyers.

"My client refused to attend because she was sick!" calina's lawyer told the judge and counsel.

"What pain?" sahut Zio frowned.

Worrying? I don't know.. Zio had never worried about Calina at all. But this time hearing his second wife was sick, he gasped a little.

"He forbade me to say whatever pain he was suffering to you!" answer to Lawyer Calina.

"I deserve to know!" said Zio. "Till this moment I am still her husband! Quickly tell me what pain my wife is!"

"My client is right! Until this moment there is no word of talaq from my Client to his wife, Mrs Calina Agasta!" attorney Zio defended. "So he still has the right to know about Mrs Calina!"

"Like you defend your Clients, then that's me! My duty and obligation is to defend my Client!" reply lawyer Calina no less firm. He looked sharply at Zio's lawyer. Not daunted at all with the high voice of the opponent lawyer.

The same two lawyers - equally stubborn - are reluctant to budge. Making the mediation room sound like a scene of commotion.

"My client is her legal husband! Both legally, and religiously!" zio's lawyer continued to not want to lose, by repeatedly reminding Zio and Calina is still legal as husband and wife. Moreover, the lawsuit was filed by Calina, not from Zio's side.

"The husband who has cheated raw - raw my client!" calina's lawyer quipped in half ridicule.

"You have no right to make that a mockery!" blow Zio's lawyer.

"That's not a mockery! That's the truth!" lawyer Calina smiled curiously.

"Stop! Stop that!" a judge judge appointed to mediate the mediation hearing.

Two lawyers stopped to argue. And sit back quietly with the same chest - just as the kembis holds back emotions.

"With the absence of Mrs Calina and various statements and evidence - evidence of lies, it is stated that the trial is proceeding to the next stage!" concluded the judge of mediation.

"Can't!" sahut Zio, "i have to meet with Calina first!"

"For that matter please proceed outside the courtroom. The current decision cannot be challenged!" answer the judge. "If you do find a bright spot, please both of you come!"

Zio let out a heavy sigh. His chest rumbled as he left the mediation room. I really want to see Calina. But the girl was lost in the Earth. Calina's lawyer is reluctant to tell her where Calina currently lives.

One thing that makes Zio ask questions. Where's Calina's money to pay the famous lawyer who's a farmhouse lawyer?

All this time he only gave money to spend the equivalent of Calina's salary. If Calina's salary in the tube, for a year will not be enough to pay the lawyer whose price reaches hundreds of millions.

"Who's behind Calina?" he murmured softly as he drove his car to return to the Capital.

He only took one day off, after all there were no parents in the village. So it is better that he immediately return to the Capital, and seek tranquility with the gentle voice of his first wife.

"Anyone who is being Calina's protector must not be a random person!"

Suddenly Zio turned around, he had to meet his mother-in-law. Who knows, her mother-in-law has a little hint.

But when he got there, again - again he had to come back empty-handed.

"Even Calina didn't call Mama at all, Zio." said Mama Shinta. "Mama can't be an intermediary for you at all... Mama leave it all to you and Calina..."

"Maa.. Zio did not want to part with Calina. But Calina is defended by an expensive lawyer!" he said, "last Zio was looking for the last Calina to take the money, and it was near our compound, and only for 10 million! Then it was never again detected taking the money."

"You mean, did someone help Calina?"

"Yes, Ma!" zio replied, "and Zio was sure, he's not just anyone!"

"Zio is also confused, Ma. from which Calina has that much money to pay lawyers who only for one case at least have to spend 300 million!"

"300 million!" mama Shinta couldn't believe it. He rolled his eyes towards his son-in-law.

"Yes, Ma," Zio replied lethargic, "even Zio himself had to rethink to pay Zio's lawyer now." he continued to look weaker.

"Yes God... Who helped Calina?" mumble Mama Shinta.

"Obviously he must be the one whose wealth surpasses Papa's Mama's."

Take a deep breath, then throw it away slowly. Looking at her frail-looking daughter-in-law, Mama Shinta was filled with excitement. Can no longer continue to hold back the wrath on the man who has made his daughter sad.

"Zuo... Although Mama is disappointed with you, but Mama always wishes the best for you" said Mama Shinta softly. "Look at how persistent Calina wants to part with you, Mama can't do much, can't stand up for you or defend Calina. Because actually Mama also regretted giving Mama's only daughter to marry in an arranged marriage. Where it turns out that the marriage that we thought was your first marriage, it turns out to be your second marriage." continued Mama Shinta staring at Zio.

"Zio knows, Ma.." replied Zio staring blankly at the front.

"Mama's message. If you are truly separated, there is no hostility! I still think of you as my mother's child! Just like Mama considers Calina.

Zio turned to his mother-in-law on the left side. He stared in a pair of old eyes that exuded a sincere tenderness for him. Unable to hold back, Zio's tears just slid.

Zio got up from the chair and crouched down right in front of Mama Shinta. Again he cried with his mother-in-law's hand.

"I'm sorry Zio, Ma." he said in a statement. He kissed repeatedly the back of Mama Shinta's hand. The only person who now considers him a child. In the middle of his parents who died.

"That's it, son." said Mama Shinta rubbing Zio's head gently. "Don't be sorry.. It's all been happening.. Regrets will only make you slumped, and trapped in the past. Make what you did to Calina a lesson. For you can be a good man for your wife."

"Despite the weight, let Calina live the life she wants. My mom would do the same. Take Calina off with what she thinks is right. It is quite a big mistake Mama and her late Papa by making his life unbecoming over the past year. And without our knowledge."

Zio nodded in a sob. Can't say anything anymore. In his mind, there was no longer any path with Calina.

"Now... If you are willing, marry Naura legally in the eyes of the law. Happy him as redeeming your guilt all along."

Again - again Zio could only nod. Although in the heart is still not ready if you have to really lose Calina.

"Back the Capital, come to Mama if you need Mama. Think of Mama Shinta as Mama Reni's replacement."

"Yes, Ma!" zio replied as he wiped the tears that had soaked his cheeks. "Zio came home, Maa.." said Zio again kissed the back of Mama Shinta's hand as a sign of goodbye.

"Yes, son." replied Mama Shinta reply by wiping the top of Zio's head.

***

Elsewhere, Calina had just gotten word if the trial had risen to the next level. It was a relief to no longer have to meet Zio in the mediation courtroom.

"Thank you, sir!" calina ended her mobile call.

"Have it sorted out?" someone sitting in front of him.

"Hem.." nodded with a soft smile. "Thank you, yeah.. I owe you a lot.."

"I give you, not to pay you.. Don't think too much!" the answer.

"Thank you, yes." - Calina.

The man just nodded slowly. That handsome face always looked cold, as if it was difficult to just lift both corners of the lips to form a smile.

"Come, eat!"

"Yes." replied Calina.
