"Jeff!" shouted Edrick who was immediately surprised to get a blow from Jeff.

"That's the price you deserve for touching my wife, Edrick!" jeff snapped with trembling lips holding back the anger inside his chest.

Caitlyn and Diane just arrived in the living room and approached Jeff. Seeing her mother approaching, Caitlyn gives Diane a code to go inside. Diane stepped her foot into the house. But unbeknownst to Caitlyn, she now stands behind a wall and listens to their conversation.

"Jeff, what are you doing? Are you crazy!" caitlyn.

"I'm not crazy, Cat. I'm just giving a lesson to the man who dared to touch my wife!"

"Jeff! Conscious Jeff! Didn't I tell you what happened between the two of us was an accident!"

"Yes, I know that but I'm also sure that hypocritical man must have taken a chance while you were drunk, Cat. I'm sure, he must have intentionally done all that to you! Didn't you know she liked you a long time ago?"

"Jeff, you're wrong. Edrick never took a chance, because that night I asked Edrick to accompany me. I asked her to sit down with me because Alice couldn't keep me company! So please throw away all your bad thoughts to someone else!"

"But he must have deliberately brought you into that hotel room, right, Cat?"

"Yes, he did accompany me into that hotel room. But only to the extent of a small error we did, at least Edrick could still control himself! Unlike you who only act to fulfill your ego! If you want to say bad to someone else, you better look at yourself! Are you good enough or holy enough to judge others badly!"

Hearing Caitlyn's words, Jeff fell silent. Caitlyn then turned her gaze to Edrick who was currently wiping the blood coming out from the corner of his lips.

"I'm sorry, Ed. Sorry for the bad welcome that happened to you. What's up to you coming here? Is there something you want to talk about?" ask Caitlyn. He sat down near Edrick. Jeff did not stay still, he then sat beside Caitlyn while hugging Caitlyn's waist so tight.

Caitlyn who felt uncomfortable getting a touch from Jeff also glared her eyes at Jeff while trying to release his embrace. But Jeff just hugged him. Caitlyn finally relented in shame to Edrick who was now staring at the behavior of the two of them.

"You're done?" ask Edrick, chuckling.

"Yes, sorry."

"Caitlin, Jeff. Before I say the purpose of my arrival to this house, I wanted to apologize to both of you. I'm really sorry if your household is falling apart because of me, because of my selfishness, and because of my ambition. Again, please forgive me. That's why, I purposely came to this house to atone for my guilt for you, even though I knew it was too late."

"What do you mean, Edrick?"

"It's Cat" said Edrick, handing Caitlyn a file. Caitlyn then took the file and opened it sheet by sheet. When reading the file carefully, the look on his face changed immediately.

"Geez, is this really all Edrick?" caitlyn asked while half-screaming. Jeff who was astonished by Caitlyn's behavior then looked at Caitlyn with a question mark. However, Caitlyn simply ignored Jeff's gaze. He looked back at Edrick.

"Yes Cat. That's right, I broke our employment contract. I want you to focus on taking care of your household first. I want your relationship to be maintained. I know it may not be easy, but what's wrong if you try to give each one a chance, just think of this as a test in your household journey. I know I don't really deserve to advise you like this because I'm not a good person either, I'm also full of sin. Even I'm the one who actually has to take responsibility because your household is like this, it's because of me. Again please forgive me."

"Ck, so you're aware of your rot, Edrick!"

"Yes, I've realized it's all Jeff. And you don't have to worry about me anymore either, I won't go near Caitlyn anymore. I've closed all my past and buried my love for Caitlyn."

"Yes, I'm getting married tomorrow. Just a simple wedding in Brooklyn."

"Brooklyn?" jeff and Caitlyn shouted at the same time.

"Yes, we're getting married in Brooklyn. My future father-in-law is from Brooklyn, and he doesn't want to come to Manhattan. Emh, my future father-in-law won't come to Manhattan because he swore he wouldn't come to this city anymore, because for him this city is a city full of wounds. So we're going to have a wedding in Brooklyn tomorrow."

"Oh hope your wedding goes well, Ed."

"Thank you, Cat. Now I want to go home, because soon my wife and I are going to Brooklyn."

"Yes Ed, be careful. Give our regards to your future wife. I'm sorry if we can't come to your wedding because we're setting our hearts."

"It's okay, Cat. You guys just calm down. Jeff, Caitlin. Excuse me for saying goodbye."

"Yes Edrick, may your marriage run smoothly, we can only wish you both the best."

"Thank you, I'll go home first."

Edrick leaves the house, and Caitlyn walks back into the room, followed by Jeff, who is still trying to persuade her.

While Diane now looked out from behind the wall and walked up to Edison with a raging feeling.

'A woman who promised never to come back to Manhattan? Is that you Jenny? Aren't those the words you said when we last met?' Diane gumam.
