The Mystery Red Umbrella
New Problem

Barrow is still negotiating with a local cop he knows. Surely he wanted to enlist the police's help to search for the whereabouts of the box which they believed was not far from them.

For now, they had to find the whereabouts of the box first. The box they must get before the turn of the year and January arrives. Anna's grandmother did not write the date of Mariana's soul will rise but the turn of the year that soon makes them anxious. Anna chuckled, the book she was reading was abandoned. Anna follows Barrow who steps out, they do need a break and tomorrow they will look for the whereabouts of the box stolen from them.

"Come early tomorrow so we don't waste time" Anna said. They stepped closer to Barrow's car parked on the side of the road.

"Of course, don't go anywhere because we need a break!"

"I'm not going anywhere, Barrow," Anna stood by the side of Barrow's car but she suddenly felt that someone was watching them.

Anna was very astonished, her gaze looking around to look for the person who was watching them. Barrow was very astonished, not knowing what Anna was looking at but he was also looking around the deserted one.

"What's wrong?" ask Barrow.

"It's like someone's been watching us" Anna replied. He's still looking, looking for suspicious people.

"You sure?" Barrow who was in the car came out again.

"Of course I'm sure, Barrow. Let's not say our suspicions are true."

"Not sure yet, is it? Don't be so prejudiced, come in for a break!" Barrow's back in the car.

"You're right, I'm going to sleep, too. Like my aunt and mother, I don't have to worry that spirit will come to be you."

Barrow chuckled, the car's engine running. He's coming home for a break because tomorrow they're going to be busy looking for the box. Anna waved and again, she felt that someone was looking at her. Anna makes sure to look around, but the man hides behind a tree to keep Anna from seeing him. Although he was sure that someone was sure but he could not do anything.

"Good, Mom!" Anna goes to the living room to retrieve the cell phone she left there. Smiles decorate the face when seeing people who contact.

"Just take a call from a handsome guy" he said.

"Hopefully this handsome guy doesn't interfere with Miss Anna's time" Nick said as he was the one who contacted Anna.

"What's up, Nick? Don't tell me you miss me when we haven't seen each other in a day" Anna teased.

"What if I miss you, Anna. You don't mind, do you?"

"Well, you make me flattered. How's Lucia doing?"

"Lucia's fine, she said she wanted to meet you to talk about something."

"Is there anything important?" Anna is starting to look serious.

"Looks. What if tonight's dinner with me, Anna? There's something important that I want to discuss with you," Nick asked. He hopes Anna is willing to accept his dinner invitation.

"Maybe, Anna Baker can't refuse an invitation from a handsome man!"

"I'm glad to hear that, I'll pick you up tonight."

"I'm waiting, Nick," despite the situation, but he has to enjoy his time as well.

After agreeing to have dinner with Nick, Anna searches for her mother with a beaming face. Her mother and aunt were astonished to see the expression on her face that looked so happy.

"Why are you so happy, Anna? Did Barrow take you out on a date tonight?" asked aunt.

"Not Barrow, Aunty. Another handsome guy who took me out to dinner."

"Well, who's the guy who made you like this? Looks like I have to investigate it properly," his mother joked.

"An acquaintance, Mommy's gonna meet him tonight because he's gonna come pick me up."

"Mommy can't wait to see him" his mother said.

Anna smiled, so she couldn't wait for the night to come. He has not spent a long time outside, tonight he wants to enjoy his time because for a few days he is too busy with complicated cases but before that he breaks first.

Anna went into the room with her mother and aunt. The feeling if he is being looked back upon he feels. Anna stepped towards the open window. The shutters were grabbed, Anna looked out meticulously but there was no one. Strange, is there a spirit that's after him? Hopefully not because he wants to rest so he doesn't get sleepy at dinner with Nick.

The window is closed, the curtains are closed. After the case was over he was about to go to Hawaii, sunbathing with the handsome men. Anna got on the bed, she wanted to sleep but her eyes and mind could not be invited to cooperate because again she thought of Mariana's descendants. Who is the pure descendant of Mariana?
