The Regrets of the Child and Husband

The Regrets of the Child and Husband
PAS 23

After leaving the doctor's room, Amar went straight to the room where Aliyah received intensive care. He sat in a chair beside the gurney. Various medical devices are connected in the body of the wife. Grasping Aliyah's hand, slowly, Amar's cry broke. His tears were pierced imagining all the pain he had been giving his wife all this time.

"Al, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he said, sobbing.

It had never occurred to him all this time how he had made the woman he had been editing a dozen years ago tormented by birth and inner. Amar realized, he was really a cruel husband. Never once did he think of the feelings of his wife that he always blamed on everything.

His attitude that feels the most right, must be the most respected, rude, ketus, do not want to be denied, who feel the most tired, consider the task of a wife just relax, not tiring like her work. Amar always underestimated Aliyah's duties as a wife and mother. Never once did Amar try to ease the work of the wife even in his spare time. There he could only rule this and that, without thinking that his wife was exhausted.

Even when sick Aliyah still had to do all her work. Amar considers it a wife's duty, including taking care of her children. In fact, the task of taking care of the child is not only the duty of a wife, but her father as well. Husband and wife shoulder to shoulder with each other to take care of the household following children. Not just all of it left to the wife.

But haughtily, Amar said it was indeed Aliyah's duty. He was tired enough to make money, so it was Aliyah's job to take care of all the bad tek in the household without wanting to know all the difficulties that plagued the wife. If there is anything lacking according to his glasses, then Amar will be angry. He accused his wife of not being so. Though he is the head of the family who is not good at taking care of his children. Ah, how cruel Amar has been.

"Al, awake! You may hit me, grab me, slap me, whatever you want to do I will accept, but I beg you. Awake, Honey. I beg you, forgive me. Wake up. Don't torture me like this. And don't leave me, either. I know I was wrong. I'm evil. I'm ruthless. I'm dzalim. I realize I don't deserve to be forgiven, but ... I will continue to apologize. If necessary, every day of my life I'll say it as long as you come back. Don'tgo. Don't leave me. I beg you," said Amar with tears streaming down his right and left cheeks.

Amar continued to apologise. I don't know how long the man was crying beside his wife. Unknowingly, the man was shocked.

There was no movement from the woman lying beside him. Aliyah seemed to be transformed into a sleeping princess. His sleep was too deep to respond to Amar at all.

Adhan dawn reverberate. It was clear from the musholla not far from the room where Aliyah was being treated. Amar wriggling. He slowly opened his eyes and rubbed them. He noticed the face of the woman who had been a dozen years beside him. There's no change. Even though it looks pale, it still looks beautiful.

Amar felt very stupid. How he squandered a wife as perfect as Aliyah for the sake of another woman who could not necessarily be like her. If you think about it, what does the wife not have? He was sure that what other women had also belonged to his wife. On the contrary, what his wife has is not necessarily owned by another woman.

Aliyah is perfect. She is a Sholehah, gentle, and devoted wife. It's actually pretty, too. Perhaps the effects of exhaustion and inadequate finances make her appearance not as beautiful as a woman on the outside who only focuses on herself. Unlike the Aliyah who had a lot of consideration.

A mother, willing to look messy, willing to tie her stomach, willing to get tired and lack of sleep, willing to lose her pleasure just for the sake of making her children happy. Same with Aliyah. He was willing to resist his desire to buy powder and lipstick to look beautiful. He was willing to circle his eyes looking black because he stayed up late when his children cried in the middle of the night. He is willing to hold hunger when his child wants to be carried or wants to eat good. Such is the struggle of a wife as well as a mother, but unfortunately many are not aware of men who hold the title as a husband. They always consider trivial the struggle and sacrifice of the wife.

Amar standing. He kissed his wife's forehead which was not as cold as it was before being taken to the hospital. Then he whispered softly, "Mas pray first yes, dear. It has been a long time since he faced the owner of this body. Actually, Mas was embarrassed because all this time Mas was too ignorant of the obligation of Mas as a servant. But at a time like this, I just remembered Him. But by suppressing the shame, Mas wants to face Him and beg Him to return you to Mas."

After saying that, Amar again kissed Aliyah's forehead. Then he put his foot out. For the first time, after a long time of neglect, Amar wanted to go to the creator and plead for his wife to be given a cure. Begging that he be given the opportunity to atone for all his wrongs and sins.

In the prayer, Amar prayed fervently. Even his tears continued to shine signifying how sincere prayer came out of his heart.

"Is there no sign yet that my wife is going to wake up, Sus?" ask Amar after the nurse finishes her task.

The sister sighed, then shook her head.

"Just keep praying, sir. God willing, sincere prayer will be affirmed by Allah SWT."

Amar lowered his head while smiling smugly. Hope his prayers are properly answered.

Amar is on his way home. After meeting his wife, he placed Aliyah on the guarding nurse. He must remember, there are children who still need it. It is impossible for him to give all the needs of Gaffi and Amri to Nana. Anyway, Nana is still a child. He should not be charged with taking care of his younger siblings.

Upon arrival in the yard of the house, Amar was immediately greeted with the cry of Amri. Amar rushed down from the car and pulled out the spare key of their house. After the door opened, Amar was immediately greeted by a very chaotic appearance of Nana while holding Amri. I don't know how long the girl had been holding Amri, but from the circumference of her eyes, Amar could guess that it had lasted long enough.

Amar reached out to welcome Amri. But the youngest son shook his head. The only things that came out of her lips were mother, mother, and mother. How guilty he has been all this time. The whole task of taking care of his children he left to Aliyah to make her son was not so close to him.

After nearly 30 minutes of struggle, Amri finally fell asleep again.

Some time later, it appears Nana has come out of the room with her bag on the shoulder. Then he sat himself opposite the father who had served the rice he bought not far from the house.

"Well, why did you tell that witch here?" ask Nana suddenly. Nana is indeed the type of girl who is slippery so Amar was no longer strange to hear it.

"Magic grandmother? Who?" amar asked confusedly.

"Not pretend you don't know, Dad. Who else would have tried if not that thousand-faced father's co-worker. I'm sure, yesterday when I kept my phone number busy dad kept it must be the witch who called me first. He must be ngadu who did not go to dad, right?" cerocos Nana makes Amar immediately choke because the child's guess is so precise.
