Anna escorted Barrow back, along the way Barrow just kept quiet without talking about anything. It's the first time Barrow's been like that as long as they know each other and become partners. Barrow never spoke a thousand languages like that.
Strangely enough, the attitude that Barrow showed was seen when they came even though Barrow had become him but his strange attitude became more and more after the meteka decided to leave the cliff.
Anna glanced at Barrow once in a while, to be honest she was worried. Barrrow's eyes were even blank, he didn't look excited at all. Barrow even ignored her and did not reply as Anna invited him to go out to eat. Normally he would be excited but today, like there was no passion of life in him.
"Barrow, what's wrong with you?" Anna married herself. He was sure something was wrong and he was afraid that someone was following Barrow when they returned from the castle. He also became suspicious because Barrow had disappeared for a while when the police arrived. He had not asked this in more detail but he was sure Barrow would not answer in such a state.
True to his guess, Barrow did not reply. He was silent, looking towards Ana as well. Anna is scared now. Don't let anything happen to Barrow because he's involved in the red umbrella.
"Barrow, why are you quiet?" really he misses the perverted Barrow as always.
"Shut up!" Barrow shouted out loud, Anna to the surprise of her making.
"What's wrong with you, Barrow?" the car stopped on the side of the road, Anna looked at the fellow with a look of wonder. The Barrow he's with right now, isn't Barrow.
"Barrow?" Anna called back because Barrow just kept quiet and looked at her sharply.
"Shut your mouth, Anna Baker!" said Barrow. Now Barrow turned around, looking at him sharply with an expression of dislike.
"Who are you? You're not Barrow!" said Anna.
"I'm Barrow, are you blind? I'm sick of you, Anna. If it wasn't for Mariana wanting you, I would have pushed you at the bottom of that cliff!"
"What do you mean, Barrow?" anna's tears trickled down, she didn't accept Barrow to the point of being played with by Mariana's demons like that.
"Ha... Ha.. Ha.. Ha!" Barrow laughed heartily at Anna's tears.
Anna couldn't say anything, she really didn't expect Barrow to be like that.
"Save your tears for Nick Devan, there's no need to show those tears to me because of what you love Nick Devan!"
"Why are you saying that?"
Anna was shocked to hear Barrow's words. He even looked dazed, trying to digest every word Barrow said. Barrow got out of the car and stepped away, Anna still looked dazed but not for long as she immediately got out of the car and chased after Barrow.
"Wait, Barrow. What do you mean by that word? Are you making a joke or are you being serious?" ask Anna.
"Anna Baker, you're an agent you should know what I mean!" said Barrow.
"No, I know it's not you, Barrow. You've never been like this before, I know you're not this bad and I know you're not purebred Mariana!" said Anna. It is deduced from Barrow's words that he was of Mariana descent. He hoped it was just a demonic trick to deceive him but what if Barrow's words were true?
"You can deduce it yourself, Anna!" Barrow stood in the middle of the road, a car speeding towards him. He seemed to want to crash himself into the car, of course Anna ran to prevent it.
"Stop, Barrow!" shouted Anna. The car was so close, who hit Barrow's body. Anna was so frightened, she was even about to close her eyes yet she did not expect, she said, when Barrow stretched out one hand to the front suddenly like there was a force that held the speed of the car so that the car stopped to the point that the part of the car was lifted up and the car crashed into the car over the asphalt hard.
Anna was surprised, Barrow was like someone else who gained superpowers. He even pulled the car owner and threw him out onto the road asphalt. Anna is at a loss for words, Barrow takes her car to Anna and stops her car.
"You see, Anna. I have the power, you can deduce it yourself!" after saying so, Barrow took the car away.
"Hey, give me back my car!" shouted the car owner.
Anna cries after Barrow's departure. No way, no. He believes the man is not Barrow but even if he denies it, the man is Barrow. Her tears were dripping nonstop, she really didn't expect Barrow to turn out like that. What the hell is going on?
The car owner was still shouting, Anna gave him a ride to a crowded place. She doesn't come back right away, Anna goes to Barrow's house but it looks like Barrow isn't coming back. He came back crying full of regret, inwardly asked. Is Barrow really Mariana's descendant? But how is it possible? After all they had gone through yet all of that could have happened because Mariana wanted to trick herself even what was happening right now could have been Mariana's trickery for a purpose or to protect the Purebloodline the real.
Anna was silent, thinking of the fellow who suddenly changed. Barrow was fine when they came back, no one was following them. He's the one who ran Barrow, he can see if anyone's following his partner but he doesn't see anything.
Anna also recalled the words spoken by Barrow while on the cliff. He seemed to be very curious as to what he was about to do, was that his wish or was there someone controlling Barrow?
Face rubbed with rough, dizzy. Red umbrella, he had to find the spirit of the red umbrella and invite him to speak. He knew the spirit was the key as he had said before. He was also sure the spirit knew what was going on. Other than that spirit, he had no more clues. Now he has to work alone but he really hopes Barrow's situation will improve soon. He would ask his mother for an amulet, he remembered his grandmother had an antidote talisman at home. Maybe if he put up such a talisman in Barrow's house, Barrow's situation would improve.
I hope my mom and aunt can help. He'd better go home and tell me what's going on and he'll be back tomorrow. Anna took her car away unaware that a black figure like a thin black shadow was standing in front of Barrow's window.
The figure noticed himself, with a wide grin decorating his face. Anna Baker, she's got it. The black figure simply disappeared, soon the full moon and by then everything would have changed. After Anna's departure, Barrow returns with something in hand. Fresh blood dripped, Barrow went inside and closed the door tightly.
