Chapter 17: Going Again

Living in a castle is hard enough for Laura Orca. Michael treated her like a prisoner. Not only limited access, even breaking up to connect with the outside world without Michael's permission. 

Laura not only had to quit her job without saying goodbye. He had not even been able to get in touch with Catherine since living in this place, so the information obtained was very limited. Although the facilities provided by Michael are very adequate, and arguably luxurious. Not for Laura, though. For him this was a living prison, which should only exist in a fairyland and not be real like this.

In order to eliminate boredom, Laura chose to walk around the castle area. The view outside was quite calming, but the atmosphere inside was gripping. Laura's days are full of threats. Either life or something. Michael seemed not to let him live a quiet life, even though he had obeyed the man's will.

"Fucking michael! I'm like a bird in a cage. Can only eat, sleep, and urinate." He leaned a little forward." How could I escape from a building this tall. There I die later. After all I also have no wings like a bird," murmured Laura single-handedly gazing deep down where she stood. 

He could only enjoy the beautiful scenery while enjoying the breeze that hit his face. Before long, several black cars drove from a distance, provoking Laura's curiosity to see him. A few men descended from it, and were about to make a move to meet Michael. However, the figure of the man who could be said to be no longer young, but not also old turned his head to the top where Laura was standing at this time. 

There was a strange feeling for Laura as they looked at each other from a distance. "What feeling is this?" laura's mind did not expect her hand to suddenly shake violently. 

The man did not smile, did not say hello, or simply bowed his head to Laura after looking at her from a distance and immediately moved inside to meet Michael. 

"Master," the man greeted Michael. 

"What's wrong?" michael asked coldly. 

"Master, there's a big problem. There was a rebellion in Jacob's family. The Great Lord asks you to support him," the man reported firmly. 

Michael just breathed heavily. Sure enough what he was thinking, a huge problem came back after him even before his wound dried up. "Go! I'll catch up later." 

After saying the meaning of his arrival. They leave immediately, and Michael first searches for Laura. "Where's Laura?" ask him to the castle manager. 

With a firm step Michael looked for where Laura was. It didn't take long, her eyes caught the girl sitting with both legs bent and eyes out of nowhere. "What happened to her?" inner Michael. 

The sound of Michael's stern footsteps resuscitated Laura from her daydream earlier. The girl then stood up from her position and acted as if nothing had happened. He can't express his feelings until Michael is suspicious later.

"Don't think of jumping from here if you don't want to lose a leg!" michael warned Laura coldly. 

"I'm not that stupid either" said Laura Ketus.

"Thank God you understand. I have business, maybe some days this won't be here. You can enjoy your days." Michael stood right beside Laura and stared at the trees in front of him.

"Since you're not around, can I go back to my house? After all there is nothing I can do here and I have not resigned from my job either" Laura said trying to negotiate with an enthusiastic face and made as blank as possible. Unfortunately, that doesn't apply to Michael Wilson.

Michael then approached and gripped the chin of the girl was very strong. "Don't expect or dare walk out that door without my permission if you still love your life—" 

"Sit down and stay here or I'll take your life as payment." Michael had not had time to continue his sentence already in the sidelines by Laura. The threat issued by Michael was clearly imprinted in his memory for overhearing those words. 

"It's good that you understand! I'll go first." Michael let go of his hand and turned around with a small smile. Not that he was upset, but he thought it was very funny when Laura repeated her threat like that. As if all that was meaningless to the girl and just like a history lesson worth memorizing. 

However, after Michael left, Laura also changed her expression. The different feeling of the man staring at her earlier made the girl feel confused as well as curious. "If I can't get out of this place. Then I'll look for clues in this place" murmured Laura with a sharp, burning highlight.
