The Shadow Of Love

The Shadow Of Love
Disconnecting

"Aren't you allowed to follow me?" he asked in a slightly screaming voice. "Sister was going to pick you up, but just look at you bonceng another guy. That's why my sister followed me because I was worried" she continued, those words managed to warm my heart.

"Please, brother," I said sincerely.

Risqi's brother increased the speed of his motorbike so that we quickly got home. I saw him several times glancing at me through his left rearview.

A few minutes later we arrived at my house. As soon as I got there, the expression on my sad face immediately changed flat when I saw someone sitting on his motorcycle seat in my yard.

When he saw me coming with Risqi, he immediately stared sinisterly at us. Risqi's brother turned off the engine of his vehicle when it had stopped beside the motor of someone who would soon become my ex-boyfriend.

"Oh, run away from home because of another guy?" ask her with sarcastic tone.

I got off the bike, and so did Risqi. We stood parallel to the gaze that led to one person, Farid.

"I didn't run away. I'm so pleased with your mother" I replied trying to stay calm.

"That brings you there I am, Shay. Why can't I wait for your anther?" ask again with emotion. He even got off the bike and approached us.

"I knew. But I don't want to disturb your mother's comfort if I'm there too long" I said.

"Reason!" he shouted while staring intently at Risqi.

I who saw Farid being unkind to Brother Risqi certainly did not accept. Risqi was the only person who approached me sincerely and her family accepted me with open arms.

"Never look at Brother Risqi like that, Rid!" I pressed those words.

Farid clapped softly. He also smiled sinisterly while looking annoyed at me. "It turns out that mother's words were right. You don't deserve me to fight, Sya!" rough snaps.

I could still be calm, as if nothing had happened between us. However, it seems like Risqi Brother is actually burning with emotion. This man who has always been there for me is about to come forward with clenched hands.

Understanding what Risqi wanted to do to Farid, I prevented him by holding his right hand, then I grasped it tightly. She looked at me with a flat expression, I knew she was asking me to let go of her hand. However, I just tightened my hand. I also shook my little.

I faintly heard Brother Risqi breathing heavily. I know this man in my grasp is very, very angry.

I turned to look at Farid with a bitter smile. It's hard for me to end a relationship that's been going on for more than a year. However, in a relationship also requires the blessing of parents, right? Then, can I have a relationship without the blessing of Farid's parents?

"Great, yes, yes. You dare to make out with others in front of me," Farid said with a gaze directed at my hand and Risqi's sister who were clinging to each other.

"By looking at this you should be aware, Rid." I deliberately wrapped my other hand in the arm of Brother Risqi. "Why do you keep a woman like me?" my question was deliberately wanting Farid to end our relationship.

"Oh, so you want to make it clear that he's your affair, right?"

"It's up to you to tell me what, Rid. My feelings for you no longer exist either. All gone are carried away by the night wind."

"Well, it's good if you prefer him, yes. Hope you have no regrets!" he took a direct ride on his bike and left my house.

As soon as Farid had left my house, I immediately released my hand to Farid's. I also lowered my head a little.

"You sad, Dek?" ask Risqi.

"No, brother. Our relationship has been cold for a long time. After all, his family did not accept my presence either," I replied honestly.

"Patience, yes, Deck" said Brother Risqi as he patted me gently on the shoulder.

"So, don't go home yet, yeah, I still want to be alone."

"No need to worry. I'm fine, you know!"

"Yes, that's it. But if there's anything, tell her, yes" she said gently.

Risqi's sister complied with my request. He left though with a heart that looked lame.

After the departure of Risqi, I went into the house and immediately locked myself in the room. There I was crying so much. Though only tears came out, without the slightest sound.

For almost ten minutes I cried. I sat on the cold floor with my head between my knees, my hands hugging my legs. Although my race is no longer there for Farid, but our memories are not easily forgotten. Besides, I'm still hurting over Farid's mother's words every time I see him.

My activities were forced to stop when there was a knock on the door, followed by the sound of Mother calling my name. I rush to wipe the trail of tears in my face so that I don't see my crying.

After making sure there were no more tears on my cheeks, I opened the door. I saw Mom standing at the door of the room with a plate filled with food.

"Why, Mom?" ask me with a hoarse voice.

"Your voice is different, yes. You sick?" ask my mother back.

"No, Ma. Tasya overslept, "I had to lie.

"Oh. You're not working today?"

"Work, Mom. Just leaving again."

"Yes already. Eat first, keep changing clothes and go." Mom handed me a plate full of food.

"Thank you, ma'am," I said sincerely, then accepted Mom's gift.

I came out of the room, then ate the food prepared by Mom in the living room. Actually, I have no taste for food at all, but I cannot refuse Mom's orders.

Not long after, Mom came back to me. This time the old woman who had given birth to me had a glass of tea placed in front of me.

My little heart was actually astonished. I don't usually treat you like this. Usually, if you've been very considerate, it means that you want something. But, I can't possibly be so bad thinking to my own mother.

"Yes" called Mom hesitantly.

I looked towards Mom sitting on my left side. From her current expression, my mind became even more convinced that I really needed something.

"Why, Mom?" soft ask.

"Do you have money?"

Right, huh? What else does your mother want other than money. My guess is rarely missed.

"There is, but it would take Tasya a tube to charge Tasya to go to college later, Mom," I replied honestly.

"Mom borrow first, yes, yes. Not much, really, just one hundred and fifty thousand aja," he said trying to seduce me with a clear face.

"What do you really need to do?" askaku who needs to ensure the needs of Mother this time for what.

"Your father's crown is broken, Shay. Need to go to the workshop," said Mother who again thought more about Father. In fact, you rarely give a living to us.

"Tasya does not want if it is for the needs of the Father, Mom. Ask Aja Bapak to ask Mas Dandi," said I who dare to deny Mother's request.
