The Regrets of the Child and Husband

The Regrets of the Child and Husband
BSC 19'S

Amar looked confused. She was ready to go to work, but what about her two children? Meanwhile, Nana had already left first for school. What about Aliyah?

Amar took a long breath. Baffled. Gaffi and Amri had not taken a bath at all. Amar scratched his neck. She never bathed her children at all. While busy struggling with his thoughts, the sound of the door being knocked sounded in his ears. With Amri in the sling later, Amar immediately went to the front and opened the door. Until a middle-aged woman who he knew was one of their neighbors. The distance of the house is 5 houses.

"Assalamualaikum," said the mother.

"Wa'alaikumussalam salam. What's up, Mom?"

"Oh yes Mr Amar, Aya hear that Bu Aliyah is sick? Is that true? I had been back home a few days ago so I just found out this morning. Oh yes, this is a gift for Bu Aliyah and the children" said the mother handed a black bag to Amar.

Amar greeted her with a faint smile, "thank you, ma'am. About Aliyah, I was right. My wife is in the hospital right now."

"Astaghfirullah, what is Aliyah's mother sick? I often see Mrs Aliyah looking very pale. But every time I ask, Miss Aliyah always says it's okay."

'Don't talk to anyone else, with her own husband Aliyah never talks about her pain.'

Ah, Amar forgot, how Aliyah wanted to tell a story, while Amar alone as if there was never time for her little family. Amar also never wanted to hear the complaints of Aliyah. So it is natural that Aliyah never wants to discuss what she experienced with others. Moreover, Aliyah included a quiet woman. She never opened her disgrace or her family, especially her husband with others. Even if it's with his own family.

Amar's face looks sad, Amar's neighbors so bad to want to question him again.

"Ah, if Mr. Amar can't say it yet, it's okay. May Aliyah's mother recover as soon as possible, sir. Oh yeah, I'm actually here to get my clothes."

"mother's clothes? Meanin?"

"Father does not know, Ms. Aliyah took a job as a washing worker here. I am one of them. Because my clothes have been given since a week ago, maybe my clothes have been washed. Can Mr Amar help me get my shirt?"

Clearly, Amar widened his eyes. He never knew that Aliyah took the money to wash the clothes of her neighbors. Since when? Andwhy?

Amar immediately remembered, lately the side dishes are complete and delicious. Both breakfast and dinner, all menus really suit his taste. Aliyah never complained about spending less money.

'What because of that?' inner wondering.

Amar's head nodded slowly. Amri was sitting on the living room sofa, but Amri actually shouted not to be left behind. Amar could only sigh deeply. He again grabbed Amri into his carrier and walked to the room where Aliyah kept the washed clothes, but had not been ironed.

Arriving there, Amar saw several large bags. Then Amar checked, it turned out that everything contained clothes. Amar's shoulders slumped. There were too many surprises that he only learned about after Aliyah fell into a coma. He can't seem, he's a really bad husband. He never understood his own wife. He always ignored his wife. And now the fact of his other tyranny he found again. He had forced Aliyah to make extra money by washing her neighbors clothes. How stupid he is. How horrible he is. As a husband, he should be a home for his wife, but instead, he becomes hell for his wife and children.

Amar was standing in front of his office. While holding Amri and holding Gaffi, Amar entered the office that looked lonely. Not lonely because there are no people, but lonely because all are busy with their respective work.

Amar was determined to take 1 week off to take care of Aliyah and her children. He hopes, in one week Aliyah there is progress. He hopes that, in one week, Aliyah will soon wake up.

Amar then entered the HRD room. He met with HRD leaders and handed over his leave of absence.

"For approval, please see Mr. Amar Tommy first" said the HRD chief of staff.

Amar then nodded and rushed towards the superior room.

"alright. I gave you permission, but only one Sunday. No more, do you understand?"

"Good, Sir. I've understood. Thank you" said Amar, smiling.

When going down to the lobby, Amar suddenly cross paths with Nafisa. Nafisa then greeted him and asked him to speak for a while.

"What's? So Mas's wife has brain cancer? Duh, what a pity. So what about the kids? Who's taking care of them?"

Amar let out a long sigh, "that's the problem. I was really troubled to take care of them, while there was Aliyah that I had to pay attention to. I could have called my mother, but she would have been angry with me when she found out that Aliyah was not okay. Especially if both parents Aliyah know, they must be sad and worried" complained Amar. Nafisa then approached and rubbed Amar's back attentively.

"If you want, I can help. Just take care of Aliyah, let me take care of the kids. I was also close to Nana. I'm sure, Nana will definitely be happy when she meets me later," said Nafisa full of confidence.

Amar seemed to think, "didn't I trouble you?"

Nafisa shook her head quickly, "no. I'm happy to help you. Hows it? Do you agree with my offer?"

Amar's lips instantly burst wide, "thank you, Fisa. You're very kind," praised Amar for the help Nafisa offered.

After talking for a while, Amar immediately drove his car to the hospital. Upon arrival there, Amar was confused because according to the rules, small children were prohibited from entering the hospital. Not without reason, hospitals are not a friendly place for children. As a result, Amar could only sit in the hospital garden with a grim face.

For a moment he looked at his two children. The child who is usually always cheerful with laughter and all his behavior is now a shy child. Even since Aliyah fell ill, she had never seen the laughter of her children again.

"Gaffi, Amri, want some ice cream?" bargain Amar when he saw the ice cream seller not far from the hospital guardrail.

Gaffi's head shook his head, while Amri nodded.

"Amri want?" Amri nodded shyly.

"Gaffi, really don't want to?" Gaffi nodded in response. "What does Lantas Gaffi want?"

"Abang Affi wants mom" he said with a sad face. There was a great trembling feeling in his chest. Perih. Tight tormenting kalbu. It was inconceivable that Aliyah had actually left them, what would happen? What about the fate of his children?

"Abang Gaffi wait here, yeah. I want to go there for a little ice cream" said Amar. Gaffi nodded softly. While Amar accompanied Amri to buy ice cream.

After buying ice cream, Amar sat down next to Gaffi.

"Did you want a chip?" tawar Amar while thrusting the ice cream cone towards Gaffi. But Gaffi stayed with his stance. He doesn't want ice cream. All she wanted was her mother. Yes, mother. Only mother. There's nothing else.

Amar could only sigh deeply. Why is it so hard to get close to her son. But Amar did not blame his children. He knew it all came from his own actions. He is too ignorant of his children. Also several times his son saw how he scolded Aliyah and the last time he saw how Amar yelled at Amri because he could not stay still.
