The Amulet That Shifted Hands

Anna was already in the hospital and was in Lucia's room. The girl was still unconscious, but Anna sat beside her to wait for Lucia to come to her senses. Tonight he will find out what Lucia is really going through when she is followed by the red umbrella for the first time.

The soul victims were numerous and Lucia was the only survivor so she would dig up information from him to uncover the case. He even bought a book for him to study. Of course, books about spirits and why spirits take someone's life.

Now he really became like a psychic. Looks like he's got to learn how to exorcise ghosts from Josh Lambert's partner in insidious movies. Maybe he would become an expert like them. Ck, stupid thoughts!

Nick is out to buy a hot drink, of course, for Anna. Two cups of coffee are already in hand, he will spend time together with Anna tonight. They'll talk while waiting for Lucia to wake up.

Both his parents are back home, Nick asks his mother to rest at home. After all, her mother had an illness. Do not let Lucia's condition has improved, her mother actually must be treated.

Anna looked at Lucia's face in silence. He could not bear to see the state of the innocent girl instead had to accept the anger of the spirit of the red umbrella. Whatever he's gonna do to save Lucia. Even if he had to face the spirit, he would definitely save Lucia.

Nick walked into the room, a smile adorning his face seeing Anna holding his sister's hand while closing her eyes. He wanted to know if Anna was predicting Lucia's future? If Anna Baker can tell fortune, she really has a lot of profession.

"What age is he getting married?" nick asked jokingly when Anna found out about his arrival.

"What do you mean?" anna asked not to understand.

"Aren't you foretelling my sister's future?"

"No, no" said Anna, not feeling well.

"All right, I'm just kidding. Here's to you" Nick gave Anna a cup of coffee.

"Thanks," Anna picked it up with a smile.

"May I ask you something, Anna?" Nick sat by his side, his eyes fixed on his sister's face.

"Of course you can, what do you want to know?" Anna glanced at Nick for a moment.

"Where do you have the ability, where do you get it?" ask Nick to know.

"Let's know, I suddenly saw the red umbrella just like that without me noticing."

"Is that the spirit that always bothers Lucia?" ask Nick. He really wants to know.

"Yeah" replied Anna. Even the hot coffee is covered.

"If so, please tell me how the ghost looks. Maybe I can recognize him."

"His face was pale" Anna frowned, recalling the figure of the red umbrella but it was difficult for her to reveal because of her terrible face, "And next to her mouth was torn," Anna said.

"Is that all?"

"His figure is hard to pin down with words, Nick. I wish I could have painted it maybe it was better but unfortunately I am not good at painting which must have been so pale that he looked terrible with his mouth torn off. The spirit also wears a red dress and always carries a red umbrella" explained Anna.

"I told you, don't rely on me, Nick. I'm not great, I'm just an agent and by chance I'm investigating a case related to what happened to Lucia so don't count on me. Tonight I'll accompany you but not tomorrow night because I have privacy and I also have to do my job so please don't rely on me" Anna said.

"Sorry, it looks like we've gone too far" Nick said.

"It's okay," Anna looked back at him and smiled. She can't always look after Lucia but how can she not be targeted by the red umbrella anymore?

The two of them were silent, Anna sipping her coffee again. If forced, inevitably he must give what he has to Lucia so that the girl is not disturbed anymore and so that the red umbrella does not do the action again.

Anna and Nick don't talk long enough until Lucia finally wakes up.  Like the first time, Lucia cried out in fear. It seemed like he was starting to hallucinate like he saw a terrifying figure being nearby.

"Go, go you guys!" lucia shouted as she flicked her hands up.

"Lucia, what's wrong with you?" Nick held both hands of his sister who continued to shake indistinctly.

"No, I saw it. He's black and horrible!" shout Lucia.

Anna scrunched her forehead and looked around. There was nothing much less a figure like Lucia had said. The girl was still screaming, terrified. Lucia also rebelled from the handle of her brother, Nick looks overwhelmed. Anna was still looking here and there, but she found nothing in the room other than them.

"Go, don't bother me. Go!" shouted Lucia in fear. He was even more hysterical and rebellious to the point that blood was flowing from his still-wet seams.

"Lucia, don't be like this!" nick shouted in frustration.

"Let go, he wants to kill me. He wants to kill me!" yelled Lucia hysterically.

Anna approached him, held Lucia's palm and placed something on the girl's palm. Lucia seemed surprised and suddenly she was like a daze even she was no longer shouting. Anna laid Lucia down slowly, the girl looked breathless.

"What about your situation, are you still seeing things?" ask Anna.

"No, they're very much. They surrounded me like they wanted to take me away. They all look so scary, I'm really scared. What should I do, Miss Anna," Lucia cried, she looked terrified and what she was going through wasn't made up.

Anna is getting excited about it. I don't know what happened to Lucia but she really didn't see anything in the room. Is this some kind of diversion?

"Now what about you?" ask Anna.

"They suddenly went away, nowhere to be seen again. What did Miss Anna give me?" Lucia opened her palm and frowned when she saw something in her hand.

"What's this?" he asked while looking at Anna with a clueless look.

"That's my mother's amulet, it's yours now so take it wherever you go. Hopefully nothing will bother you anymore as well as the spirit of the red umbrella," hopefully his decision to give the amulet is not wrong. Although her mother said the amulet could protect her from the evil spirits that were after her but to be honest, she did not believe it very much. After all, if the amulet is useful for Lucia's safety, he will give it.

"Thank you" Lucia hugged him and cried. Honestly, he could not stand it even when he realized, so many scary spirits were in the room but now the spirit was no longer there.

Anna rubbed Lucia's head slowly, now that she had come up with a solution so that she wouldn't have to look after Lucia every day. He really could not bear to see Lucia scared but he did not know if his decision to give the amulet to Lucia had actually brought him into great danger.
