"What do you mean, Edrick? I really don't understand? Who's kissing?"
"You, weren't you kissing Jeff at the hospital? Yes, I didn't see your face clearly when you and Jeff kissed but without looking closely at you, I'm sure it was you, Cat."
Hearing Edrick's words, Caitlyn's heart felt so broken. His entire body seemed to tremble, now he could only remain silent while holding back the feeling that was now so raging in his heart.
'Oh no, what does all this mean? Edrick must have seen it wrong. It must not have been Amber or Jeff she saw, but someone else, ' Caitlyn murmured with mixed feelings.
"What's up, Cat?"
"No, it's okay" replied Caitlyn. His life seemed to be gone, his body was shaking, now it felt so weak, his heartbeat felt even tighter which made his head feel so heavy. Caitlyn then stepped her foot away from Edrick while holding back such an erratic feeling.
'Jeff kissing? Who was Jeff kissing with? What about Amber? Ah no, it feels impossible, didn't they just get to know each other? Edrick could not even see clearly who the woman was. Oh no, what really happened? Why is my home so complicated? Is there no more openness in this household? Does Jeff have secrets? Same like me? I have to investigate all this but how could I possibly do all that? Right now I am also not a holy woman who has never been touched by another man, ' muttered Caitlyn who now covered her mouth while sobbing. His head felt so heavy holding back the various thoughts that were so raging in his mind.
Caitlyn then turned her footsteps that initially she wanted to get out of the cafe, now she finally walked towards the stool bar in the inside of the cafe.
"Give me Chivas Regal!" caitlyn orders a waitress who's at the stool bar.
The waiter poured Chivas Regal into a glass in Caitlyn's hand. One glass, two glasses, three glasses, until finally can not be counted again how many sips of glass drunk by Caitlyn.
"Jeff!!! I love you so much! I love you so much! But why would you dare to do that to me, Jeff! What's my fault with you? What is my lack? Is it because I can't give you a child, and then you're looking for another woman? Can't you just be patient for a second, Jeff? Why Jeff? Why?" said Caitlyn sobbing.
Edrick, who was also walking out of the cafe, accidentally looked towards the inside of the cafe and saw Caitlyn who now looked so chaotic was sitting in the bar stool.
"Cat? So Caitlyn hasn't come home yet? What really happened to Caitlyn?" said Edrick. Slowly, he stepped onto the stool bar.
"Cats!" call Edrick and pat Caitlyn on the shoulder. Caitlyn then raised her face. "Out!" said Caitlyn while chuckling.
"Cat, what really happened to you? Why are you like this Cat?" asked Edrick with trembling lips.
"Hahahaha, why Ed? What's wrong with me? Is there something wrong with me? If something's wrong, then you want to fix everything that's happened? It's too late Ed! It's too late! Do you know, my current husband already has another woman and that's because you're Edrick! Jeff left me because I couldn't make his wish come true because of you, it was because of you! You know, the woman you saw kissing Jeff wasn't me but another woman! And all the misfortunes that have happened in my life have all happened because of you! Because you're Edrick!!!" yelled Caitlyn while sobbing. He then dropped his body on the floor while sobbing.
Edrick felt so tight to see Caitlyn who was now sobbing in front of him, his heart was also sliced to see Caitlyn who now looks so broken.
"O Lord, is this the fruit of my selfishness? I hurt the woman I love most in this world just because of my ambition? God, help me. Give me your way and your lead so I can help him. If I can't do anything to help him either, at least give me a way so that I can give him happiness" Edrick said as he looked at Caitlyn who was still sobbing.
He slowly crouched down in front of Caitlyn. "Cat, I'm sorry, I'm sorry Cat."
