Chapter 51: The Midnight Tragedy

Many people do not believe in the existence of supernatural beings in this world, especially those who have experienced technological advances. A woman's laughter sounded clearly while muttering something strange in the hearing. Mich slowly opened his eyes, the voice sounded cold and terrifying. He turned his eyes towards the bed where Laura was.

The eyes of Laura looked at him sharply. The woman smiled grinningly revealing a row of her teeth, so Mich immediately gasped for a moment. He could not believe that the beautiful face, now turned out to look very bad and scary. Under the dim light, Laura's skin turned black, especially on the circumference of her eyes and her body seemed to shrink as if it had not been fed for a month.

"Laura," called Michael as he flung the blanket over his body and slowly tried to approach Laura, observing what was happening to his wife.

"They men are traitors. There is no need to apologize for what they did. Death is the best pardon, and he must also die in your hands" Laura muttered in a very fast tone like an invisible being casting a spell.

However, a second later Laura changed her expression and her voice became raucous. He turned his gaze to Michael who was trying to get close. "Mich, why are you doing this? Why should I be tied up, Mich. Release please! It was very painful, Mich," said Laura, groaning.

"Laura, are you really Laura?" Michael quickly approached, but as he was about to touch the rope that bound Laura, he recalled Father Vincent's message before leaving.

Satan will deceive man with all his tricks. In addition, the figure of Laura who is now in front of him is very different. No, Michael chose to undo the intention and did not directly comply with Laura's request to release him. He returned his steps while shaking his head.

"Mich, I'm Laura. Are you crazy to trust the words of that con man more!" Suddenly Laura whimpered and cried with great heart-wrenching. But nothing came out of his eyes. "Mich, don't you love me anymore? Do you now think of me as a crazy woman, Mich."

Not believing in supernatural things and also a little faith that makes Michael reeling lulled with every persuasive sentence that came out of Laura's mouth. He was confused as to what to do. However, the groaning of the wife really knocked down Michael's defense at that time.

He decided to slowly move back in, and tried to untie Laura's right-hand rope. However, when it had just been rope it was a little loose. The sound of the door opening caused Michael to look back for an instant.

Surprisingly, Laura's hand that was almost free immediately again strangled Michael's neck. "You must die! You deserve to die!" he said with a hateful tone like a demon who finds its prey.

Michael pulled out the gun he always had in his pocket and pointed it at Laura. But the woman challenged him. "Well, right! Look at! He even intended to kill you with his own hands," Laura quipped in a raucous voice.

"Sister." Quickly, Nathan ran up to Michael who was already red-faced. He tries to break away, but Laura's grip strength is so great that even a sumo wrestler, Michael is not easy to let go and almost out of breath.

"Sister-in-law, let go!" Nathan swiftly let go of Laura's hand with all his might and tied her back even tighter. It wasn't easy for Nathan to help Michael. He also had to be injured by the clawing of the sharp nails of his brother-in-law in his hands, before finally completely freeing Michael from death that almost took his life.
