“Bu .... Rara is scared, Mom..”

One sentence that slid from the lips of Pearl, managed to make Anna panic. How not, the little girl spoke while crying as she pleased.

What happened to the pearls? Why is that little girl so scared?

“What can Miss Anna get here? Rara's scared, Mom. Rara was afraid,” said the little girl while crying as she pleased.

Anna repeatedly asked what was causing the little girl to be so frightened. But Pearl did not answer. The stepson just kept asking for Anna to come.

“Iya darling. Mom and Papa Wirra get there. You are calm, baby,” said Anna.

The woman immediately shook the body of the husband so that the man immediately woke up from his sleep.

“Why An? It's still noon. We leave in the afternoon to arrive at the villa for dinner,”, said Wirra, who was still reluctant to open her eyes. Tired and drowsy from having fun with Anna last night, making Wirra still want to rest a few more hours.

“Rara called, Mas. She was crying and scared,” Anna said.

Wirra instantly slid. The man then straightened his body.

“Why?!”

Anna shook her head, “don't know, Mas. Rara did not say why she was scared. He just said he was scared,” said Anna.

Wirra's forehead was wrinkled to hear it. Why didn't his stepson tell him the reason for his fear? Was the little girl asked by Meyta to lie so that she could get there soon?

“Mas ... Let's get ready!” cry Anna.

“Indeed all the equipment for us to stay at the villa, have you prepared all?”

“Snap?!” asked Anna astonished. Wirra nodded casually.

“Kok you can-can still think about the holidays while your child is scared? You don't think about Rara's condition?”

Wirra let out a long breath.

“That's at best Meyta's wits for me to go home quickly. Rara didn't say the reason she felt scared right? Rara could be afraid of being scolded by her mother if I don't go home soon.”

Anna's eyes glared. The woman was so angry at Wirra. He left the man and prepared himself. Wirra regained her senses when Anna went into the bathroom to clean her body.

“You really want to go there, now?” ask Wirra. Anna did not respond to the man's words. For the first time Anna had neglected Wirra.

She was so angry with her husband.

“An, are you angry?”

Anna ignored her husband. All she thought about was the pearls. He wanted to meet and hug the little girl.

“That must have been Mey, An. You know Mey's nature, right?”

“I don't really know Mey's character, Mas. But I know very well the nature of Rara. He was not a child that was easily instigated even that by his biological mother. He's a critical, intelligent and honest boy. Rara called me crying, Mas. He said he was scared. He has repeatedly said he is afraid. And I can't ignore the child's fear. Although he is not my real son, even he is my middle child, but I love Rara very much.

If Mas doesn't want to go there to see Rara's condition. Let me go there. He didn't even ask you to come. He asked me to come there. So, I'm coming!”

Wirra exhaled a long breath. The man grabbed Anna's phone as the wife was about to order a taxi.

“Let Mas inter. But, wait a minute, I'm gonna take a shower for a second, okay?”

“Don't be long!” ketus Anna's.

Wirra smiled. Anna's kindness made the man so happy. He is happy to have Anna as his wife.

Anna ran inside the house as soon as she got there. Pearls are the goal. He was looking for his favorite little girl.

“Rara where, Bu?” ask Anna.

“In his room. From earlier she locked herself in the room and cried.”

Anna immediately knocked on the door of the little girl's room. And the Pearl immediately grabbed Anna who was standing in the doorway.

“Rara why?” ask Anna. The little girl did not answer. Only her sobs were heard. Anna also invited Pearl to talk in the room of the girl who grew up as a teenager.

Meanwhile, Wirra asked about the frightened Pearl to the in-laws. The father-in-law told me what happened at the time.

“After Rara from the room while holding Arka, she continues to cry. He won't say anything. He just asked for a phone to call you.”

Wirra exhaled a heavy breath. “Then Wirra wants to see Mey first, Mom. Has Mey had a shower?”

“Not yet. He didn't even touch his breakfast,” replied the in-law.

Wirra meets Meyta and helps the woman clean her body. Repeatedly Wirra exhaled heavily as she continued to watch Meyta silence. In fact, the woman's eyes always looked empty.

What was Meyta's blank stare that made Rara feel scared? Hasn't it been a dozen days that his face has always been flat like this?

Wirra really doesn't understand. If the stepdaughter cries and feels scared after coming out of Meyta's room, doesn't that mean Meyta is the one who scared the little girl?

And Wirra only got the answer, after Anna managed to calm the Pearl. The little girl told me what she saw.

“Mama has absolutely no reaction, Pa. Arka fell to the floor tap mama did not react anything,” said the little girl. The pearl cried again in Anna's arms.

Wirra and the in-laws don't believe it. How could Meyta be able to ignore the baby? Although Meyta always put on a flat face a few weeks back, but the woman never ignored the baby. Meyta always calms the baby if the child cries.

“Mama really is like a corpse, Pa. Mom doesn't even want breakfast. Do you have no desire to live, Pa?” look at that little girl.

Everyone could only sigh heavily upon hearing the Pearl story about her mother.

“Mas ... Looks like Mey's got to be taken to a psychiatrist. He needs medical attention. Maybe losing a leg makes Meyta mentally more shaken from day to day,” Anna said.

Wirra made no comment. The man was actually getting tired of taking care of Meyta.

Seeing no response from his stepfather, Pearl broke free from Anna's embrace. The little girl knelt down in front of Wirra who was sitting together in the living room of her residence.

“Please mama, Pa,” wean the little girl. Anna shed tears looking at the scene.

Wirra knelt down with her stepson. “Honey, you don't have to beg like that. Without you asking, papa will also help mama. Mama is papa's wife,” Wirra said. The man persuaded the little girl to go back to sitting on the sofa.

After a discussion, Wirra decides to take Meyta to a psychiatrist. But it seems that Meyta was upset because she was considered crazy. The woman went berserk and said she wasn't crazy.

The woman continued to blame Anna and Wirra for the bad luck that befell her.

Meyta screamed to make the whole house panic. The woman even threw all the items that were within her reach.

The pearl tried to persuade the mother to take her to the hospital. However, Meyta instead strangled the neck of her favorite daughter. This makes the whole family panic.

Wirra even had to smother Meyta in order for the woman to release her grip from Pearl's neck.

And with the help of some neighbors, Meyta was finally successfully pacified by force.

With her body wrapped in a long cloth, Meyta was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
