Nick is shocked to see Anna's condition when she arrives. Anna was silent, not responding to the words of her mother and aunt. Anna was really like an empty shell that could not hear nor respond.

Anna's mother cried incessantly, her daughter's condition had not changed at all. The doctors checked Anna and they said Anna was in shock because she fell into the bottom of the abyss.

Anna's mother and aunt did not believe that. Before Anna realized, they heard Anna's screams and even Anna responded as they called out, but when Anna realized it was just like that.

"What happened to Anna, Aunty?" ask Nick. Both hands holding Anna's hand, Nick also looked at Anna's eyes that looked empty.

"We don't know, Nick. Anna already looked like that as soon as she regained consciousness" Anna's mother said.

"Did he not respond to anything?" ask Nick again. Strange, why did Anna become like that? What happened in the forest?

"Anan, what happened to you?" ask Nick.

Anna silently remained silent, not responding at all. Nick is so confused, Anna is really like not being with them.

"Did the doctor check her condition?" ask Nick to Anna's mother and aunt.

"Of course, the doctor said Anna was in shock because of that she became like this" the aunt said.

"How's shock? There was no way Anna would go into shock. After all, he wouldn't be like this just because of shock!" nick said he didn't believe it.

"We don't know either, Nick. Anna's situation wasn't like this before."

"I mean Aunty?"

"Before he knew it, he had a bad dream. Anna screamed like fear. We tried to wake her up and when she realized, she just became like this" Anna's mother said.

Their sadness cannot be overcome. Anna simply lay with her eyes open, motionless and showing no reaction whatsoever. Because of her condition, Anna had to be infused in order for her body to get fluids.

The atmosphere was silent, no one understood at all about Anna's state. Anna even seemed to be asleep, like nothing had happened to her.

"Did Anna have a bump on her head that made her like this, Aunty?" ask Nick again. She couldn't believe what was going on with Anna.

"No, bruises are only on his body. We have asked the doctor to check everything but there is no impact on the head" explained Anna's mother.

"Surprising" said Nick. Eyes looked towards the sleeping Anna.

"How about it, Nick. We confused?" said Anna's mother.

Nick doesn't look good, what can he do? Anna's circumstances are beyond their common sense. Nick looked at Anna's mother and aunt who were so worried, he really didn't know what to do.

"We'd better get Anna home, brother."

"Go home to Mommy?"

"Yes, we can take good care of Anna there. We're gonna find out what happened. I think Anna's situation is the result of the devil. I'm afraid Anna's soul is being shackled right now so we'd better take Anna home. There was a talisman, any demon would not be able to disturb Anna."

"Why do I have to take it home, Aunty?What if Anna was treated at my family's private hospital" Nick said.

The decision was already taken, aunt Anna immediately took care of the administration. Anna and Nick's mother prepare everything and it doesn't take long for Anna to wake up and be taken away from the hospital.

Anna was like a normal person, she could walk, she was also like yelling when asked to sit down. There was only one thing he couldn't do, he couldn't respond. They go home first, all Anna's belongings are taken. Not to forget the old book of the grandmother they also brought.

Nick is in the car, he looks so heavy letting go of Anna but he can't prevent what Anna's mother and aunt are going to do because what they're doing is for Anna's good.

Both of Anna's hands were grasped, Nick's eyes could not be separated from Anna's face even one hand had moved to Anna's face and rubbed it slowly.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, Anna. I hope you come back soon, no matter what happens to you. After this I'll help you solve the case you're in, I'll help you find Barrow and arrest him because he's the mastermind who made you this way. Whatever you're up against, we'll settle it together and once it's over, marry me" Nick said. Anna's one hand was raised and kissed.

"I love you and seriously, I want you to marry me after this" she said, but there was no response from Anna.

Anna was like a statue, her facial expression looking flat. Nick swore in his heart, all because of Barrow. It must have been because of that guy that Anna became like this.

"I can't see you like this!" Nick hugged Anna tightly, regret filling his heart. He should have gone after Anna, maybe Anna wouldn't have been like that.

"I love you, Anna. I hope you'll be back soon!!"

Anna's mother and aunt looked in silence, the man actually looked so serious with Anna. They hope Nick's wish can be achieved.

All the stuff has been brought into the car. Nothing is left behind. Nick seemed reluctant to get out of the car, Anna's face was rubbed again and her lips were slowly frowned upon. Sadness filled the heart because there was no response at all. Nick gets out of the car because Anna's mother and aunt are gone.

"Please let me know if things are okay, Aunty," Nick said.

"Surely, you can come at any time to visit her," said Anna's aunt.

"Tomorrow I'll see him with Lucia."

"We wait," they leave, thanking Nick for helping Anna. They also hugged the young man before parting ways.

Nick notices their departure, he hopes all is well and goes according to plan. After Anna is taken away, Nick returns.

Anna is taken by her mother and aunt back to her late grandmother's house. Anna was still like that, like an empty shell. She still did not respond to her mother speaking by her side but did her soul really go from her body or was it just a trick played by Anna to deceive the spirit of Mariana?! Deceptive or real, for sure he still did not respond to anything even he was like a living puppet.
