The Mystery Red Umbrella

The Mystery Red Umbrella
Night Ritual

The moon is shining so beautifully, the light is so bright tonight. The moon is so beautiful but behind the beauty of the moon there is a calamity that will soon occur if the evil witch can rise according to the plan.

The old castle in the middle of the forest, was filled with Marianas who were waiting for his resurrection. The old castle was given a protector by Mariana so that lay people could not see the existence of the castle. No one is allowed to mess up their rituals but Mariana and Nick know, Anna can certainly enter the castle even though she has been given protection.

Anna and Barrow moved cautiously along with their team. They stopped a little far from the castle. Their distance between the castles was quite far, therefore they had to wander through the forest to arrive at the castle. It was necessary for Mariana and her followers not to know of their arrival.

Anna and Barrow walked in front, leading the army because they had both been to the castle. By then the time has shown at eleven o'clock in the evening, another hour of Mariana revival ritual will be held.

The forest was traversed carefully, they were also wary of the forest beasts that were likely to attack them. Do not let them repeat the same events as that time. The sound of the night beast rang out, the ghosts present in the forest did not dare to appear because they knew the resurrection of a witch would happen any minute.

"Are we not stopping too far, Anna?" ask Barrow.

"If it gets too close then we'll get caught, Barrow!"

"But we've wasted a lot of time!"

"Keep going, Barrow. We better make a little more time than to be discovered. Troops could be in danger because they are our responsibility. No one should be a victim, we should be back alive!"

"Okay, okay. You're so right. I can't wait to kick that old man's ass!" barrow said because he had a grudge against Nick.

The more they moved forward, the location of the castle was getting closer. The atmosphere was suddenly silent, no more forest beasts were heard. Everything in the forest was moving away from the castle. No one dared to approach the castle. Anna stopped the move as well as Barrow. They hid behind a tree and peeked, but they were shocked to see that the castle they had come to did not exist.

"Hey, where's the castle?" barrow asked in a whisper.

"So, it looks like something's weird."

"What's? Don't tell me Mariana moved the castle somewhere else!" say Barrow again.

"No way, Barrow. I believe there is something strange, there is no way Mariana moved the castle in an instant. Although she's a witch but I'm sure she won't be able to do it!"

"All right, you're right. If he didn't move it, now where is the castle?"

"I'll see it," Anna came out of hiding, she was sure something was wrong. He'll check it out to find out.

"Anna, what am I going to do?" whisper Barrow.

Anna did not reply but she stepped slowly closer to the direction where the castle was located. He couldn't possibly have mistakenly remembered the location. Barrow looked alert, he would shoot if anyone attacked Anna all of a sudden. Anna was still stepping forward but she was shocked as she felt through a strange energy. Barrow is shocked to see Anna disappear.

"Anna," Barrow called out slowly and came out of hiding but he kept asking the troops to be in position. Strange, where'd Anna go? Why is Anna missing?

"Anna," Barrow stepped forward. Was Anna kidnapped by Mariana without her knowledge? Hopefully not remembering Anna is the mashup Mariana wanted. If that happens, he will lose track of Anna.

Barrow still called out to Anna in whispers, the hiding troops looked astonished at Anna's sudden disappearance. Barrow stepped back and suddenly, Anna appeared right in front of him. Barrow was startled, he almost shouted but Anna shut her mouth quickly.

"Stts..!" Anna put a finger to her lips.

"What's going on? Why did you disappear?" ask Barrow.

"Mariana made a protector so we can't see this castle" Anna replied.

"Damn it, what a wily witch!"

"Let's move!" Anna gave orders to the troops.

Anna stepped forward, followed by Barrow and the troops who were behind. Barrow was shocked as he felt that he was passing through a very heavy field. The troops in the back were the same, they felt like something was pushing their bodies and they felt like they were being stung by the electricity but it was not felt by Anna.

"What is this, Anna?" ask Barrow. He was like walking in a magnetic field with an extremely painful electric force.

"We're passing through Mariana's protector, Barrow."

"What's? Why is it like this?" ask Barrow again.

"Hold on, soon we'll pass this protector!" Anna grabs Barrow's hand, they continue to step forward until they finally pass the protector that Mariana created. Barrow took a breath but now he looked wide-eyed at the sight of the castle he thought was missing. The troops behind looked dazed as they did not understand what had happened and what they had just experienced.

"How is that possible?" barrow didn't believe it.

"I told you, Mariana hid this castle with her protective spell."

"Alright, it's a rare experience" Barrow said.

"Go ahead and take a position!" anna's orders.

The troops at the rear also split up, to take a predetermined position. Anna and Barrow move, with two firearms in hand. A strange singing voice rang out, the two of them looked at each other. They peered inside, there was nothing. In the dark, there was not a single light.

It seems like the ritual was performed underground, where they discovered the whereabouts of the bodies of the victims first. They entered slowly, without making a sound. The sound of singing to praise Mariana was increasingly heard, really crazy people worship the devil.

"Be careful, Barrow," whispered Anna slowly.

"I know, did you hear their hymns?"

"They're just a bunch of lunatics, don't ignore them! Our mission is to rescue the hostages. I hope my mom and aunt are okay!"

"They must be fine, so there's no need to worry."

"I know, let's hurry," they stepped closer to the sound, as if it was near yet they had to be startled by the sound of a girl's cry.

Barrow and Anna look at each other, damn it. They immediately ran towards the direction of the sound. It seemed to be Lucia's shout. Don't tell me they're late and something's happened to that poor girl.
