Caitlyn then let go of her embrace when she heard a voice calling out to her. He then turned his gaze to the figure of the man who was now standing behind Jenny.

"Edrick" said Caitlyn.

"Cat, so you know Edrick? A husband to Amber?" ask Jenny. Caitlyn nodded her head.

"Yes Mommy, I know him because we work together a lot on the job. Mommy, it's not just that. I even know Amber well" replied Caitlyn, to Jenny's surprise at her confession.

Not only Jenny, but also Edrick is currently stunned when he heard Caitlyn calling her future father-in-law Mommy.

'Mommy? Why did Caitlyn call Aunty Jenny Mommy? May my guess be correct if Amber and Caitlyn are twin brothers?' edrick muttered while staring at Caitlyn's movements.

"justified? You know Amber?" ask Jenny back.

"Yes Mommy, I'll tell you later. Actually, our relationship is a little complicated."

"Mommy, let me tell you later. Right now I want to talk to Mommy and Amber. Where is it, Amber Mom?" ask Caitlyn.

"Amber just finished her shower. Let me call you" replied Edrick. He then walked to Amber's room.

"Cat, let's go in. Sit inside!"

Caitlyn nodded her head. While Jenny, now looks to observe Jeff who is still standing near the stairs in front of their door.

"You? Who're you?" asked Jenny while frowning.

Jeff then approached Jenny. "Include me, I'm Jeff. Husband of your daughter, Caitlyn."

"Jeff?" jenny said with a smile on her lips.

"Yes, my name is Jefferson Hugo. We've been married for five years" Jeff said, extending his hand.

"Oh Jeff, my God. You're so handsome. Come on in and sit down with Caitlyn inside!"

"Oh no, I'll just wait here. I want to enjoy the morning atmosphere in Brooklyn. For me, Brooklyn has its own story in my life."

"Oh, fine if that's what you want. I went inside first to accompany Caitlyn."

'"Yes Mommy," replied Jeff.

Jenny then went inside the house and sat down next to Caitlyn. While Amber who had just come out of her room, looked so surprised when she saw the arrival of Caitlyn.

"Cats!" call Amber as she walks closer to Caitlyn. Edrick was walking behind him.

"Amber, do you know Caitlyn? So do you really know each other?" jenny asked Caitlyn and Amber. They both looked shaken.

"Amber, sit! There's actually something Caitlyn wants to talk to the two of us about!" jenny's orders. Amber sat next to Caitlyn while Edrick stood next to her.

Anxiety actually filled Amber's heart, more precisely you could say she was afraid if the arrival of Caitlyn had anything to do with Jeff.

"What's Cat?" ask Amber.

Hearing Caitlyn's words, Edrick and Amber looked at each other. The anxiety of this moment filled their hearts.

"Cat, what's the matter? I'm sorry, I've chosen to marry Edrick, hopefully you can understand."

"Amber, I know. I also have no intention of interrupting your marriage. It's just, I want to deliver a message from someone who misses you so much, Amber. More precisely miss you and Mommy."

"Mommy, Mommy, is it really what Cat said?" asked Amber while frowning. But Jenny was just crying.

Edrick then stroked Amber's back while holding her hand. "Amber, calm yourself. Calm yourself."

"Mommy! Why did Mommy do all this to me? Why has Mommy been covering up all this truth from me? What really happened, Mommy? Why is Mommy so mean to me by letting me lose a father's affection just for Mommy's selfishness?"

"No Amber, not like that. It's a long story and it's not what you think, Amber."

"Mommy, why are you so cruel? Why did Mommy leave Daddy and choose to live with a man like Robert who I thought was my real father? Why did Mommy let me be tormented by living with a savage man who I thought was my real father all along? Why Mommy?" ask Amber so lucky.

Jenny could only cry when she heard Amber's words. His tongue felt so faint and his lips felt so stiff, even to say a word to answer a question from Amber. It felt like she was answering that question, but the pain about the incident that night when she saw her husband and sister who were having sex felt so disgusting and tormenting inwardly.

"Amber, calm yourself. Calm yourself, Amber! I'll explain everything to you. It's not what you think! Mommy must have had a reason to act like that!" Caitlyn.
