Dinner went well. Michael and Argon were talking about a serious matter together in a room. No one knows what the mind of Argon is right now. His father always brought out his loving side only when they were both like now.
"Do you really love her?" argon asked his son directly, without further ado. The man was standing on a balcony, staring outwards, with a gaze fixed on the spot where a girl was sitting on a garden swing by herself.
I don't know why there was something else in the memory of when Argon first saw the girl. It was a strange feeling that made him quite comfortable.
"Whether it's love or not. But I will keep him, Pa," replied Michael confidently stepping up to his father and standing beside him.
"What about the other woman?"
"Mama brought him here. He was the one who was betrothed to me. But, Papa must know love can't be forced." Michael stopped his words. How humiliating. He didn't even expect to be able to say such stupid words.
Argon simply nodded and smiled in relief. What his son said was not wrong. She herself could not feel a happy marriage because she was betrothed to Lady, while her true love somehow disappeared to where it took her whole heart and never came back. This time he was quite proud of Michael's decision to take matters into his own life.
"If you really love her. Better marry her soon. Don't let outsiders easily get into your life! If you don't want to be sorry for the rest of your life," Argon told his sincere son. "Like me," he continued inwardly.
Michael understood what his father said. In his mind, Argon is a figure who only loves one woman, namely his biological mother. Although they just call him mistress. However, what happens between Argon and Lady who never produce romance is too obvious if it is not considered as love clapping one hand. Although it feels funny, when two people don't love each other, but Nathan still grows between them.
The two of them looked back at the night view. The breeze carried a gust of cold wind, but the girl on the other side only fell silent with something raging in her mind earlier. "What's he thinking?" michael's mind with a frown in the distance.
"James act again" said Argon, breaking the silence.
Michael just nodded. "Since the beginning he and his men have always broken through our defenses from behind, led by Zack."
However, it seems he still holds a grudge for Argon, so the man always just overwhelmed him. It also causes the upbringing of Michael harder since childhood compared to children his age.
Although Argon was a military man, there were cases he could not touch directly. Therefore, in order to help his country he founded the King Master. They are helping the military in secret. Therefore, Argon became a figure that is quite famous among the bottom.
"The main gun-making factory is already on our side. But, it was likely that they would strike back from behind." Michael smirked small. "They're just cowards who attack in the dark."
Argon knew what his son was thinking. Michael has always gone beyond the limits he expects as a leader. Unfortunately, the boy had no intention of enrolling or joining the military and Argon understood that.
"You are very similar to him," inner Argon smiled painfully recalling someone else in his life.
On the other hand, Laura who was sitting alone in the garden just fell silent staring at the darkness. His focus stalled at a point, but his mind worked quite hard alone.
He raised his head, the further his wish for a star-studded sky in space. "Mother, what's your problem with this family?" inner Laura while closing her eyes for a moment. He re-imagined how the mother could still smile, despite the death before his eyes.
Unknowingly the warm circles flowed in the corner of Laura's eyes after a long time. Both of his hands clenched, until it shook violently. The feeling of destruction re-enters in a girl who should be enjoying the happiness of life.
"I'll repay them all by breaking even, Mother. Bless me from heaven!" he said in his heart, until shortly afterwards the voice of someone broke his dream.
"What are you doing here alone?"
