The Beast Attack

Two lionesses were still attacking Anna, while Barrow was already being pulled by a huge snake out of nowhere. Only the sound of Barrow's cry could be heard breaking the silence of the night.

The sound of the night beast was not even heard as the sound of Barrow's increasingly longer screams grew increasingly inaudible. Anna cusses, she has to be fast because she can lose Barrow.

Two hungry lions step around her, Anna keeps a gun but she picks up the dope she accidentally carries. He was carrying the dope gun just in case in such a situation so that he would not kill any animals within the forest.

The two hungry lions were still after him, he had to wait for the right time to fire the stun gun. The dense forest did have many dangers, besides the danger of wild beasts they also had to be wary of the others.

One lion was ready to pounce on him, the lion's saliva even dripped between his teeth. Anna looked carefully at the two lions, who would attack first she had to know. The two lions were still walking around her, Anna stepped back and became more alert because she did not know which one would attack her first.

A faint Barrow cry sounded in the silence of the night, hopefully Barrow could fight the beast that attacked him but just then Barrow's body began to be pulled up onto a large tree. Barrow was even surprised when he saw the magnitude of the snake before him. May Anna come quickly otherwise she will be crushed by the twists of the great serpent. He wanted to fight but both of his hands were already wrapped around the snake's tail. Somehow he felt always unlucky, after coming home later he would soak milk with twenty types of flowers so that bad luck went from him of course he wanted to soak with Anna.

One of the lions that was after Anna started jumping towards Anna. Anna, who had been alert, immediately dodged and fired an anesthetic weapon at the lion. The sound of a firearm eruption rang out, Anna had just shot but she had to be startled by another lion who ambushed her all of a sudden.

Anna fired again, this time two pushy bullets due to a sudden attack. The dope he used was so potent, it was the dope he used when drugging Barrow. The first lion had fainted followed by the second lion who fainted and fell on his body.

Anna screamed as a result of the weight of the lion's body that befell her. Anna even had trouble moving because of the lion's body.

"Damn!" he swore while pushing the body of the lion and trying to pull himself. Anna tried for a long time until she was finally free from the lion that tricked her.

Unwilling to waste time as Barrow was in danger, Anna immediately ran where Barrow had disappeared earlier and followed the trail above the grass.

"Barrow!" Anna yelled for Barrow while looking for him around the place.

Traces of Barrow's body dragged by snakes are still visible, Anna still follows the trail which eventually ends up near some large trees.

"Barrow!" Anna called and searched around but Barrow was nowhere.

The sound of a snake hissing rang out, Anna dashing towards the direction the voice came from. Barrow was already wrapped between the branches of the tree. He was speechless as a result of the snake's tightly winding.

"Barrow!" Anna yelled out a call but she did not find Barrow's whereabouts.

Barrow was on the verge of death, he already felt unable to breathe even he felt his bones would crumble in a moment.

Anna continued to search below but there was nothing, the sound of the snake's hiss sounded not far away. Anna looked up and pointed the flashlight up and was shocked to see a large snake wrapped around Barrow's body and the snake was about to swallow it.

"Barrow!" Anna took the knife and threw it at the big snake that wanted to swallow Barrow. He did not use an anesthetic weapon because he wanted to kill the snake that was about to kill Barrow.

The knife he threw stuck right into the snake's head. The snake twisted and soon the snake fell down along with Barrow's body.

Anna immediately ran up to Barrow, and pulled him out of the winding of the dead snake. Barrow seemed to be motionless, he was not breathing so much that it made Anna panic.

"Barrow, wake up Barrow!" Anna patted Barrow in the face and shook him but Barrow did not react at all.

"Barrow, don't die like this!" Anna returned to barrow's body, but there was no reaction.

"Hold, Barrow. Hang in!" he said, without feeling his tears.

"I won't let you die under these circumstances!" Cpr is again given and artificial breath. Hopefully the effort works out and sure enough, Barrow wakes up and coughes as Anna presses his chest too hard.

"Barrow!" Anna was very happy and hugged him.

Barrow grimaced in pain and gathered energy, what an event no one had ever wanted.

"W-What happened? Am I dead in the belly of a snake?" ask Barrow. All over his body was in pain, his chest was really sore.

"Stupid, you really scared me!" said Anna.

"I don't want to go through this either, Anna," Barrow rubbed his painful chest.

"Are you okay??" Anna let go of her embrace and examined Barrow's state carefully.

"Do you judge me, Anna?" barrow asked because Anna wiped away her tears.

"I'm worried about you, Barrow. We better be more careful after this!!" Anna took the flashlight away, but Barrow withdrew his hand.

"Why? You shouldn't cry like this!"

"I'm not just crying today, I've been crying over you when you're under Mariana's influence so don't overdo it!"

"Why?" barrow asked that again.

"Let's go, I don't know!"

Barrow pulls Anna back so Anna falls in his arms. I don't know what happened to Barrow, don't say the snake bit him so he was exposed to snake venom but the big snake has no poison.

"Barrow, we're running out of time!"

"For a moment, I want us to be like this!"

Anna raised her face, looking at the man fixedly. Barrow was also fixedly staring at her so as to make the two of them drugged. The two of their faces were getting closer, Anna's eyes were already closed as Barrow landed a light kiss on Anna's lips. Finally the friendly scene that he wanted happened as well.

Both of Anna's hands were coiled around her neck, they kissed for quite a while in the middle of a large snake carcass but after they were done, they both became awkward and misbehaved with what they had just done.

"I-I'll make a torch" said Barrow. Shit, they shouldn't be so awkward like that but to be honest, he was very happy.

Anna was holding onto her warming face, what is this? The kiss she did felt different to the kiss she did together with Nick. He should not think about it because they have to look for the existence of Natalie's tomb which is still far away in the forest.
