The failure of the engagement to one of the heirs makes a woman wrathful. Although she has become the daughter of a famous family, but her figure is only a stepchild always disturbing his life. He wanted to have a dangerous person at once that others could fear. No one dared to laugh at him. But all of that was destroyed overnight.
Recalling all her wishful thinking gone in the blink of an eye because of the woman who did not know her origin, Nathalie ransacked the dressing table in front of her. "Well, what exactly is less than me? Why all men prefer that cheap woman. Laurent used to be a prima donna. Now that woman out of nowhere is back messing with my plans. Damn, huh!"
Nathalie screamed hysterically, the table that was previously neatly arranged, was now irregular and shattered. Cosmetics are also other objects scattered just like that on the floor due to his actions. A moment later, the sound of the door opening stopped the woman's rampage.
"You angry?" said a man who was none other than his stepfather.
Nathalie did not answer. He just stared at the reflection of himself in the mirror with an unpleasant expression.
The man approached, putting both hands on the shoulders of his stepson. He slightly bent down and whispered something right next to Nathalie's ear. "Sounds like Michael so much?" he said slightly gripping the stepson's shoulder.
"Bu–not so. I'm just—" No time Nathalie answered a woman who was none other than Nathalie's mother entered the princess's room.
"Darling, are you here?" ask the woman to her husband.
The man's expression changed in the blink of an eye. He re-emphasized the grip before finally letting go of Nathalie's shoulder and standing upright, turning to look at his wife with a smile. "So I heard Nathalie who was angry about last night. I was just trying to calm him down. Don't you think, honey?"
"Yes, Ma. Papa was just advising me," Nathalie reasoned.
"It's only natural that Nathalie gets angry, honey. How could Michael prefer that cheap woman over our perfect Nathalie in public. Maybe his eyes are too blind" Annabelle Broccoli said.
“Already, Baby. You don't have to be angry like that. They were also newly engaged. We can easily separate them later. I also can't miss the opportunity to be able to message the family just like that.” Bean pulled out the wallet in his pocket. He took out a gold card and handed it to Nathalie. “Well, you should shop instead of thinking about an uncertain problem,” he said then kissed the head of the stepdaughter who was still sitting in her position.
Annabelle was delighted that her new husband was able to accept her as his wife and daughter well. “You are indeed a good and understanding Papa, Dear.”
“Of course. Natalie's my daughter, too. I must love him as much as you.” Bean then kissed Annabelle on the forehead like a romantic husband. “I go first, Darling.”
“Be careful!” annabelle said she was avenging her husband.
Bean came out of Nathalie's room. He smiled faintly, where he had been able to convince his wife if she was the ideal husband.
After seeing her husband's departure, Anna immediately approached the princess who was still silent. “Otherwhat are you thinking, honey? Use the money your father gave you to hire people! Find out who that cheap lady is and where she came from! If you need to get rid of him as soon as possible so that you no longer get in the way of being the young nyona of the Wilson family!”
“Means, Mama?” nathalie asked to make sure her hearing was not wrong.
“True what was said, Mama. I can't just back off because of a worthless rotten fly. I have to act fast and ensnare Michael better than that damn woman. We only met once, after I tried to get close to him, he would definitely turn around and be enchanted at me later, Nathalie's inner” complete with a devilish smile curling across her face. “Alright, Ma. I'll snatch it in a more elegant way.”
“That's new son, Mama.” Annabelle gave the princess a business card. “Contact them! The performance is quite reliable!”
“Mama, indeed the best.” Nathalie immediately changed her appearance and left. However, just down the stairs he was again stared cynically by his half-brother. “Cih, cheap base,” said a man whose age is far below Nathalie.
“What did you say?” snapped Nathalie windy.
“Already. Don't take too hard for what your sister says! He just carelessly spoke," said Annabelle to calm her son down.
"I go first, Ma," said Nathalie then glanced at her stepbrother for a moment. "Review you!"
Nathalie immediately moved towards the place recommended by the mother. A building that can be said to be very quiet, is also scary just by looking at the building. "You have to be brave, Nathalie," he muttered to himself for the first time to set foot in such a place.
He tried to vent. Nathalie stepped arrogantly towards a place where the gangster members seemed to glance at the cynical beautiful woman who was now moving towards the leader's table.
"You're the leader here?" nathalie asked unceremoniously looking at a man as if sitting on her throne. It was completely different from the others who just stood up.
"What do you want?"
Nathalie slightly gulped with great difficulty. Getting a sharp look from the man who was full of tattoos, his service was like entering the lion cage. When all eyes were on him as if preparing to pounce like prey.
However, he ventured out and grabbed a brown envelope full of money from his bag and threw it on the table right in front of the man. "Find out who that woman was engaged to Michael Wilson last night. I'll pay triple if you can take his life!"
The man grabbed the envelope without expression. He counted the numbers inside with just one thumb movement. "You underestimated us?" he said with a sharp glance at Nathalie while throwing back the money.
Almost Nathalie was unable to contain her fear at this moment. However, his strong determination made him endure from the arrogant attitude of the man before him. "Say how much do you want? I'll obey him."
"Three times over for information, ten times for his life and this is just a down payment."
Nathalie's eyes widened almost out of place upon hearing the man's offer. "Are you trying to blackmail me?"
