Barrow had finished examining the four girls who went with Lucia to the old house and went straight to the office because Anna was there. Anna had to explain the case she was working on to her boss for two hours but the captain did not believe what Anna was saying.
He thinks Anna is just making it up because of a difficult case he solved but Anna says it seriously. Although it sounds very unreasonable but inevitably the boss believes Anna's words because the case is a little awkward where there is no trace of the perpetrator at all.
Anna and Barrow are still entrusted with the case. After all, other agents are busy dealing with crimes that almost every day occur. Indeed Anna was eager to leave the case to others so that she would not be in contact with the spirit anymore but the captain still entrusted the case to her.
Barrow was greatly astonished when he saw Anna's disheveled-looking face as she arrived. He should not have spoken of the matter of the spirit so that the superior would not believe him anymore. It feels so sorry.
"What's wrong with you?" ask Barrow.
Anna sighed and nodded, Barrow knew something must have happened to his partner.
"Why? Were you being yelled at by the Captain?" ask Barrow.
"No, I think I want to resign from this case so I don't deal with spirits anymore."
"Why? Giving up is not your style, Anna."
"I know, but I feel like this case is very dangerous unlike the usual case. Even I feel like this case is more complicated than we're dealing with a real criminal or murderer."
"Hey, don't give up like that. There I am so we'll handle the case together."
"We have to deal with it together" Anna said.
"Therefore don't give up, you must have gained that ability for a purpose so use it well even though I don't like to get involved with subtle creatures."
"All right, you're right. What about what I asked you to do, did something happen to those four girls?" ask Anna.
"Of course I've been working on it. The four of them were fine, not experiencing what the girl was going through."
"Alright, this is really weird. Now it's time to go to the old house to look for clues" Anna asked as she left.
"What's the clue, Anna? Will the spirit leave footprints and fingerprints?"
"Ck, what are you going to do?"
"Of course you will" Barrow stepped up and chased after Anna who had already stepped away.
They will go to the old house that Lucia and her friends once visited. Barrow was carrying a car, while Anna was pointing at the road. They went a little far from the city, Lucia said that the old house was near the school but it wasn't.
The house was quite far away from the school, even going into the middle of a dense and silent forest. Anna and Barrow had been walking for two hours, the house could only be reached on foot. The forest is so quiet and dark because the trees are so shady.
The old house was already in sight, Barrow looked around and began to cringe. Anna was watching the surroundings, she was trying to find a figure she might be able to communicate with.
"Are you sure you're gonna get into that house, Anna?" ask Barrow to convince.
"Of course, who knows we can find gold bars!" goda Anna patted Barrow on the shoulder.
"Gold bars? I'm sure what we found was a ghost!"
Ana chuckled, they were already standing at the door of the old house. The door was already visible because it was made of wood. Anna and Barrow looked at each other, the flashlight was in hand with a gun and they kicked the door open.
Like any other old house, it was messy and dirty. The unpleasant smell of the old house was smelled. They stepped in slowly while aiming their flashlights.
"What if we split up" Anna asked.
"Are you serious?" Barrow saw it, to be honest he was a little horrified to be in that place let alone having to be alone.
"Of course, don't tell me if you're scared" Anna said.
"No, what am I afraid of!" said Barrow.
"Yes, you go right and I go left" said Anna.
"O..Okay," said Barrow, though he doubted.
The messy and dark room made Barrow shiver in fear. He did not see the spirit figure alone was already horrified, what about Anna who saw it directly? He could not imagine if he had to be Anna who could see that figure every time.
A room being a destination, Barrow gulped before entering the room. Damn, I hope there's no horrible ghost in there. In a single breath, Barrow kicked the door and aimed his firearm while shouting.
"What ghosts are inside raise your hands!" said it. The atmosphere was quiet, there was no one. Luckily the demons did not exist, it did not seem like they would bother a handsome man.
Barrow went back to tracing and so did Anna. Every room he went through was carefully investigated. Anna looked at every corner, she was also like looking for something. A box he found opened Anna. A flashlight was used to look at the contents inside the box but he felt that someone was watching him.
Anna looked around, there was no one. He even stepped towards a room where there was a sound of something falling.
"Barrow, is that you?" ask Anna.
The atmosphere was silent, no one answered but he continued to step closer to the room. Even when he was swallowed violently, he felt that there was something in the room. I hope it's not the evil spirit that's after her in the hospital.
Anna was still approaching the room with her heart beating. The sunlight that barges in is really not enough to illuminate the room due to dusty and dirty windowpanes, especially the vines that have covered some of the house. The flashlight moved to the right and to the left, Anna approached the room slowly.
The hunch said that something inside was getting stronger, he was ready to open the door but Anna had to be startled by something passing behind him.
"Barrow, don't startle me like that" Anna said, looking for a passing figure behind her.
There was no answer, Anna searched for quite a while but she did not see anything again until she finally decided to re-enter the room. The door of the room was opened, it looked dark inside like the other room. Anna stepped in, to be honest the air inside was pressing. The bed is still there even though it is dirty and has been damaged.
The goal is the closet, maybe he got something from there but the closet is empty. Anna continued searching until she was shocked by an old grandmother who suddenly sat on the chair behind her.
"What are you looking for?" the grandmother's voice almost made Anna's heart fall.
Anna turned away, a monstrous old figure looking towards her with a terrifying grin.
"Did you give Lucia that red umbrella?" ask Anna because she remembers Lucia saying if she got the umbrella from an old grandmother.
"It's me" replied the grandmother.
"For what? Does the red umbrella's spirit have a grudge against Lucia's family?"
"The evil of the past, must be avenged."
"What does that mean?" anna asked not to understand.
"It's best not to interfere in someone's grudge otherwise your life is at stake!" the figure of the old grandmother was seen flying out, her figure was like black smoke that was beginning to thin.
"Wait on! Please explain what kind of grudges there are?" anna shouted while chasing but the figure had already left.
Anna swore, damn it. Why do spirits like to disappear and appear suddenly? Anna was about to go back in but she was startled by Barrow patting her on the shoulder.
"Barrow, you can really kill me!" said Anna as she held her chest.
"I found something" said Barrow.
"What's that?"
"Let's come!" Barrow took her to the room where he found a large box and he felt that inside the box there was a clue for them.
Anna and Barrow looked at each other, they agreed to bring the box to open and see the contents.
"What's this?" ask Anna.
"May there be gold bars" said Barrow.
"Don't dream too much!" the box was heavy as they were about to take it out. They tried to pull but suddenly there was a wind blowing and a black cloth covering the mirror fell down.
Anna pointed the flashlight at the mirror and was shocked. Shit, behind them stood some scary-looking spirits.
