The Shadow Of Love

The Shadow Of Love
Reason

Hearing her words earlier, I immediately stopped my steps. I stared hard at the man until his head was down. Maybe he was afraid of my cold eyes.

"I'm not a person who looks at others based solely on the physical!" I cried with a pressing tone.

The man began to raise his gaze, then looked at me with another look. I don't know why he's looking at me like that.

Not wanting to waste time with strangers, I continued to move back home. However, I rotated both balls of my eyes when I saw him back following behind.

I let him follow me home. Without caring about him, I rushed in, as I also had to rush off to work.

Once I was home, I cleaned up and put on my work clothes. Before leaving, as usual I will eat at home.

Finished with my routine, I also took the phone that I had placed on a small table in this simple room. Time is getting closer to my work hours.

I picked up my sister's used butut bike when I was in high school. I don't know how old this bike is. I am lazy to count them. Rushed the bike to work. Arriving there, the restaurant was already quite crowded by buyers.

"Hurry, Shay!" shouted my coworker who was confused.

"Yes, one minute!" I shouted, putting my bicycle in the parking lot.

After taking care of my butut bike, I ran into work. Before helping my friend work, I took the time to wash my hands first and wear an apron.

I soon joined up with friends to serve customers. Until the evening we just finished after all the menus have been sold out.

Too tired with this heart work, I also sat myself first in the chair. Nadia did the same. He looked at me for a long time, I was aware of what Nadia was doing was a little uncomfortable.

"Why do you worry about me being rich, anyway?" my question is looking at him.

"I feel sorry for you, yes." Nadia looked at me without a blink. "You're still in High School. Why do you have to work gini, anyway?" ask again.

"How else, Nad? If I'm not rich, I can snack. What else should I also think of my father's cigarette," I replied as I turned my face away, so that Nadia would not see my sadness.

"Your father is still diligent in burning money turns out. Then your mother can burden you with your father's cigarette business?"

I also nodded. That's the truth. My father loved cigarettes more than his family. If the mother does not prepare her needs that one, the father must sulk and do not want to eat. My mom always cried because of that.

"I'm getting along with your family, Shay. Your father is not working, but even ngerepotin his son is rich that."

I saw Nadia clenching her hands. This friend of mine really understands my heart. He was three years older than me, making his mind more mature.

"Already, Nad. I don't mind any of this, you know!"

I had to pretend like that. There's no way I'm telling someone else about my family, is there?

"Don't lie, Shay! I know how your heart is now." He suddenly pulled me into his arms.

"Thank you, Nad. You always understand," I said sincerely.

The ringing sound of my cell phone coming from my pants pocket broke our embrace. In a hurry to retrieve my brother's mobile phone, both of my eyebrows are linked when I see an unknown number sending a message. Curious, I immediately opened the short message.

"Hi, haven't come home from work yet, Dad!" Tasha read the message in her heart.

"Who, Yes?" nadia asked who saw my facial expression change.

"Oh. Yeah, we wash dirty dishes first, yuk! Abis is home." Nadia asked me because the night was getting late.

"Come, Brother!"

We started washing all the dirty furniture. Not wanting more nights at work, we did it quickly. After doing that activity. We also immediately prepare to go home.

The restaurant where we work is closed. Nadia and I were taking our vehicles. Nadia picked up her motor matic, while I was on a butut bike that always faithfully accompanied.

"I go first, yes, yes!" nadia exclaimed after starting the motor.

"Yes, Nad. Be careful on the road!" I shouted as Nadia started riding her bike.

I started riding my butut bike. The only means of transportation I have had all this time. Steady with full struggle. The tiredness and drowsiness started attacking, making me really want to give up. However, I have no other choice but to live out my destiny even with a heavy heart.

"Oh my God, if I had someone who was always there for me, maybe my life wouldn't be this heavy." I sat in hope.

Suddenly from behind there was someone holding the iron bonnet of my bicycle. It gave me a little push until I didn't have to pedal that bike anymore. I looked to the right side, and it was the man who was following me again.

"Cappies, yeah?" he continued to push my bike with his left hand, while his right hand set his motor gas.

"Sokay know!" seruku.

"From afar too, really! You're tired. That's why the road is slow, snail-rich!" funny guy, I swear I was really upset with him.

"Don't be mad, I'm just kidding, you know!"

"Please offin, dong! We're not that close until you give me some help" I told him.

"Please that person, you don't have to be close first, you know! Helping that person was an obligation," he said, a faint smile rising at the corner of his lips.

"Yes, hell! But I don't need your help, "my reply still refuses to accept his kindness.

"Yes already. If so, be careful on the road, Dad!" he shouted, then released his hand from the bonnet of my bicycle. "If there's anything, just yell three times. I'll come!"

I just rotated both my eyeballs. For some reason, I was very reluctant to respond to the stranger.

He also pushed his bike away from me. Feeling that the man was insignificant, I just flicked my shoulders.

"He thinks I need his help? Hm, sorry. I'd rather be tired than accept a stranger's help" I said, looking at the man who was getting further away.

After an uphill battle, I arrived at the house that was already closed. Knock the door slowly. Not long after, the door opened.

He looked hard at me with his blue eyes. "Zinc, yeah! Play from day to night. I don't remember coming home!" nagging father with a cold expression.

"Tasya doesn't play, sir. My job, really!"

"Who told you to work? Don't make it up. You know you're just grounded!"

This time, it felt like I was going to hit that filterless lip. However, I don't want to be an ungodly child. So, I can only afford to be silent at the door of the house.
