Wizard and Deat Reaper: Hogwarts

Wizard and Deat Reaper: Hogwarts
Chapter 11's

Although Toushiro said that 'it' was a warm-up, for the young witches, what they saw next was a pretty serious hand-to-hand combat. Ichigo and Urahara-sensei had a duel with their bare hands that shocked them. Harry thinks the technique is similar to the karate he watched on Dudley television in the summer. However, the movements of the two were much faster, stronger, and more dangerous. Ichigo kicks, successfully avoided; Urahara-sensei punches, successfully repelled. Although their movements are dangerous, Ichigo's grin and stern gaze indicate that the two are not serious about the duel.

They just show that that's how the witch Shinou fights. It's just that, if just like that wasn't serious, what if they were serious.

"Damn."

Ichigo cursed all the way to the Transfiguration class with the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff children attending the same class, clutching the right side of his abdomen. The final blow struck him just as the bell of the last ten minutes rang so Ichigo had no chance to reply. However, they all have an idea that such a technique will be taught by Urahara, although Harry is sure to achieve it is not easy. Though Ichigo is clearly more experienced with how to fight ala Shinou – even though he did not study there, actually – plus the posture of the orange hair that is like a Muggle athlete, Urahara can still drop it. Harry looked at Toushiro who was walking beside Ichigo with an odd expression, as if he was holding back a laugh. He knew the little one was a commander (though still unbelievable), and wondered if he could keep up with Urahara.

"Stop complaining. It was not your first time dueling," Toushiro said kalem.

"yeah! It is precisely because of the frequent duels that he knows my movements and attacks more! It's easy for you to say that because you wouldn't bother beating with hakuda if your skills were zanjutsu!"

"Correct?" ask Ernie interested. "That's pretty cool, too! How about the sword? Must be exciting, eh?"

Toushiro shrugged his shoulders. He turned to Ichigo who was frowning while still gripping his ribs. "You're gonna stop whining like a girl if you don't get sick anymore, right?"

"Who's whining?" furious Ichigo.

"You better go to the hospital first, Ichigo," said Hermione anxiously.

"No need" Ichigo said, along with Toushiro. Ichigo glared at the white hair.

"Let me handle," said Toushiro, sighing. "It's not as good as the 4th Division Healing Team, but I can cure it."

"Good!" ichigo said happily, sitting in front of the door of McGonagall's classroom. Toushiro grunted softly, before kneeling beside Ichigo and placing his hand over Ichigo's right rib.

"What do you want?" ask Parvati wonder. Many gasp in shock as a bluish glow appears and envelops Ichigo's aching ribs.

"Kidou is healing," said Toushiro calmly. "Kidou techniques are indeed complicated to master, unless we train them from the ground up. Kidou has the function of attacking, defending, and even healing. There are three types, namely hadou, specifically for destructive spells, and bakudou, specifically for survival, or binders. The latter type is often called Unnamed, most of its spells for healing."

"I still don't understand why Urahara-sensei won't teach it. I mean," Neville added hurriedly, looking at Toushiro's sharp gaze, "it would be useful, like healing it, for example."

"Can you release your magic energy without a wand? Can you cast a spell without reading the chant?"

The students are silent. Neville shook his head slowly.

"That's why Urahara didn't ask her. It takes total control of your spiritual abilities, manifesting them in a certain form with a balanced composition of energy, because if you fail, you can blow yourself up by accident."

Neville gulped in horror.

"After all," Ichigo added, staring at the interested faces of his friends, "each-masng hadou and bakudou has ninety-nine spells, each with its own number, the greater the number the greater the power…"

"that must be memorized" Ichigo said, completing Hermione's sentence. He looked at the faces that turned into children's horror. "Imagine if you had to. The Withering Spell with the magic wand you used for, how many, five years? Yeah, that's all you can't master in a day, let alone the wandless magic you just found out today! My friend only has one hadou spell, but he's been, uh, at the last level."

"Truly, too" said Ron.

