Amber's Promise

"Why are you silent Cat? Just tell me if you have a problem, I know I'm not from among the people, but maybe I can help with my strength,"

Caitlyn was just staring at Amber with a pushy look. Amber looked at him with a sad look and clasped Caitlyn's hand.

"Cat, is there anything that bothers you? Just tell me, maybe I can help you."

Caitlyn was still silent, until a moment later a tear began to fall on the back of her hand.

'Oh, my God, he's fighting. He looked so sad, did this have anything to do with me?' amber murmured while swallowing her saliva violently.

"Ca... The paint!" call Amber in a slightly choked voice. Caitlyn then raised her face and tried to smile while wiping away her tears.

"Cat, are you having a problem? What's the problem you're dealing with, Cat?"

Caitlyn then smiled wryly. "Yes Amber, a problem I made myself because of my carelessness. I used to say that my husband was careless, but sometimes I didn't realize that I wasn't less careless than him either."

"I really don't understand Cat, does this problem you're dealing with have anything to do with your household?" amber asked who answered a nod of the head by Caitlyn.

'Geez, can't this have anything to do with me?' amber murmurs. The guilt now haunts him even more.

"A... What's... What exactly happened to your household Cat? Is there a third person in your household?" amber asked bravery while holding back the feeling of fear in her heart.

"No Amber, it's not about the third person."

'Hufttt thankfully, so he never suspected Jeff of ever having contact with another woman?' amber murmurs.

"Not about the third person, Cat? Then what's it about?" sahut Amber's.

"What do you mean, Cat? I really don't understand."

"Amber, we've been married for five years, and we haven't had any children yet. Jeff had been so patiently waiting for me for so many years and delayed his desire to have a child. And this year, we're supposed to be doing a pregnancy program. But unfortunately, I haven't been able to comply with Jeff's wishes, Amber. At that time, without me realizing I had made a big mistake by signing a contract without reading the contents of the contract first."

"What is Cat's contract?"

"I've been under contract with this beauty company for five years. That means I can't do the pregnancy program Jeff wants. I'm so stupid, Amber, I'm so stupid! Amber held Caitlyn's hand back. "The situation is really complicated, Cat. I actually want to help you, too, but it's pretty hard because it has to do with both of you households, and I don't want to interfere in your household affairs."

Caitlyn then looked at Amber with a look of pity. "You can help me, but that's also if you want to do that. And I won't force you to obey my request for you."

"Can I really help you?"
