The Twin Bed (Wrong Bed)
Contract Letter

A black car appears to be speeding slowly amid heavy New York traffic. In the car, there was a driver sitting in front and two women sitting in the back were busy with their thoughts, until one of them opened his voice.

"What are you really thinking, Cat? Why do you look so moody?"

"Alice, for some reason, since Jeff went to Brooklyn, I've been so anxious, I don't know if it's just my feeling or if it's a bad feeling for me," caitlyn said as she bit her nails.

"Cat, you worry about Jeff too much. Don't you know that Jeff loves you so much?" alice asked who only answered a nod of the head by Caitlyn. Finally, their car arrived at a studio where they were going to shoot.

They then got out of the car and entered the studio and prepared everything for the shoot that Caitlyn would do. When Caitlyn had finished herself and was wearing the dress she was about to wear during the photo shoot, suddenly a man approached them.

Edrick Ryder, 28, is a marketing manager at Estee Lauder Companies, New York's largest beauty brand, where Caitlyn co-published the company's beauty products.

"Good night, Cat," Edrick said to Caitlyn.

"Good night, Edrick. Excuse me, looks like the shoot is about to start. I go there first" replied Caitlyn as she walked away from Edrick.

"That's arrogant!" edrick grumbled as he looked at Caitlyn who was walking away from him. Edrick sat on the couch watching Caitlyn shoot. For two hours, the shoot was over. When Caitlyn was about to change clothes, suddenly Edrick's hand was already blocking his hand and now appears to be standing behind him. Caitlyn then turned her body and looked at Edrick with a sharp look.

"What the fuck are you Ed! It's not appropriate for you to treat me like this because I already have a husband! Your behavior is totally inappropriate!" he snapped Caitlyn while throwing Edrick's hand.

Edrick smiled wryly. "Cat, have you forgotten who I am? Since I am the one you can get this big project, you should thank me instead of treating me like this!"

"Well, thanks Ed, if you're offended by my words please you replace me with another!" caitlyn replied as she hurriedly left Edrick.

"Wait Caitlyn!" edric said as he walked closer towards Caitlyn.

"Caitlyn, didn't you read the contract you signed? Didn't you read the contract well? Didn't mention that you've been under contract with this company for five years, and if you resign, make a mistake, or do one other accomplishment, then you'll pay five million dollars, five million Cat dollars, and that's not a small amount, so please think carefully about all that and please take care of your attitude to me!" edrick said near Caitlyn's ear then left Caitlyn who now looked so panicked.

Caitlyn then approached Alice and looked at her with a sharp gaze. "Alice, what the hell is this?"

"What do you mean, Cat? Why are you suddenly mad at me?"

"Alice, why did when I came to this contract you didn't tell me that we had a five-year contract with the Edrick Company? Don't you think about my home life? Didn't I tell you that soon Jeff and I will try to run a pregnancy program for me? If I go through with this contract for five years then that means I can't do the pregnancy program because I have to keep my appearance for five years? Then what am I supposed to tell Jeff? Then Edrick, you know for yourself, right, if his behavior always makes me feel upset, and I have to work with him for five years? It really is like a disaster!" cat's nagging with a look of a face that is so upset.

Alice could only swallow her saliva violently while looking at Cat with a glaring gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that Alice? You expect me to feel sorry for me?"

"Ca.. Cat, have you forgotten? When you were about to sign the contract, I didn't tell you to read the contract, but you ignored my words and just signed the contract when you saw the nominal on the contract."

Hearing Alice's words, Caitlyn also felt very sorry for her careless attitude a few days ago when she signed the contract. He could only snort in annoyance while exhaling his long breath. "I didn't read the contract but you should have read it before I signed the contract, Alice" Caitlyn said in self-defense.

"Alright then, forgive me Cat, I'm guilty of you, but please don't fire me" Alice said with a slight sigh.

"I'm not going to fire you, Alice! Who said I'd fire you? I'm just confused because now that I'm in big trouble, I don't want Jeff to be mad at me because suddenly I canceled our plans to do a pregnancy program, I don't want Jeff to be mad at me, and that's not all Alice is because for the last five years it's definitely going to be tough days for me to have to work with guys like Edrick!" nagging Cat while walking back and forth in front of Alice who could only stare at her with a pitiful look.

"I'm sorry, Cat. You take it easy, I'll definitely help you deal with your problems."

"Help me? What do you think you can do, Alice? Can you persuade Jeff to abandon his intention to do the pregnancy program? You know I love Jeff so much? I don't want Jeff to be mad at me for my carelessness, '" said Caitlyn.

"So, have you admitted that this carelessness happened because of you, Cat?" ask Alice while chuckling.

"Alice! This is no time to joke!" caitlyn.

While in one corner of the room, Edrick looked at Caitlyn's movements while smiling. "Why do you look so confused, Cat? Shouldn't you be happy working with me? We will definitely spend a lot of time together without being disturbed by your husband. And, I think five years is enough time to take you away from your arrogant husband? Look, you're definitely gonna fall into my arms, Cat."
