The Shadow Of Love

The Shadow Of Love
Just Dreams

Until I went home I was still thinking about what Mom said. Yes, if only I had given certainty and accepted Kak Risqi's proposal, maybe I could have been a solace to the old woman.

The late night made me decide to rest my tired body. Anyway, I don't want to pick up Mom tomorrow to visit Risqi's grave.

I started to close my eyes. Enjoying the song I set from my mobile phone. Eventually, I slipped into the subconscious.

"Well, where am I?" I asked when suddenly I was in a place so foreign to me.

My eyes went around to remember if I had ever come to this place. However, the result is nil. I really don't remember that I ever came to this place.

Such a beautiful place, with a variety of flowers that bloom perfectly. In the middle of the place there is an artificial fountain at the bottom of which is a place of ornamental fish life.

When my eyes were fixed on the fish that were swimming here and there coolly, suddenly my shoulder was patted by someone from behind. Hurriedly I turned back, how shocked I was as Kak Risqi stood there with her charming smile.

He was so handsome in all-white clothes, his hair that used to be always short was now a little shabby. Nothing changed from his face. It's still the same as before.

"Sister," I mumbled.

"You're home, Dek?" ask Risqi.

My lips are heavy to answer. However, with all my might I forced my feet to step forward. When it was close, I immediately hugged the sturdy body so tightly.

"Dad!" Risqi's sister forced me to break our embrace.

After the hug came off, I looked at her face fixedly. Happy, that's how I feel right now. To see him standing in front of me again was such a relief.

"Sister, don't go again, yeah." I clasped both of his hands tightly.

Brother Risqi smiled. So sweet, that I was completely blown away by this perfect sculpture of a man standing in front of me.

"Son't ever go, Deck." He led my hand to touch my chest. "Sister is always here" he continued.

"I miss, Brother."

"Surely, Brother. Brother too, yes," I replied with a happy smile.

Again Risqi just smiled. He didn't return my words just now.

"Sir, can you take mom?"

"Can. Mother also loves me," said I who responded to a nod by him.

"Thank you, yeah, Deck."

"Together, Brother." I stretched out my hands to embrace her. However, suddenly Brother Risqi disappeared from before me.

"Sister!" called him.

I turned my body around all over the place to look for the whereabouts of Risqi, but I found neither her nor her trace.

"Sister!"

I looked around, and I was still in my room alone. I saw a wall clock hanging up there. It turned out to be four in the morning.

"Oh my God, it was just a dream" I said weakly. I rubbed my face that felt soaked with sweat.

Suddenly the door of the room opened. Mother appeared with her worried face. "Why are you, Shay?" ask Mother.

Mom came in, and walked up to me. The old woman sat beside me, her wrinkled hands stroking my forehead.

"That's all right, ma'am."

"But I heard you calling Risqi, you know!"

"Well! Masa, anyway?"
