Anna suffered hyperthemia from the cold, as long as she was taken to the hospital Anna had received the first treatment.
Her mother and aunt waited impatiently, her mother even cried worried about her. Luckily Nick was there, they were very grateful to the young man. Nick hasn't even come home since last night because he's worried about Anna's situation. He stayed at home and so early in the morning Nick immediately asked the officers to look for Anna.
Such a sincere young man. Anna's mother and aunt can see her sincerity and draw conclusions if Nick is serious with Anna. All of that is proven by the actions Nick has shown. There is no doubt about Nick's self towards Anna.
They were already in the room at that time. Nick sat down by Anna's side and clasped her hands. The look in his eyes could not be separated from Anna's pale face. Anna is not yet self-conscious, so Nick looks so anxious.
"Go home to rest, Nick. We'll let you know if Anna's conscious." said Anna's mother.
"I'll stay here until Anna wakes up, Aunty," Nick said.
"But you haven't rested since last night so take a break for a while. We'll take care of him, so you don't have to worry."
Nick looked towards Anna who looked helpless, he was very unwilling to leave Anna in such a state but he did need a break.
"Go, it's okay. We will take good care of her" Anna's mother said.
"Well," Nick moved and gave a kiss on Anna's forehead, "I'll be back later, I hope you're conscious when I get back," he said, then Nick kissed Anna on the forehead.
Anna's mother smiled, hopefully this time her daughter's relationship with the young man works. Hopefully not like before, run aground in a matter of days.
Nick returns home even if he refuses. He needs to shower and change clothes. After Nick's departure, Anna's mother and aunt look after Anna for a while but not for long as they leave Anna to rest.
Anna was in her subconscious. He looked puzzled as he was in a building with a long and narrow passageway. The passageway was endless, Anna continued to step forward. I don't know what he's looking for, he doesn't know. Anna just followed her heart. He continued to step towards that endless passageway yet he was struck by the figure of a man standing in the corner.
Anna looked around, like looking for someone else. There may be others, but there are only two of them. Anna ventured closer to the figure of the man standing behind her.
"Hallo," Anna tried to call the man.
"W-Do you know where I am?" ask Anna again. He got closer to the man but the man did not react.
"Did you hear me?" ask Anna again.
"It's me, Anna," the man turned around, Anna was surprised to see him.
"Barrow," Anna doesn't believe in seeing Barrow there but what's up with Barrow?
His eyes were blind with burns in both eyes. Blood mixed with water flowed from both eyes.
"What's going on with you, Barrow? Where are we, is this place real?" ask Anna. He looked around again but the place looked strange and silent.
"It's just an illusion, Anna. We're in your subconscious" Barrow said.
"I don't know, Anna. When I returned, I had not felt anything strange yet but a figure that suddenly appeared took over my body so I was stunned. I feel lost in a dark hallway. Wherever I go, I can't find a way out. I can raise your voice, but I can't find your whereabouts. I feel like I'm stuck in a dimension filled with darkness, so help me, Anna. Help me out of this endless darkness" Barrow said.
Anna was silent, staring fixedly at Barrow. Was it because Barrow's eyes were so blind that he couldn't see the light to return? But is the one talking to him right now really Barrow? He should be vigilant and not wrong because Mariana could be deceiving him using the figure of Barrow. He had to remember the message from the protective spirit if he were to be vigilant and more astute.
"Please help me, Anna. I don't want to be trapped in this dark world" Barrow pleaded.
"I'll definitely help you, Barrow. I will help you and get you out of that dark place but be patient, I must find a way that I can free you so be patient. Wait I get a way to free yourself!" said Anna.
"Don't be long, Anna. I couldn't stand being in that dark place. I want to be free soon so don't be long!" pinta Barrow pleaded.
"I'll set you free, Barrow. I'll set you free" Anna's tears flowed, she was powerless to hold back the grief of Barrow's condition.
The tears that kept flowing made his gaze blurry. Anna wiped away her tears, Barrow's figure suddenly disappeared and was no longer visible from her sight. Anna looked astonished, both eyes rubbed because she did not believe what she saw.
"Barrow?" Anna called and looked for the figure of Barrow who was no longer visible.
"Barrow!" Anna shouted, what she just saw was an illusion?
Suddenly a light was at the end of the hall, Anna ran towards the light while shouting Barrow's name. He continued to run towards the increasingly visible light. Anna's run was getting faster, and faster until she finally broke through such a dazzling light
"Anna's... Anna!!" the voice of his mother's call.
Her mother and aunt were shocked as Anna shouted like she was having a nightmare. They looked panicked so they called Anna to have Anna come to their senses.
"Wake, Anna. Sober up!" pinta his mother crying.
Both of Anna's eyelids moved, her mother and aunt were delighted. They looked even more happy as Anna opened her eyes. Her mother cried while hugging Anna. He was really relieved that his daughter was conscious and looked fine.
"Mommy's so glad you're sober and all right, honey," said her mother.
"Aunty will call Nick immediately and tell him how you are. He's the one who's most worried about you so he should know right away" his aunt said.
"Are you okay, honey? Is anyone sick?" ask mother. He looked astonished as Anna was silent without answering their questions.
The mother was astonished, and so was her aunt. Anna's eyes looked blank, her mother and aunt looked at each other with astonished looks.
"Anna, what happened to you?" her mother cried and hugged her. What happened to Anna? Why does he seem to be not with them? Anna was already conscious but she was like an empty body without a soul.
"Don't be like this, Anna. Don't scare me, Mommy. Come back!" his mother shouted while crying.
The aunt could only calm her brother who was crying hysterically because of Anna's circumstances. What really happened to Anna? Why is he an empty shell without a soul?
