"How's Cat?" jeff asked as he looked at Caitlyn who hung up on him while frowning.

"Edrick didn't take the call from me, Jeff. He even turned off his phone."

"Edrick seems to want to avoid you and keep his word, Cat."

"Possibly so, Jeff. Then what should we do? What if we take them to Brooklyn? Maybe that's the only way we can get Amber and Daddy together."

Jeff seemed silent for a moment. Actually for now, guilt still so enveloped his heart. The guilt of having toyed with the heart of an innocent woman whom he had snatched away his chastity and was currently containing the blood of his flesh.

"Jeff, why are you quiet? Can't you afford to see their marriage?"

"Cat, how many more times do I have to tell you that I never loved Amber at all. Right now I just feel sad and embarrassed if I have to meet Amber because my attitude has hurt her so much."

Caitlyn smiled bitterly at Jeff's words. "That's the price you have to pay Jeff."

"I know that."

"Then how should we?"

"We're going to Brooklyn, now. Manhattan and Brooklyn are not too far away. We still have plenty of time to talk to them before the wedding takes place."

"Then what about your heart? Didn't you just say you were embarrassed to meet Amber?"

"Mommy," said Caitlyn.

"Me and Jeff, we're going to Brooklyn. We want to see Amber and Mommy Jenny. I hope they'll see Daddy after hearing my explanation."

Diane nodded her head. "Yes Cat. Hope Jenny wants to hear from you and see Edison. I also want to meet your Mommy and apologize to her. I hope you convince them."

"Yes Mommy. We go first."

Diane nodded her head and stared at Caitlyn's departure with a heart so bitter. "Jennys. I'm sorry, if only time could be turned back. I certainly wouldn't do the stupidity I've done. Fortunately, Amber didn't do the stupidity I did just now. He can still control himself not to snatch Jeff from Caitlyn, but if he wants, he can do that because he is currently containing Jeff's flesh and blood. While Caitlyn who is now in the car with Jeff seems to occasionally glance at Jeff who is driving his car. 'I don't know how I really feel about you, Jeff. Slowly Caitlyn leaned her head and closed her eyes, and without realizing it she slowly fell asleep. Since last night, he had indeed not rested at all, his mind and heart felt so chaotic. Right now, his body felt so tired, not only his body but also his heart and mind.

An hour later, Jeff's car stopped near Amber's house. He had deliberately not stopped right in front of the house so that they did not know their arrival.

He then looked at his watch which showed at three in the morning. "I'd better let him sleep first. Soon I just woke up if the lights in Amber's house were on, I also did not want to disturb their rest time. Jeff then stroked Caitlyn's face and kissed her forehead. "I'm sorry. But I always loved you" Jeff said.

Caitlyn who now seemed to move her eyelids, slowly opened her eyes. That's when he saw Jeff staring at him.

"Jeff," said Caitlyn softly with a little misbehavior because it got a look so deep from Jeff.

Caitlyn then nodded her head. "What time is it?"

"Five o'clock in the morning."

"Five in the morning? Shouldn't we be here at three in the morning? Why don't you wake me up, Jeff?"

"You need a break, Cat. Besides, they're probably still sleeping. I don't want to disturb their rest."

"You're right."

Caitlyn then looks at the house shown by Jeff as Amber's house. "Look at Jeff, the lights in the house are on!"

"You're right, Cat. Let's go over there!"

Caitlyn nodded her head. They got out of the car and headed to the house.

TOK TOK TOK

Caitlyn knocked on the door. A few moments later, the door opened. When the door opened, Caitlyn froze for a moment.

"Mommy," said Caitlyn softly as she looked at a middle-aged woman who was now standing in front of her who was currently staring at her so fixatedly.

"Mommy!" caitlyn shouted back and then hugged the woman's body. The middle-aged woman who was so surprised to see Caitlyn's arrival just fell silent. His feelings are now so mixed when he sees a child who has long been missed by him.

"Cat? Are you really my daughter's cat?" the woman asked, hugging Caitlyn back. Caitlyn nodded her head as she tightened her embrace on the middle-aged woman's body.

Tears now appear to have washed the faces of both. "Caitlyn my daughter, I finally got to meet you, Cat!" jenny said as she continued to kiss and caress Caitlyn's hair.

"You're a big boy, I'm sorry. I'm sorry Mommy left you Cat. Please forgive Mommy!" isak Jenny is back.

"It's okay, Mommy. Its alright. I'm sorry I just found out this truth now. I'm sorry Mommy," said Caitlyn, sobbing.

As Caitlyn and Jenny were still hugging each other, suddenly a voice startled the two of them.

"Cats. You're here?" greet a voice from inside the house.