"It's done," said Toushiro quietly, pulling his hand from Ichigo; the bluish glow faded, then disappeared. "Just a little crack. I've cleared it up, but twelve hours ahead don't lift a heavy load to about thirty kilos-"

"I have no plans to be a building porters" Ichigo said, standing up and draping his bag. "But thanks, yeah."

"If there's still something you want to ask, Granger," said Toushiro, glancing and finding the girl's curious gaze, "set your time for later. You can ask me or Urahara, but later. Now we still have other things to take care of."

Is correct. Transfiguration Class.

And after that, after dinner while Harry was away for his detentions with Umbridge, Hermione literally rained down on Toushiro with a lot of questions. While at Grimmauld Place, Hermione had been trying to find out about Shinou. But preparations for Hogwarts caught their attention, especially Toushiro who was busy with the paperwork sent to him and had to finish it before he left London. Toushiro really couldn't be bothered at that time, although when he took a break from finishing the report he would help clean the house or teach the kidou to Ichigo, and after, after, don't you dare approach him to talk. Even Mrs Weasley was reluctant to approach her, only sending a concerned look as she saw the white hair barely visible behind a mountain of paperwork that was three times taller than her, with eyebrows barely fused together, tired eyes, and disheveled hair. Hermione simply swallowed all her curiosity, waiting for the right time. Ichigo cannot explain because he is not a complete student of Shinou.

But, after arriving at Hogwarts and Toushiro seems to not take care of the affairs of his division, Hermione finally got a chance to satisfy his curiosity. And fortunately, the 10th Division Commander was willing to explain about Soul Society and Shinou, to some extent. He refuses to talk if he asks about his personal opinion or personal life. Toushiro placed a general point of view on his explanation. Only he and Ron were listening, with Ichigo reading the Transfiguration book beside him, because after all only the Golden Trio, the Weasleys, and the Order of the Phoenix knew who they really were. Even the teachers of – except the four Heads of Dormitory – do not know Toushiro's position in Soul Society. The petite commander did not want his full identity to be known for granted.

"Shinou seemed like a military school to me" Hermione said, frowning. "What are you fighting?"

"Hollows. 'We told you that first" Ichigo said, glancing at Hermione.

"Only," said Hermione hesitantly, looking at Ichigo and Toushiro with a gaze that reminded the two shinigami of Mrs Weasley when they first learned that they were shinigami, especially when looking at their swords as if catching a thief wet with evidence that is not hard to hide. Ron threw a gaze between apologizing and amused, a strange combination. "How can you fight with that hollow…"

"To protect other spirits, of course," Toushiro said. He sighed. He had already explained about hollows; how they exist, what makes them dangerous, how to destroy them. But it seems that Hermione Granger does not look at the professional side, but humanism. Too human. "And it's our job, to keep the balance of the Spirit World. Hollows cannot be completely destroyed as long as humans still have all sorts of evil properties."

Hermione bit her lower lip, looking for a new argument. "That's. dangerous…"

"We're trained to deal with it."

"I knew. But.." Hermione sighed. "You killed hollow…"

Toushiro Kernyitan is deepening. "We didn't kill him. We're cleaning it." Toushiro saw the anxiety in Hermione's eyes. Toushiro understood something. Really, he or Ichigo or any shinigami who has taken the name of a shinigami need not be worried about anyone.

"We are different from humans" Toushiro said quietly, but enough to make Hermione and Ron look at him attentively. Even Ichigo closed the book. "We used to be human, yes, but now we're just his spirit. We can still feel like humans but our essence is different. We can still die like you, right, but for a different reason: we are shinigami. It's up to you to translate it, death god, soul reaper, death reaper. Our task is already very clear, sending spirits who are still trapped in the Human World, and – once again – to destroy hollow…"

"That's your job?"

"That's the shinigami's task," Toushiro said sternly, without a harsh tone. "Shinigami raised his sword because that was their duty. Don't make me repeat it again, Granger. We live in a different understanding. I accept your view, so accept our view."
